Chapter 43- Lovers Quarrel.

Raina's POV.

Our tongues danced and teased each other and I could hear his groans and my moan of satisfaction, he tasted more sweet than he did before.

I bit his lips and he bit mine in return dragging my lower lips and sucking on it mercilessly.

I heard a faint voice, the faint voice became louder.

"Bas that's enough, the executives are coming soon." I sat up straight when I heard Gabriel's voice, I sat on the chair quickly, I looked down bitting my lips shyly, he groaned like he wanted to kiss me again so bad.

"Why didn't you knock." He glared at Gabriel.

"I'm sorry, but I did, I even called out many times and there was no reply." He shook his head.

"Hi Raina." Gabriel waved at me and I blushed to the highest shade of red.

"You're embarrassing her stop." Bas warned.

"Well, you'll give her more embarrassment if the employees coming up here for the final meeting walk up on you both like this." He gestured to us.

"Well I don't care." Bas said.

"Oh, I do." I stood up immediately arranging my cloth and hair using the glass mirror.

I brought out my laptop and checked my project display for the meeting.

"What do you care?" Bas asked.

I knew he was going to ask that's why I decided to be busy, but he wasn't going to drop it either if I didn't tell him what he wanted to know.

"People will talk." I said.

"And what if they do?, I'm ready to make our relationship public." He replied.

"Well since we're not doing that now, let's not make people know." I said quickly.

"What exactly are you not telling me Raina." He asked.

"I'll go inside the washroom, I don't want to be included in this lovers quarrel." Gabriel said and turned to the washroom.

"And be fast, we have three minute till the meeting." He added.

"Now talk Raina." Bas said.

"Well, they've already been saying that I'm getting deals because I'm close to the CEO's sister and I'm using connection to do what I want in the office." I pouted at him.

I was still angry when I heard that, that's why I was afraid of the reaction people would give when the find out about our relationship, they were already saying many untrue things.

"You know you're Talented, you work hard and it shows, I don't even have to compliment you or do anything for you to show how diligent and talented you are at your work, so don't let any mean comments that are made by unhappy people make you think less of yourself." He said calmly patting my hands with a smile, he just comforted me just by saying that, it meant a lot to me that he could bring me out from this form of self destruction I was driving at.

I smiled back at him, and I shifted apart when I heard a throat clearing.

Gabriel walked in and sat down shaking his head at both of us.

"I said be careful and no foreplay." He said.

"We weren't even doing anything." Bas shrugged.

"Welcome everyone." I turned as he welcomed everyone coming in for the meeting.
