Rosè who had tried to interfere was stunned at the person who was quicker than her.

"Danny?"she covered her mouth in shock.

Amelie on the other hand was still looking at Rosè's father in the eyes,her glare sharp and cold.She didn't react to Dennis's arrival at all.

Dennis pushed the arm and Rosè's father fell a few steps back.He was a bit taken aback at the young man's interruption and strength.

"Raising your hands against someone weaker than you?You don't deserve to be called a man!" he spoke with a strong accent.His usually quiet voice held a lot of suppressed anger.

Rosè's father finally discovered his identity.This was that ba***** his daughter wanted to marry.

"You even have the guts to show your face in front of me!You barbarian!"

Dennis just glared at him darkly.He usually wasn't the confrontational type and rarely got angry,but once you crossed the line things would get ugly.

"Barbarian?Coming from a man who was about to hit a woman?You're the real barbarian here you-you dog!"

Rosè's father had had enough of it and raised his fist to punch Dennis.

"That's enough!"a dignified voice was heard then a few men came in between them trying to separate Dennis and Rosè's father.If that punch had landed the situation would've turned into a crime scene.

When Rosè's father saw the owner of the voice,his face immediately changed and he instantly smiled.

"Mr.Yoxal!I'm glad you came!I was having a conversation with my daughter, and these two rouges are interfering and almost violated me!"

The two "rouges" looked at each other.Amelie shook her head in disappointment.Today,she had seen another low humanity could sink themselves into.

"You even dare to say this?!" This time Rosè was the one who reacted.

Aiden's grandfather just glanced at the people and sighed.

"Mr.Strowlger it would be good for you to take your leave.You've embarrassed yourself enough." his gaze was sharp and with a bit of contempt.

"B-b-but-" another glare from him and he immediately took away.

After her father left,Rosè went in front of Aiden's grandfather while taking Dennis with her.

"Mr.Yoxal,you are probably aware of who I am by now!I just want to clear this thing up myself!With all due respect, I'm going to have to reject the marriage with your grandson!Due to a misunderstanding, my grandfather agreed,but I am currently in a happy and healthy relationship with a promising future!I can't accept marrying another man,but the one by my side!" Rosè's eyes were full of sincerity and pleading.She held Dennis's hand tightly which he also clenched.

He then spoke with his steady and mature voice.

"Mister,I love this woman with my whole heart and soul and I can't let her go and marry someone else!" That determined gaze almost told Aiden's grandfather that if he didn't agree to cancel that arrangement,then he would definitely wreak havoc on the wedding day and would rob the bride on the altar.

Aiden's grandfather glanced behind and saw a girl who stood there quietly with determined eyes just like the couple in front of him.Though she was shorter and appeared younger,her gaze was more steady.He had seen the whole thing so he knew how this girl wouldn't hesitate to jump and take a hit for her friend.

He was already a bit aware of who she was.Suddenly he smiled.

"No,can't do."

What?The three young people were utterly confused.They thought he would back off since he seemed like a reasonable person,but he wasn't?

"Excuse me?"Dennis said with his brows furrowed.

"I can't back out."

"Why?"Rosè looked at him with a look of about to cry.

"Because I already decided,I can't just back out so easily. "Aiden's grandfather shrugged.

"Unbelievable!" this time Amelie's loud mumble was heard turning everyone's gaze towards her.She then got in front of Rosè and Dennis.

"Why exactly can't you back out sir?If you give us a proper reason then we might be able to give a solution to this problem."Being rude would make the situation worse so Amelie decided to be respectful.

Aiden's grandfather looked at her up and down and nodded a bit with satisfaction making Amelie slightly frown.

"Well,my grandson has to marry someone and among the candidates, your dear friend here seems the more suitable."

What's with this medieval mentality?The three young lings thought.

"Aren't there more suitable candidates?"

"Among the ones I've listed,no."

Amelie lowered her head in thought.

"But there is one way for me to refuse Miss Rosè as a candidate.Though,you might find it a bit hard."he smiled widely.

Amelie felt a bit of goosebumps at his smile.

"And that is?"

"If you,marry my grandson." Aiden's grandfather spoke matter of factly.

"What!" This time Amelie couldn't keep her composure.

Rosè and Dennis also exclaimed, the latter coming in front of Amelie as a protective measure.

"Can I have this conversation alone with the miss over lunch?" Aiden's grandfather looked up at Dennis,but he didn't back down.

"This is ridiculous!This is not happening!"

Rosè also wasn't quiet.

"This is my business so you should discuss it with me!You can't just give us marrying her instead of me as a way out!"

"You wanted a way out,I gave you one.I'm not who's desperate here,you two are." Aiden's grandfather shrugged as he spoke calmly.

"I agree with discussing this over lunch,but as for the marriage..." She didn't speak anymore.

"Ame!" Dennis raised his voice.

"Ame,you can't take the burden for me!No way I'm letting you do this!"

"It's just lunch,I haven't agreed to anything else yet." she said as she looked at the old man.

"Wise choice my child!" he then hit the ground with his cane."Well then,let's go!" he took out his arm as a gentleman for Amelie to take it.She hesitated for a bit,but took it anyway and headed for the restaurant.
