Chapter 7

Finally the bell went off which means that todays class has now come to an end. I heaved a breathe of relieve and started packing my books into my bag pack. I never thought that I'll be so glad for today to end, it's weird because I've literally been thinking about today through out summer. Although I had no idea that today was gonna be a hell of a rollercoaster. So yeah, I think I'm justified.i met up with Jasmine and Tristan in the hallway. We talked for a bit and they agreed to escort me home .

"Bye guys" I said

"Bye Talia" Jasmine and Tristan chorused

I walked to sidewalk before reaching the front door, I turned the door knob with shaking fingers. The door gave way and i went it in. I immediately recognized the aroma of my mom's delicious homemade apple pie which turns out to be my favorite.

"Mom" I called

"Hello dear, how was school today and how did they treat you" Catherine said

"School was hectic but, yeah it was okay for a first day"
