11: Take responsibility
She was taken aback by his sudden approach. All this time this guy was stalking her in the pretense of finding answers to his weird question, he made her think he was some boss of a big gang, but Nuri shook that thought after seeing how silly he was.
At last, she gave him no mind and kept on moving inside the factory. From the looks of it, everything inside was in a good condition, clean and expensive. But Nuri was curious if this factory was in this good condition, why was there no one to guard the gate?
It was strange since this factory doesn't look like it was old or abandoned in any way. If that's not the case, what can it be?
She wondered to herself but decided to throw that thought out of her mind for the time being.
Even though they succeed in getting inside the factory, doesn't mean the doors of the factory were opened to them. They were on the lawn, no one in sight.
" Hey! Woman, will you stop for a moment and talk to me ", It can be seen in his voice that he was pissed in any way.
" Did I tell you to follow me? No, right? You came here on your own two feet, don't drag me in ", Nuri sounded way too cruel as those words came out of her mouth.
He was taking her for someone else, Nuri got this sometime later but now that she knew, she was completely forgetting his existence in this world.
" Still... aren't you being too cruel to me? I just want to confirm if you are telling the truth, what's so wrong with that? Plus, you have been acting weird from the very start. Even now, I am talking to you. But look at you, you are refusing to show me your face, can't meet my eyes. What else can I understand from all your strange movements? ", Santiago sounded serious and he was in the first place.
Nuri was walking around, seeing if she can sneak inside the factory somehow, all the doors and windows were shut tightly, must be from inside.
Santiago was seriously done with her, he has the guts to grab her by the head and turned her face around to make her meet his eyes. But he was unable to.
And a part of his heart did not approve of his idea, as if he has the hunch that she is dangerous and it was better to stay away from her, ten steps away if he can for his safety.
She saw a crack on the side of the window as if it was slightly opened. Without waiting any further, she went there and tried to push the window.
As expected, this one window was opened, maybe forgotten by the worker while closing for the day.
From the space opened by the window, a sweet and aromatic scent was escaping the factory, making its way directly toward Nuri's nose.
From the sweet aromatic smell, Nuri knew what this was. She again looked at the big broad patch on the factory entrance. As expected, it was a cake-making factory.
Santiago approached her, the smell went to his nose and he started sniffing it like a dog. " This sweet smell is surely making me go hungry. What are you waiting here for? Let's get in ", Santiago jumped inside from the window and smiled at her.
She was a little taken aback when he suddenly jumped to the other side but made sure she would not meet his gaze and then jumped inside. The height was less between the window and the inside ground, so she had no problem jumping inside.
Even though she had that stoic face expression on her face, her heart was saying differently. For the whole time, it was thumping windy, good thing he had maintained a safe distance from her. Or else, she doesn't know what he will think about her.
After getting inside, she closed the window leaving only a less space between it. It was a storage room where they landed. Unlike all other storage rooms she had seen until now, this one was completely giving off a different vibe.
The room was pretty large, the raw materials were stored in big plastic bags and not even a single piece of material was spilled on the ground. Sanitary we maintained in carefully so that not a single spec of dust could be found anywhere.
Even when she slid her index finger on the window marble, nothing came stuck to her finger. The marble and the floor were shining, even their faces could be seen on it.
" Aren't you leaving? ", Nuri asked while looking around and inspecting if there were any CCTV cameras installed in the room anywhere.
" It's gonna be dark in an hour and I won't reach the place before four hours. So I think it's best to spend the night here ", He said.
The place where he wants to go is four hours apart, and it's too scary when the sunlight disappears.
After settling down in that storage room, Nuri made her way to the marble ground, the whole day was exhaustion for her. Despite walking for maybe three hours and sitting in the bus for two hours, her body drained all the energy she has stored up till now, she got the taste of what a patient feels when lying on the ground.
Santiago saw her tumbling on the ground suddenly, she fell instead of sitting. He got startled by her sudden movement and rushed to her immediately.
" Hey! What's up? Are you okay? ", He asked worriedly.
" G...go away, don't touch me ", She smacked his hand with all the strength she had left with.
Unfortunately, her strength was equal to nothing, which cause nothing to him, it felt like she smack him with a feather.
' Hey! Stupid guy, come out and tell me what's going on. Suddenly...it feels like my body parts are giving up on me, why is this happening to me? ', her brain was the only thing that was working properly at the moment, all her body was shaking and shuddering like a wet kitten.
" You don't look good, what's happening? How are you feeling? ".
Santiago was really worried about her right now, the way she was acting was not normal.
Despite her warning, he still touched. Grabbed her by the shoulder and then pinned her into his grab.
Nuri was astonished, wanting to push him away but he wouldn't let go, her strength was by no means enough to break free from his grip. " Would you let go or should I break your mouth? ", She hissed.
" Look at me, you are not okay ", Santiago said.
Nuri started laughing at his concerned thoughts. " Hahaha! If I am to look into your, I promise you won't be okay. So just up and free me ".
Santiago didn't listen to her. With his plus-size hands, he cupped her face and turned it towards his, face-to-face. This action of his was too quick, she got no time to react and ended up looking into his eyes.
Santiago was unaffected but she was not, her black pupil started turning shining blue, and he felt a different kind of wave entering his body as his eyes met his, she started losing control over her body.
A bloody devil smile appeared on her face as she smirked and cupped his face with her small hands, pulling him down to her level. " My boy, I told you no? Don't force me, or else you would regret it. Apparently, you didn't listen. Now take responsibility ".
