New me

When I was younger I used to hear people say new day new me and not just new year new me. I never really got what they mean, but today I woke up feeling like a different person.

I woke up with more energy than I usually do. Before, when I woke up I had little o no energy and had no expectations for the day. I woke up feeling complete as if I got something that was mine during the night.

I had an idea of what it was, so I tried it out. I closed my eyes and started to concentrate. I entered my mine space that had three lights. The first two I already knew I had, but the last one is new.

The lights are each one of my powers, and the closer I move to them the more details I can see. There are three different colors. A black one, a white one which is the new light, and a half black and half white one. If I move close to each light I get more details about my quirks.

If I go to the multicolor one I see that it has three smaller balls of lights of different sizes around it. This one represents my one-piece quirk. The main light is the quirk itself and the smaller lights are the by-products of it. The more master I have of the haki the bigger the light grows.

I left the color and went to the white light. When I got closer information entered my head. I was the information of my newest and last quirk. It told me What I already know including the different smells/gases I can use. It made a list appear it had the names of all the different smells/gases that I learned, but most were grayed out.

I only had five red things. It was the smell of a pine tree, the smell of burning fuel, the gas nitrous oxide, the smell of the rain, and the smell of shit.

While thinking about the things I can use more information came to my head. I can control the things like chemicals that make the smell/gas and can combine them. The better I can control my quirk the more smell I can use and the more things I can combine.

I noticed that I had Nitros oxid unlocked which is more commonly known as laughing gas. I can include it in my plan. I also have gas which means I can use some of the components to help me escape too.

I started to test out my new quirk by releasing the pine tree smell. I couldn't see any type of gas coming from me, but I could smell it. It was not very strong. I tried to make the smell stronger and it got a bit stronger, but it took more of my mental energy which seems to be the cost of it.

I played with it a bit more before trying out the combining option. I try it with rain and the pine tree. I took about 20% more mental energy and I got the smell of a wet forest. When I did it a new red word was added.

It says "Wet pine forest."

So I can unlock more smells by combining and not just by improving my quirk. I was about to try to mess with it more, but I suddenly felt tired. It seems that my mental strength ran out, so I decided to train my mental strength and tho unlock more smell for the next five days before my escape.
