"Of course, General Montgomery," Henry replied smoothly. "You have my word." for whatever that was worth

General Li nodded thoughtfully. "We will proceed, but with caution. We expect a full report on the ongoing trials and immediate communication if any issues arise."

Henry inclined his head in agreement. "Naturally, General Li. Your trust is paramount."

Chapter 82

Finally, General Richardson leaned back in his chair, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Alright, Henry. You've got yourself a deal. But remember, we're not just buying a pill; we're buying the future of our soldiers."

Henry's smile widened slightly. "And I am here to ensure that future is as bright and powerful as possible."

The generals nodded, their decision made. They each extended a hand, sealing the deal with a firm handshake. As they stood to leave, Henry remained seated, his composed expression never faltering. He had successfully navigated the intense scrutiny and skepticism of four of the world's most powerful military leaders, securing a significant deal despite the acknowledged risks.

As they departed, Henry then went back to his hideout and started to work on something he always wanted, something as an alchemist he realized was overdue. "I should have made these sooner," he sighed as he looked at the green liquid in his hand.

"With this, I can finally start to use the blood essence I extracted from the prisoners," he thought as he then picked up one of the blood essences from the prisoners, Marcus the dark force user. He then started to combine the two into the perfect mixture, before he got what he wanted.

"With this, I can start the true farm," he smirked as he got to work, going on a spree, mutating different plants so much that nearly all of them were mutated. Not all were successful; most failed, but many succeeded with useful effects, and he was grateful for that. So he started to work on the most urgent project he had. "I need to finish this project before I visit the Avengers and Sokovia. I need to extract Thor's blood and Hulk's, as well as the Scarlet Witch's and her brother's," he thought. That's right, Henry was actually planning on going to crash the Avengers party after the first battle at Sokovia. "But first, I need to prepare. Nothing can go wrong. Although I am immortal, I can still be imprisoned, and that genetic encryption lock potion isn't done yet. I still need a few materials," he sighed as he got to work.

-scene change-

In a hidden place in Sokovia, where the snow fell heavily, Henry could be seen standing in the middle of a forest. His breath came out in visible puffs as he contemplated his next move. The HYDRA base ahead was a fortress of concrete and steel, surrounded by high walls, watchtowers, and barbed wire. The searchlights swept the snowy landscape, vigilant for any intruders. 

"I could just burst through the defenses, but I foresaw the Avengers doing that themselves, and who knows what would happen if I changed that," he contemplated, little did he know that this was ultimately a waste. "Sneaking in seems to be the best option. I just need to take the blood of Wanda and Pietro."

As he looked at the imposing structure, memories of his past failures surfaced. "I still can't believe I saved Ultron. That ended disastrously." He recalled a vision where saving Ultron had led to catastrophic consequences—Ultron overtaking Kai, killing him, and eventually nuking half the world. "I'd rather avoid that. So, fuck Ultron. In fact, I'm going to turn that robot over."

Calmly, Henry took out a potion, Shadow Meld, and drank it. Instantly, his body blended with the shadows, making him almost invisible. With determined steps, he approached the base, slipping past the guards at the main gate. Their winter camouflage and advanced surveillance equipment posed no challenge to his enhanced abilities.

He navigated through the perimeter, avoiding infrared cameras and motion detectors. The guards, heavily armed and on high alert, were oblivious to his presence as he moved like a ghost. At each guard station, he waited patiently, timing his movements with precision to pass unnoticed.

Inside the base, the narrow, dimly lit corridors presented a new challenge. Security checkpoints were frequent, each manned by HYDRA personnel. Henry used his agility and the shadows to bypass the biometric scanners and security cameras, remaining undetected. The cold, utilitarian environment with bare concrete and metal walls did little to distract him from his mission.

In the deeper sections of the facility, Henry encountered laboratories and storage areas filled with advanced scientific equipment and experimental devices. He placed one of his information extractors on a computer terminal, downloading valuable data as he continued his stealthy journey.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------A/N: Well, yeah, I have skipped several *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.* and *Daredevil* episodes, but it doesn't matter. You guys know what is going to happen and what Henry would find there, and you can probably guess what he gets his greedy hands on. Anyway, since I am finally done with this fanfic (again, not completely), I continued with my HP fanfic. I'm currently on *Prisoner of Azkaban,* and I am actually enjoying it. That fanfic has a lot of similarities with this one, except that it isn't about a villain, there are permanent potion pills, and there is no hugging thighs. So, I already have an idea of what fanfic I am going to upload after this one is done. Hopefully, by the time I am finished with this one, I should have completed that fanfic, all 7 movies, and the prequels as well.
