End of part one

The ground shook, the animals scattered, the birds flew, and a beautiful explosion lit up the night sky. The building that used to be there was gone, and nothing but a crater remained.

A couple of hundred yards (around 200 meters) away from the edge of the crater you could see a metal hatch open. Out came Vanny, covered in soot and heavily injured.

"I didn't think I would survive. I am glad that the tunnel that I spent the last decade making worked. Too bad I only have a few years to live at best. I hope the big boss kicked the bucket."

"Kicked the bucked you said." A voice said from behind vanny. "Well, I hate to disappoint you, but as you can see I am perfectly fine."

Vanny turned around and the big boss was there. He went white as a ghost because there wasn't even soot on the boss.

"H-h-h-o-o-o-w-w-w are you not even hurt? That was enough TnT to blow a hole in Tartarus."

"You don't need to know. I was wondering why Doc told me that you asked him to not tell anyone that you have terminal brain cancer. It seems that since you were dying you decided to bring me with you. Too bad the only thing you did is cause my brother's plan to fail." The boss said annoyed.

"Your brother? I didn't know you had a brother. Since this means that you are working for your brother." Vanny mocked the boss after gaining some confidence.

"I don't work for him. He and I are in a partnership. You don't need to know more because you are about to die."

The boss killed Vanny before he had time to speak. The boss started to walk towards a helicopter that was landing in the distance while pulling out his phone.

"Hello." The person on the other side of the phone said.

"Hey, big bro. The American project failed. The seer blew up the base and everyone in it."

"It's fine. I was about to start the main plan anyway. I need you back here within the next week. Treat it as a vacation. Also, have you checked if the kid with the body quirk is dead? He could become a thorn in our side if he is alive."

"Don't worry I will have a team do a sweep of the area just in case."

"That's good. Also, Eric, don't have too much fun on your vacation."

"Don't worry. I will behave."

Eric hung up after saying that. "I can't wait till the start of the plan. I have been waiting many years for it to start. My business identity has been invited to a gathering of successful people in the non-hero world. I guess I can go there and have some fun. It has been a while since I relaxed. Hey pilots, head to the best tailor in America. I need to get a suit for the party." The copper flew up and towards the ocean, luckily away from the direction of our protagonist who was blissfully unaware of all that has happened in the short time he escaped.
