Sports Festival Part-1

A week quickly passed and the day of the sports festival arrived. The hype was immense and every single student who would be participating has trained their asses off.

The other students in class 1-A also improved themselves to get ready for this specific day and right now we all are inside the waiting room.

"Damn I'm so nervous and excited at the same time!" Kirishima shouted

"Yeah, and the waiting is even worse!" Mina said with the others agreeing.

Everyone was in their regular UA gym uniforms as they weren't allowed to wear their costumes. Most students were quite nervous, and the fact that the whole thing will be aired on TV didn't help either.

"Is everyone ready?! We'll be entering soon!" Iida said to everyone in the room.

"Yeah! I'm so pumped!" the invisible girl said.

Just then, Shoto walked up to Midoriya and declared that he was stronger than him. "I won't pry on your situation with All Might, but just know that I'm going to beat you." He said, looking straight at the green-haired boy who wasn't able to utter a single word.

"Hey! Why are you trying to pick a fight Todoro-" Kirishima tried to say, but was interrupted mid-sentence.

"I'm not finished yet," Shoto said as he glanced to the corner of the room where I am sitting.

I think it's clear that I'm the strongest in 1-A, just some emo kids like Bakugo and Todoroki can't digest that fact

"Izaya...you have taken out multiple villains and you have a powerful quirk as well I see you as the biggest obstacle here in my path to become the number one so I'll be defeating you as well," Shoto said, causing everyone to look at me.

It's good that he has confidence in himself but defeating me is out of the question, I'm gonna dominate this whole school event, today I'll show the entire world why telekinesis is the strongest quirk.

"If you want to give me a decent fight, then I expect you to use your other side," I said to todoroki looking directly into his eyes

"Oh? The two strongest in the class going at each other! This is exciting!" Denki said.

"But who do you think would win?"

"I think Izaya"

"But have you seen Todoroki's quirk?"

The students began to discuss amongst themselves afterward, that was until they were called up to the first-year stage.

"My heart is beating so much!" Mina said as they were walking.

"Yeah, my hand can't stop shaking." Tsuyu said.

"There's no need to be nervous, we'll do just fine!" Ochako said, trying to encourage the girls.

Everyone is nervous except me, It's not because I'm used to this kind of situation but I can calm my mind easily.

While we were walking the hallways we heard present mic's voice.

"HERE THEY ARE, THE CLASS THAT SURVIVED A VILLAIN ATTACK, FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF HEROICS CLASS 1-A"

We all were standing there while the audience cheered, there were pro heroes and civilians alike in the audience, everyone gathered here to witness the fighting capabilities of the future heroes.

Midoriya seemed nervous while Todoroki and Bakugo had an unchanging expression, while the others were clearly nervous

"We'll have to give it our best performance to impress everyone!" Iida said as their class was introduced.

"Wow! Look at all these people!" Toru said.

Jiro nodded her head in agreement. "This is definitely overwhelming." She said as she looked at the crowd that has gathered.

Present Mic started to introduce Class 1-B as well as the other departments that had students participating. After every participant has gathered.

After the introductions were done Midnight came up to the stage and cracked her whip, she introduced her and cementos and the roles they would play in the sports festival

Most of the men in the crowd starting cheering when they saw the R-Rated hero.

"Everyone be quiet!" Midnight shouted "Now Representing the students is Izaya Kurogami from Class 1-A, please come forward for the students pledge" Midnight said.

Oh shit, Now what should I do, should I encourage these canon fodders with a cringy speech or say something like what Bakugo said in the anime.

Anyways I decided to get this over with, I climbed the stage and asked Midnight

"What should I say"

"Anything that is supposed to encourage the students" she replied

"Why waste my energy on it when they are gonna lose to me anyway," I said and the others heard me since I kept the mic close to me intentionally

"What the heck did you say" Bakugo shouted from the crowds with Kirishima holding him back.

"Is this how the kids of 1-A are?" A 1-B student said

"Don't get too overconfident. We will show you who is the strongest in the matches" another cannon fodder said

"Looks like they are motivated for the upcoming match," I said to Midnight while going back to where my other classmates are.

"Well, that was certainly an interesting speech," Midnight said

"Anyways, since the students pledge is over let's get started right away" Midnight shouted

Behind midnight was a huge screen and there the first task will be shown.

"Now, the first task is an Obstacle course" Midnight yelled into the mic.

Midnight revealed that the first task would be an obstacle course, now how should I do this task, I have various ways to complete this one task, I don't want to show my teleportation to anyone and it's a very well know fact that telekinesis users can fly so just flying is also out of the question, now what should that would considered flashy.

While I was in my thoughts Midnight started explaining the rules of the obstacle course.

"As long as you stay on the course, it doesn't matter what you do! Take your places, everyone!"

As everyone was moving to the red starting gate that had 3 lit up green lights on top of it, Midnight shouted "Good Luck." to the students

"Are you ready" Midnight shouted in the mic to all the students who took their positions

"3...2...1"

"Start!!"
