A Dear Novel

"Miss Ai," said the staff who had been calling each actress to the audition room.

AiLin sat still even as her name was called. Only after she was called for the third time did her eyes brightened as if it had snapped out from her daze and she walked toward the person.

She had read the part of the script which the director, co director, and the writer wanted to see and after reading the script, she realized that most of the lines were the ones that she had particularly liked when reading the novel. So much so that she had memorized it by heart.

It wasn't a lot of lines, in fact it was only three paragraphs consisting of a few words each. The priority of the audition today didn't seem to check whether the actress could memorize the lines but to see whether they could deliver the raw emotions that seemed to be the main theme of the story.

But for some reason, AiLin's mind was clear.. so clear that it was empty or perhaps numb.
