However, Maki then asked, "So what now, Sensei? Because we have about two weeks from now to prepare but we know nothing about Mana attacks and some fighting skills."
This was a really important question because, despite Jason's natural fighting skills, Vincent's battle strategy and Maki's intellect, they have little experience in combat.
Dante knew of this and as such, prepared a plan for that.
"That's my main mission today. I've analyzed each of your talents, strengths and weaknesses and found a way for you to harness your full potential!!," he said in an excited tone, which even Jason found awkward.
"Well, what is it??," Jason and Maki asked out of curiosity.
"Camping!!," Dante answered while doing de peace sign and smiling.
"You're joking, right??," Vincent asked out of disbelief and shock.
"Nope. We're going to Planitia of Cerulean. It's a perfect spot for you guys to train like there's no tomorrow!!"
"I've heard of that place!! According to the tales, it's a mysterious area where the strongest Mages can enter to train their skills and even high ranking Knights have been known to search for that place. But so far, no one has found that place," Maki explained while adjusting her glasses.
"You're right!! But I'm the only Knight who knows of the location and I'm taking you all with me tomorrow!!"
"Sweet!! If that ends up with me being stronger than I am now, then I'm ready!!," Jason said with as much enthusiasm as always.
"I suppose I could need more training compared to that back home," Vincent pondered before making his decision to join.
"I'm not that busy myself tomorrow, so I'm in!!," Maki agreed as well.
"Then it's settled!! We leave at dawn!!"

The day arrived and Team Peregrine finally got to their destination.
And the kids were astonished by the beautiful landscape surrounding them.
"This valley is so big and beautiful!!," Maki spoke as she admired the luscious green hills and fast-flowing springs.
Even Vincent himself was lost of words as he's never seen a place as beautiful as this.
"Over all my years of existence, this might the most beautiful place in the world!!," he concluded as he was still gazing at the landscape.
"Indeed!! This is an ideal place for relaxation and training, because there is a lot of Mana energy everywhere," Dante explained, while pleased of his students' reactions.
Then, he brought the kids' attention to announce of their training schedule.
"Now for today's training, you all are going to learn how to harden your bodies into shape."
"This is extremely important because every person's body has a certain limit on how much Mana can be manipulated and harnessed from the outside."
"And as such, I'll be sure to be putting you all in shape!!"
"This is the training regiment for Team Peregrine: Jason, you're a close-combat individual who has a decent amount of fighting skills for your age, but you're still inexperienced. For that, we'll be working on your Mana cultivation and physical strength."
"Vincent, you're basically the operator of this fine engine we have as a team. You're also a long-range expert. We'll work strictly on using Mana-based spells and other long distance attacks; but for now, we'll fix that frail body of yours and make it as tough as steel!!"
"And Maki, you're a special one. Although you're not as extremely talented as Jason and Vincent, you're the heart and brains of this team. We'll work on increasing your Mana reserves due to your ability to sense other Mana sources, as well as discussing battle strategies for the tournament."
He concluded on this note and surprisingly, his students took it well. In fact, no sooner had he finished speaking than they started rushing for the nearest plains to start training.
"Good!! Now then—," Dante got up, withdrew his sword and said to the kids, "—training begins now!!"
