Ultimate Detective/Genius
"What do you have to offer?", I asked the man in front of me curiously.
This is a very important decision. It is about honor.
"Nothing", the man in front of me said. Obviously not prepared. He probably thought I would do it due to the fun factor due to it being a fun game. BUT HE THOUGHT FALSE. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY HONOR!
Shortly after the man another man came up to me.
"What do you have to offer?", I asked this man the same question.
"50,000$. Well, I only have 50$. Due to this 50$", I looked at him speechless.
"If that's your offer I will decline", I said to the man while standing up.
"Well. I only had 17$", the man murmured, which I overheard.
"Wait! I can organize you a date with Santiago", the man made his last attempt.
This was no way to go. I left after that.
As you may have already noticed these two men are Captain Holt and Jake Peralta respectively.
As they couldn't offer me much and I was already here in New York anyway I decided to make my own team.
After making up my mind I went to the 99th precinct, greeted everyone, and then went to Captain Holt's office. Jake was already there.
"I will participate in you're game", I announced to them.
"Not possible", Captain Holt's answer came out like a bullet. Fast and precise.
"Why not?", I asked.
"Only people of the precinct can win", Jake said this time.
"That's good", I said with a smile. I knew of a way to participate in the Halloween Heist.
For this, I needed the two best detectives in the precinct.
But before them, I needed to make a contract.
In it, it is stated that in the Halloween Heist, if they participate, they will be called Ethan's team. They will too hand over all the rewards of the win to their leader Ethan Alvarez. It doesn't matter if the reward is spiritual or material.
With this, I would be handed over the trophy as well as the speech.
After that, I went back to the precinct and went to the two best detectives in the whole of Brooklyn.
Hitchcock and Scully.
There was no way they would read this contract. The others would all read this.
"Hey, Hitchcock and Scully! Sign this", I said to them.
"Why?", Hitchcock asked.
"Then you guys will be cool", that was a little weakness of theirs. They didn't hesitate much and immediately signed the contract.
"Thanks, guys", I thanked them and looked at Captain Holt's office, where Jake and Holt were still talking.
"Hitchcock and Scully will participate in the heist", I announced to the two of them loudly as I entered the office. After that, I immediately left. Did I? Yes, but not before planting a bug on the couch.
After walking out of the office I hid in the file room, which was mostly abandoned. There I put in earplugs and started listening to their conversation.
I put everything back to when I left. I, of course, didn't forget to record it too.
"What is his plan?", Captain Holt said with an agitated voice.
"I don't know", Jake said seemingly lost in thoughts.
They didn't say much after that as they were still competitors and Jake soon left the office. Well. He was ordered to leave it.
The object to steal was Captain Holt's Medal of Valor.
It is locked in a safe.
How I could steal it? I had the template of fucking Assane Diop, Neil Cathrey, and many others.
It wasn't hard to quickly come up with a good plan.
The first thing I did was to look at Jake's plan. That wasn't hard. His plan wasn't too secret.
I knew he would be breaking into Captain Holt's office in about three hours.
I looked more into Captain Holt's husband Kevin and found his work address as well as several phone numbers.
I called his phone and told him Captain Holt had an emergency at work and he would need to arrive in the precinct as soon as possible.
He of course arrived as soon as possible, but the timing would be pretty similar to Jake's time to try to steal the medal.
I delayed Kevin's arrival several times to let him coincide with Jake's plan.
When Kevin finally arrived Captain Holt immediately went out of the office towards Kevin. I rushed into the office from a vault and typed in the code of Captain Holt's vault.
I knew the code due to a small camera in a plant that stared toward Captain Holt's vault.
I took the Medal of Valor and replaced it with a similar copy. Only difference. On the back of the fake one was written.
"You have lost", It was written in Garamond. Captain Holt's favorite font.
After that, I immediately went out of the office and back into the vault. I looked back one last time and saw Captain Holt turning around probably realizing what was done and Jake opening the door of the office dressed as a janitor.
I hid in the vents after that and looked at the following events.
Captain Holt went back into the office and thought Jake was the one who planned this heist. He was still cautious nonetheless and looked at the vault. After seeing his medal of Valor was still there he went back to work again.
After that, I just laid back and watched the show.
Everything went as in the original.
My plan was fulfilling itself slowly.
After Jake was imprisoned by Captain Holt I looked at Jake's plan too blooming.
When Charles delivered the Medal of Valor to Holt I went behind him.
After Captain Holt opened the door and saw Charles I immediately squeezed through Charles and announced my victory.
"I have won!", I said proudly.
"You haven't", Jake said confused as to what my plan was.
"Look at the backside of the medal", I said.
Captain Holt immediately took away the medal from Charles and looked at the backside. After reading he just threw it at the curious Jake.
"FUCK! How did you do it?", Jake asked and Captain Holt was also listening.
"It was I who invited Kevin. While doing that I stole the real medal and let Jake be my scapegoat"
"You still don't win. You aren't from the precinct", Captain Holt said thinking he caught a mistake.
"Wrong again. Look at this. And remember I was in SScullyand Hitchcock's team", I said to them while giving them a copy of the contract.
Time steps forward about two hours later in the bar.
There Captain Holt and Jake announced something beautiful.
