CHAPTER 34: ACADEMY ENTRANCE (3)

After Kavel and Melka get on the stage, he then takes out a sand hourglass and places it on the ground near him.

“The grandmaster told me to do as I see fit with you. I am not a bad guy so I will only fix one condition. You must defeat me before the sand in this hourglass has completely fallen.”

Kavel turns the hourglass and the sand starts to fall. He then brings out three pieces of metal, and screws them together rapidly. When he is finished, long and thin blades appeared a the top and the bottom.

“You can come at me any time.”

He starts waving his weird spear around while doing some kind of dance. Melka looks at him for a second like he is amusing, funny even. But then, looking at the hourglass, she realizes that a fifth has already fallen down. Is it not an hourglass? Judging by the way it is falling, she doesn’t have the time to look at him shaking around then.
