Twenty-seventh chapter

Although they weren't satisfied with my answer we had to go to school. Harry and Travis came with us but in a different car. John also traveled with Harry and Travis to check the school from the outside and tell us if he saw Aaron somewhere. George and Ashton stayed at Alex's home if Aaron accidentally will show up there. Liz was completely safe. At school Liz's classmates were amazed that two new students came from Spain again, but this fact didn't really bother them. The girls just stared at them. What can I say? They are handsome and very muscular. We needed them now.

"Can we talk?" Izzy asked. I nodded slowly. "Not here." We went out of the room and sat down on the corridor to a bench. I looked at her. She sighed. "I'm so sorry! I was so angry about what happened. I know it wasn't your fault after all I blamed you. I was such a bad friend. I knew you weren't going to be here for a long time after all, I have neglected you. Can you forgive me?" She looked at me. I nodded.

"I'm so sorry too." I said. I remembered the party.

"You have no reason to apologize. The point is to we have fun in the remaining time and forget that bitch." She smiled.

"Who are you thinking of?" I frowned.

"For Liz." She looked at me as if I should have known that.

"Why do you say that? You don't even know her." I said indignantly.

"Do you know her?" She laughed. "She kissed you. Who knows how many people she kissed before behind Aaron's back." I got so angry that I slapped her. She touched her face and I put my hands on my mouth in fright.

"Omg! Izzy. I'm so sorry!" She stood up silently and walked toward the restroom. I went quickly after her. She wanted to go into one of the toilets, but I grabbed her arm. After I let her go, she grabbed my face and kissed me. I immediately pushed her away from myself. I wiped my lips with my hand and looked at her questioningly. A tear rolled down her face.

"Why?" I asked and looked at her in disbelief.

"Because I love you!" She whispered after a while. I just looked at her in confused. I started to step backwards, and I ran out of the restroom towards the classroom.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked when he saw me close the classroom's door. I nodded. "You don't look like that." He said kindly.

"Shouldn't you be in the classroom?" I asked angrily.

"I can go to the restroom, can't I? Travis is in. We protect your friend." He said but he wasn't angry. I sighed.

"Sorry!" I said.

"Don't worry princess!" I looked around quickly no one heard this by accident.

"Amanda. Call me Amanda! Are we students do you remember?" I whispered.

"I hope we don't have to stay here long. Mrs. Brown is so frightening." He said.

"The math teacher?" I frowned. He nodded.

"She kept staring at me. It gives me the creeps." I shrugged.

"I think she is kind." I said.

"Too kind if you ask me. Whatever! Let's go to the classroom! The next lesson will begin soon." He said with a little enthusiastically.

During the breaks, Izzy tried to communicate with me. She wrote messages on sheets of paper from her booklet, but I didn't read them. She went out during the following break. I think she was waiting for me that I will follow you because she didn't want to discuss here. We haven't talked in a while and that's what she said about Liz it upset me. She kissed me after that because she loves me, but she said we are friend. What? How could she fall in love with me in such a short time? She doesn't even know. She doesn't know the truth about me and maybe she will never. While I was thinking about that someone sat down next to me. I didn't want to look there because I thought it was Izzy, but something purple crawled into my field of vision and I looked there.

"Hi." Leila said. She is one of Liz's friends and her hair is purple.

"Hi." I said weirdly. We never talked before.

"I'm Leila, but you know for sure. I just came to ask if there was anything between you and Harry?" I frowned.

"No." I frowned.

"And with Travis?" She raised her left eyebrow.

"No." I almost asked.

"Cool! Thanks!" She stood up and walked to the boys. There was a free chair in the row in front of them, so she sat down there and started talking to them. The guys just stared at her, but they didn't really look her eyes, which I don't think bothered her so much because I think that was her purpose. During the break before lunch, Leila left the chair offended and marched forward to hers.

"What's up?" Kiara asked her without looking at her. They are twins but Kiara has a dark brown hair.

"They don't want to hang with me because they only stay here for a short time and just go home." She lamented loudly. "Fuckhead." I looked at the guys who were trying not to laugh at what Leila said. I shook my head with a smile.

After an hour I headed for the canteen, but someone grabbed my wrist. I turned and looked down at Liz.

"Can I have lunch with you?" She asked shyly while she looked at the floor.

"Of course! Don't you want to have lunch with your friends? He isn't here." She nodded.

"Ok. If you want this." She is so weird. She has never been so shy.

"I want you to do what you want Liz." I said.

"Can I join then?" She looked at me. I nodded with a smile. We went into the canteen. Steven and AJ were sitting already at our usual table with Izzy who smiled after she looked at me but as soon as she saw that Liz was coming behind me, she stood up and walked away angrily. The two guys watched the scene incomprehensibly. After we got there, they looked at us incomprehensibly as well.

"Hi guys." I said and sat down. I looked at them, but they looked at Liz with the same look. "Liz is joining us. Is it okay?" They are looked at each other. AJ nodded.

While we were eating some student looked at us in amazement that Liz was sitting here not there.

"What's up?" Steven asked. "The coolest denied you or what?"

"Steven!" AJ said. Steven just rolled his eyes and continue to eat.

"If you really want to know Aaron almost raped me on Sunday, but beside this, nothing special happened." Liz said while she looked at her food. We looked at her with opened mouth.

"What?" AJ asked first. Liz stood up wordlessly and walked out. I quickly went after her and saw that she went into a room. We were in the school's library. I walked between the lines.

"Romeo and Juliet." I said and smiled after I saw the book.

"Classic literature." A lady said. I looked at her in shock. "I'm sorry! I'm the librarian. Are you looking for something?" She smiled at me.

"I look for someone." I said.

"We are all looking for someone." She said thoughtfully. I cleared my throat. "I wondered. Not many people come here during the lunch breaks. They rather go here after school to read or study. The person who you are looking for will maybe there in the back. Look at it calmly. If you want to find this person you will find this person if this person also wants it. Good luck!" She said with a smile and walked away. I blinked big after her.

"Ok." I said weirdly and walked back. Armchairs and chairs were placed there and some tables. Liz sat on one of the armchairs looking at the book on her lap. I pushed one of the armchairs closer to her and I sat down.

"Romeo and Juliet?" I asked with a frown after I saw the book. It's strange.

"Tragedy. Like my life." She sighed. "I just grabbed the first book which I saw. It was a coincidence."

"There are no coincidences darling." The woman appeared. We both looked at her in fright. "I'm glad you found the person you were looking for." She walked closer to us and looked at what was in Liz's lap. She smiled and looked at me. I looked away in confusion. "As I said there are no coincidences." She said.

"What exactly does this mean??" Liz asked.

"You have to figure it out." She said.

"How?" Liz asked. The lady pointed to the book.

"Books help you understand the world." She said and walked away.

"Do you understand?" Liz asked. I shook my head without looking at her. I just looked the book. Our relationship is a tragedy. "By the way where are Harry and Travis? Amanda!" She raised her voice.

"Hmm?" I looked at her.

"Where are the bodyguards? They should take care of me or at least you." She said.

"Leila may convinced them to hang out with her." I said.

"I doubt it. She is a bitch." She said. I frowned.

"She is your friend, isn't she?" I asked.

"You know it's not worth trusting everyone who looks at you. People are different. She can convince anyone to hang out with her. She is pretty outside but empty inside." She said.

"Perhaps she is more than what she shows about herself." I said.

"You believe too much good about people." She said with a grimace and stood up. " Come on! The lessons begin." She looked down at me.

Liz borrowed the book. I asked why, but she just shrugged and didn't say anything. Our bodyguards were inside the room and they talk with each other. At the end of the lesson Liz, Harry, Travis and I walked out the school to headed to the parking, but we heard Steven's voice, so we turned around and looked at Steven and AJ.

"Liz can we talk?" He asked. She looked at me and I nodded. Liz walked closer to them and she folded her arms.

"I'm sorry! I want to apologize for my behavior. It was just so unusual that you were there at our table. Whatever. What you say was true?" She nodded. "Look! If something wrong call me calmly." He took a note from his pocket and give it to her. "I think that's it. Bye." He said and they walked away. Liz didn't move for a while. She just looked down at the page. She finally turned to us. She looked at me incomprehensibly and walked back to us.

"What's up?" I asked with a smile.

"I don't understand." She looked at the paper. "Why he did it?"

"He made it from selflessness." I said.

"It's weird." She said but I just rolled my eyes and I walked to the parking, so they followed me. The guys said they would stay here until Alex came.

"You weren't watching us during the lunch break." Liz said.

"We did." Travis said.

"It didn't seem to me." She said.

"You went to the library. You two were inside plus the librarian." Harry said. We listened to them in amazement.

"We are everywhere." Travis said with a smile.

"You didn't disappoint for us." I said admiringly.

"This is our job. We serve and protect." Travis said and they bowed.

"When we will come back, we can teach you some self-defense moves if you want." Harry said to Liz.

"Do you think I can't defend myself?" Liz asked.

"If you need us then the answer is probably no." Harry said. She shrugged.

"Whatever." She said.

After we got the house, they went out to train even in the cool weather.

"I'm scared." Alex said. I looked out the kitchen's window and he stood next to me.

"Why?" I asked without looking at him.

"She will be stronger than me." He said.

As Liz trained, she easily mastered which the guys showed her. Though they are too tall and muscular for Liz it didn't prevent her to defeat them. It was funny when one of them got to the ground.

"Do you need security guards?" Harry moaned on the ground. Liz smiled.

"Sorry! I forgot I am a weak girl."

"Devil!" Harry grimaced and he stroked his head. I smiled.

"Be careful with her! Gets behind you and bang. You lost." Alex said.

"She is too good." I said.

"She could learn just as well." He said and walked away.

"How much does the university cost?" I asked without looking at him.

"1605 dollar without scholarship. I hope she will get the scholarship. Her every mark has to be C or better. If she won't succeed, then she has to work." I looked at her happy face. I'll miss her.
