Chapter 62 Punishments

Right now, anyone who is going through the entrance of the Fairy Tail guild was laughing a bit seeing the condition of a few members

Natsu was placed on a spinning top where his dragon senses were scrambled completely. Gray was made to wear a lot of woollen clothes which gave him the expression of wanting to die. Lisanna was made to write "I will not be reckless" in a large book continuously and happy had a fishing rod taped to his head with a fish hanging just outside of the reach of his small hands and he was flying in circles.

And all of them had a board in front of them in which it was written

"THESE IDIOTS BROKE THE GUILD RULES AND BIT OFF MORE THAN THEY CAN CHEW"

While others suffered Lisanna was suffering from the shame, she was feeling from being watched by people going through outside looking at them. She made a promise to herself to make sure not to allow Natsu to do stupid things like this again.

While all were undergoing punishments, the guild members inside were laughing seeing their plight

"you have a sadistic streak when you want to punish someone you know" Ultear said while sipping a beer

"would you have wanted Porlyosika to punish them instead"

Ultear spat out her beer hearing what Karna said but Karna quicky dodged it.

"I forgot, compared to her you are an angel" Ultear said while her face looked like she remembered something traumatic

Karna can't blame her in that because every adult and child ever present in the guild has one or two traumatic memories related to granny. Thankfully Natsu and the others escaped this time because she was out of town.

"So, I heard you got promoted to S class congratulations" Karna said to Ultear as she had reached S class recently

"well, I was waiting for you to say that as well, thanks for being the last person" Ultear said with a smile

Then they talked some more seeing that it has been some time since they talked with each other like this. Plus, they were among the seniors in the Fairy Tail guild when it comes to the juniors. And after it seemed like they talked enough Karna's expression suddenly turned a bit serious and seeing this Ultear also knew the next talks are going to be serious.

"How much has the investigation about those proceeded" Karna asked

"after the destruction we caused, we managed to hunt down most of them, but the important members escaped" Ultear replied

"Hmm, alright. Well, I wanted to inform you that one of the Baram alliance is planning on attacking a particular city. The information I received may not be accurate, but I would like it if you can go there"

"alright and from the way you are telling me this, you want me to hide the fact that I got this information from you, or should I say I chanced upon their attack while searching for the people who were responsible for kidnapping me"

"yeah, I owe you one, well I got to meet Cana" Saying that Karna gave her a map and left

Ultear looked at Karna walking away and sighed

"I was too late wasn't I" while saying this there were a few emotions in her eyes that no one saw.

At the same time in another part of Fiore

"Zankrow take the new recruits including Zoldeo and burn down that town also make sure to obtain the Key of Zeref from there. And if you fail don't bother to come back"

"yes, master Hades" Zankrow said and went to take care of the orders

"the new recruit seems to be a bit unstable master" Azuma commented from the side

Hades laughed at Azuma's caution

"what else did you expect, that idiot feared physical wounds, so he decided that doing a taboo magic wrong, take its punishment and use the punishment to take over the body of the spirit will make him invincible but

"don't you worry about it, even if I was unsuccessful in finding an arrow art for you, I managed to find out all runes that will support your archery. Now all that matters is to find one that suits you the most"

In the last few Years, Karna had increased his abilities in large amounts. His slayer magic and Archery has risen up by so much that only using one of them can alleviate him to S Class. Right now Karna feels like if he had met the Drakon leader, he would be able to kill him by himself. He had also made sure to study the knowledge of other types of magic even if he can't use them by abusing his mind palace.

But for some time, other than increasing his level of magic which currently is extremely tremendous that fully releasing it might be similar to Shank's Haki. So he decided to give a try of Runes to increase his power. He was planning on doing it for a long time but something or the other happens that demands his attention.

Today he had led Ultear to a path that might cross her paths with Meredy and save her from the tragedy that is about to strike her hometown. He had also made sure to keep an arrow with the map that he gave her so that she can call him immediately if she is in danger.

But right now, he needs to concentrate on his Rune lessons.
