Twenty-eighth chapter

The next day Izzy don't talk with me. After what happened I don't even want to talk to her. At lunch she wasn't there. Liz was sitting at our table again with Steven AJ and I. Valerie didn't even sit with us. Since yesterday she sat with Nick where Liz was sat before.

"What's up?" Steven asked after we sat down.

"I got 'A' from Math." I said with a smile.

"Good for you." AJ sighed. "I got D."

"You can still improve." Steven said.

"You speak easily. You got B+." He said indignantly.

"Then I will tutor you." Steven said happily. "What mark did you get Liz?" He turned to her.

"I got B-." She said.

"B-?" I asked a little louder than it should have been. She nodded with a smile.

"Well done!" Steven said. She smiled at him and continue to eat. We heard Valerie's loud laughter. Liz sighed and looked serious.

"What's up with Aaron? If you don't mind the question of course you don't have to answer." Steven said.

"He will come to the school tomorrow. Thanks what you said yesterday! It was really nice from you." He nodded with a faint smile. "By the way, I like your scarf." She said.

"Really?" He asked and looked at her weirdly.

"Yeah. It suits you. Where did you buy?" She asked.

"This scarf was designed and made by me." He said proudly and touched his scarf.

"What? How?" She asked in surprised.

"I love fashion and I sometimes design something else. It's not a big deal." He said and continue to eat.

"Is it not a big deal? It is. It's fantastic!" She said with a smile.

"Thanks. If you want, I can design something for you. I promised Valerie to I will design her dress for the prom, but it doesn't seem to me that she will needs my help." He said sadly.

"Can you make a whole dress?" She asked. He nodded. "Long time ago I wanted to be a dress designer too."

"Changed your mind?" AJ asked. She nodded.

"It is impossible for me and it takes a lot of time." She said.

"True but it worth. You can express yourself." Steven said.

"Which university will you going to?" She asked.

"Fashion Institute of Technology." He said.

"In New York? This is my favorite city." She said enthusiastically and she sighed. "You are so lucky." She said sadly.

"You can even choose that." He said.

"It's too late." She said.

"You still have a week to choose where you want to go." AJ said. She sighed.

"I'm sure my father wouldn't let me be a fashion designer. New York is a big city. The scholarship makes it easier for me to get into University Sports." She said.

"Sport? You do it for him right?" Steven asked. Liz looked at her food. Steven smiled. "You can do what the others expect in your life, or you can do what you want. You may offend him, but if he will see that you do all this with heart and soul then he will accept is. This is your decision." He said.

"I've never done this before." She said sadly.

"If this is your only problem then come to me. Even today. There is a bit of a mess at my home due to a lot of clothes, but I can teach you the basics." He smiled.

"I don't know." She said. He shrugged.

"Then tell me how you decided." He said and continue to eat.

What I heard made me think.

"Dress designer hmm." I said in a parking.

"More quiet!" She whispered nervously and grabbed my wrist to pull me away from our bodyguards. They looked at us incomprehensibly. "Don't tell it to anyone! Neither to them nor to Noel, but especially not to Alex." She whispered.

"I just want you to be happy." I whispered.

"I am." She said.

"Completely?" I asked.

"Don't discuss it here and not now." I nodded.

I never thought Liz want to be a designer. I've been here for over two weeks and she hasn't mentioned anything about it to me. Anyway, I can't blame her. I'm also glad it turned out. Unfortunately, I don't understand fashion as much as Steven.

When I watched TV in the living room, I heard the sound of a loud noise like never before. I turned off the TV and went out to see what happened. Alex ran down the stairs and walked out the door. Noel came down the stairs with a frightened look. As Alex didn't close the door the sound was almost deafening.

"What happened?" I shouted.

"Liz took a lots pills and she fainted." He shouted and started to cry.

"What?" What's happening?

Two men in blue T-shirts and black pants appeared who ran up the stairs and almost pushed away Noel. He hugged me. The two men brought down Liz who was white and her eyes was closed.

"Amanda. I need to go to the hospital you need to care of Noel." Alex said quickly.

"I want to go too!" I said in a raised voice.

"You may come in later but stay here now. I'll call you later." He said quickly and closed the door with a key. The loud sound went farther and farther.

I stood frozen there. Noel hugged me tightly, cried and I stood there staring the front door to see if they would return at any moment, but they won't. I had to sit down due to the effect of the shock, so I sat down on the carpet in the hallway pulling Noel with me. I threw my back against the wall and I stared at the opposite wall. After ten minutes, Noel just sniffed, and he tilted his head to my left arm.

"What if she died? Didn't she die, right?" Noel asked and he leaned away from me. I looked at him. He had similarly blue eyes as Liz. His face was wet due to crying and tears were still glistening in his eyes.

"I don't know." I whispered and I felt tears rolled down my face. When I start to cry? He sat sadly next to me and tilted his back against the wall.

"I don't want to lose her. Her too." He whispered in a trembling voice. I put my arm around his shoulder with my left hand without looking at him either. "I love her so much." I bit my mouth. Unfortunately, me too.

I didn't know how long we just sat on the carpet, but I felt my phone vibrate. I took it out of there. I saw Alex's name and I immediately turned it on.

"She survived." He said. We sighed. "Although if we will meet, she won't rejoice, but she lives." I smiled. "If she will wake up, I'll call you again."

"When we can visit her?" Noel asked.

"I don't know." Alex sighed. "She needs to get up first and after we discussed the matter, I ask her that she would like to meet with you." Noel sighed.

"Ok." Noel said with a resigned voice.

"Calm down and until then drink something and take a rest." Alex said and hung up the phone.

We heard a key ring and looked at each other questioningly.

"Did you really buy everything?" John asked.

"Yeah." George said.

We stood up and walked to the kitchen.

"Where have you been?" I asked angrily.

"Alex said that we need go to the shop. What is this look? Something happened?" Ashton asked.

"Liz is in the hospital." I said. They looked at me in shock.

"What happened?" George asked.

"She took pills until you weren't here." I said angrily.

"Don't be mad princess! She must have heard our conversation. I thought Alex could pay attention to her alone." John said thoughtfully.

"Which hospital are she in?" Ashton asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"We can't take care of her here." He said.

"I'll call Alex and we'll go." John said and he pulled out his phone to call Alex. "Hi dude. What's up with your daughter?" Break. "Hmm." Break." Which hospital?" Break "Why? We can't protect her if she isn't here." Break. "We're leaving soon. Send the address via SMS. See you there." He hung up the phone.

"We want to go too!" Noel and I said at the same time.

"It is school tomorrow." John said.

"You know who you're talking to, don't you? This is a command." I said. He sighed.

"Alright! We go with our car." John said.

We walked to the car five minutes later.

"Noel, you have to sit back. This is my place." Ashton said.

"I want to sit here." Noel said. Referring to the mother's seat.

"You are a kid." Ashton said.

"I always sit here. I won't sit back!" Noel said assertively and he folded his arms.

"Bro you need to sit back." John said and patted Ashton's shoulder.

We finally set off.

"How do you get here?" Alex asked when he saw us.

"Didn't you think seriously right that we will stay in your house?" I asked. He rolled his eyes.

"I could have thought it would be." He said.

"Something happened?" John asked. Alex shook his head.

"She is on infusion, but she hasn't woken up yet." He said.

"Can I go in her room?" I asked.

"Theoretically yes. This is her room." He pointed the door which is near to him. I headed for the door. "Let's say it doesn't make much sense because she hasn't woken up yet." Not caring about what he said I opened the door and closed it. I went closer to her. She was no longer as white as an hour ago. Two tubes hung out of her hand. Nonetheless she was beautiful.

"Why did you do that?" I sighed. She didn't answer. She lay there as when we performed the Romeo and Juliet. I slapped my forehead. Poison. "If you did it because of that stupid book." I shook my head. "Well I need to." I blushed. Should I kiss her? This isn't the best time to do it, but she is so beautiful. I moaned and shrugged. If nothing will happen then nothing will go wrong. I leaned over and kissed her lips. Nothing happened. I sighed and I headed for the door. Before I opened the door, someone did. Three man and a woman hurried in.

"Go out please!" The woman said quickly. I walked out with frown.

"What happened?" Alex asked. All of them sat on the chairs. I shrugged and sat down next to Alex.

After a while, the people came out who was inside her room except Liz. They headed in one direction except the woman who came towards us.

"We have no idea how. By some inexplicable miracle when this girl was inside..." She said and looked at me but Alex interrupted her.

"What's the point?" He asked.

"She woke up." She said with a smile. I looked at her with widened eyes.
