33: Aftermath

I'm back baby! We finished our Research Defense! The hiatus officially ends!

Also...

I just want to clarify some things.

I'm not planning to have a Reincarnated Antagonist on this Fanfic or the Eleceed one. I was simply just testing the waters and see what the readers' reactions were.

And looking at the reactions, I'm going to abandon any plans for any Reincarnated Antagonists in the future, since I'm neither talented nor experienced enough as an Author to write something decent about it.

Anyway, this is the end of my note.

After the Hero Killer's speech, and after he lost consciousness, the Pro Heroes immediately called the Police and arrested the Hero Killer.

Though the murderer was put behind bars, the effects of his bloodlust on the Heroes were still lingering...

12 Hours Later...

"Is that true!? Has the Hero Killer really been arrested!?" asked a civilian.

"Yeah! Look!"

"Who did it!?"

"Endeavor, Some Pro Hero in the top '50s and his intern... Oh! His intern is The U.A's, Festival Winner!"

"Damn! That kid? And... Thank Kami, the Hero Killer's finally off the streets!"

Meanwhile in a hospital...

"Oi brat, you have a visitor." said a gruff voice.

"Good morning, I'm Chief of the Hosu Police, Tsuragamae Kenji. Ruff!"

"T-the Chief of P-Police!"

...

"I'm here regarding the Hero Killer incident..." told the dog-headed Chief, which made the children flinch.

"He sustained several burns, bone fractures, and other serious injuries. He is currently undergoing treatment for them, Ruff!" he told them.

He then continued, "I am very sorry to tell you but you have broken the law. Using your quirks without your guardian's permission or supervision is strictly against the rules brought upon by the government."

"This law was enforced because there are people who might use them for things that may harm themselves or others. An example of this is Vigilantism, Ruff!"

"But, moving on, you three have used your quirks without the supervision of your guardians. Even if your opponent was the Hero Killer himself, it is nevertheless, a violation of the rules. You three, along with your guardians will receive impartial punishment."

"Please! Sir Chief of Police, I will take on all the punishments! It's my fault they got dragged in this!"

"Iida-san, wait. Sir, if Iida hadn't attacked the Hero Killer, then two Pro Heroes would have died that night. If Midoriya hadn't arrived, then the three of them would have also died! Are you saying that we should have just followed the rules and let people die!? Saving... Saving people is what Heroes do! It's their job..." told Todoroki, while Midoriya was holding him back.

"Good grief, Ruff. This is why they call you "Golden Eggs". Your education at Yuuei and from Endeavor is hatching well..."

"You..."

"Todoroki-san, please listen to what he has to say!" said Midoriya.

"What I said earlier... That was my opinion as a Policeman. As for the rest of what I have to say... Well, at the end of the day, the punishment we're going to give you is an Official Full Disclosure, Ruff!"

"If you sign it, that would mean that no one can ever know of your decisions and amazing feats! The merit would be given to Endeavor and another Hero. Fortunately, the witnesses were extremely small, that's the only reason why we're able to go on with burying your violation like a bone in a yard, Ruff!"

"Thank you... And I'm sorry, Sir Chief..." said Todoroki.

"Thank you!"

A few lectures later...

"Midoriya-kun, Todoroki-kun, I really am sorry for getting you caught up on my shortcomings," said Iida with a bow.

"No, no, it's okay Iida-san!" replied Midoriya.

"It's alright, Iida-san." told Todoroki.

Since the students didn't suffer any lethal injuries, they were discharged after a few hours.

Coming out of the Hospital, they were greeted by Akira.

"So, you came after the Hero Killer to avenge your brother? It's an admirable reason, but the method you used to avenge him was wrong..." stated Akira which made Iida bow his head in shame.

"But what's important is that you learned a valuable lesson..."

One day later...

{Akira POV}

My Internship with Mr. Imprint was very informative.

It ended with us helping rebuild some of the buildings in Hosu City.

And regarding my mother...

A few hours earlier...

"Hello, sir."

"Hello, Doctor. How is she?" I ask.

"She is going to be all right. But, she suffered a blunt force head trauma and has gone into a coma. Though the coma will not be more than two to three weeks, we will still need to monitor her conditions." he stated.

"I... I see..."

"Visitors will be allowed tomorrow, sir. Have a good day," he told me as he bowed, and started walking away.

The next day...

"Yeah! My intern with Electra was so cool bro! Not only was she hot, she also gave me some tips about my quirk!" exclaimed Kaminari with raised fists.

"My intern also went great! Fourth Kind was... Well... He gave us some manly love, and Tetsutetsu from Class-B isn't that bad!" stated Kirshima.

"Same here but... Have you seen 'THE' video about Hero Killer: Stain?" said Sero.

"But speaking of the Hero Killer, is it true that you encountered him, Takumi-san!?" added Sero.

"Yes..."

...

"Yeah and... I dunno if it was tenacity or whatever but didn't you think he was kinda cool?" said Kaminari nervously.

"Kaminari...!" reminded Midoriya.

"Oh darn! I forgot! I'm sor-"

"It's okay, Kaminari-san... He was a man full of conviction, so I can understand if people find him "cool"." told Iida.

After a few minutes, Aizawa finally arrives.

"Good morning, class."

"Good morning, Aizawa-sensei!"

"Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki... I heard about what happened and... What you guys did was idiotic. Granted it came from somewhere good, but fighting someone who's killed dozens of Pro Heroes..." he told them with a red glare.

"Sigh. If it was up to me, you three would have already been expelled, but the principal has decided to give you another chance. But, that doesn't mean there won't be a punishment! See me after your class. You too, Takumi." told Aizawa.

"Understood, Aizawa-sensei."

I also wanted to talk to him as well.

And...

Even though I declared that I would be coming after them... I don't exactly know their location.

I have their general location, which is; a bar, and an abandoned factory...

Sigh.

Also... I have decided that I will expose their mole.

My decision will make some of my knowledge about the future, useless but... I've thought about some things and if we learn about their location earlier, then Shigaraki having AFO will possibly be avoided.

If All Might and AFO fight earlier, AFO will be weaker while All Might will still be full of energy, comparing him to his future self...

After some of the classes, we had lunch and after that, was the Battle Training.

After putting on our costumes, we went to Ground Y Gamma.

"HELLO! FOR I AM HERE!"

"Good afternoon, All Might-sensei!" greeted the class.

"GOOD AFTERNOON! IT'S BEEN A WHILE, BOYS AND GIRLS! IN GOOD SPIRITS, I HOPE!? ALRIGHT! TODAY, WE'LL BE DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT! IT'S RESCUE TRAINING RACE!" told All Might, as Iida raised his hand.

"YES, YOUNG IIDA?"

"If it's Rescue Training, then should it not be carried out in USJ?"

"IT WOULD BE IF IT WAS A "DISASTER" RESCUE! BUT THIS IS A RACE!

...

"THIS IS A COMPETITION TO SEE WHO CAN RESCUE ME FIRST! WHEN I'VE RELEASED THE DISTRESS SIGNAL, YOU ALL START!" laughed All Might.

"OH, AND OF COURSE, KEEP THE DAMAGE TO THE BARE MINIMUM~," told All Might while pointing his finger toward Bakugo.

"Don't fucking point fingers..." muttered Bakugo annoyingly.

...

"ALRIGHTO, STARTING GROUPS, TAKE YOUR POSITIONS!" shouted the Pro Hero from the speakers.

The starting group was composed of Midoriya, Iida, Ojiro, Mina, and Sero.

"I'LL RELEASE THE SIGNAL... NOW!"
