Escape

Sebastian extended his hand, and a powerful shockwave burst forth, hurtling towards Alex and Eric's mother.

Sebastian unleashed the kinetic energy that Eric had recently hurled at him.

"Stop..."

Eric bellowed and clasped his hands together. Numerous metal objects around him responded to his magnetic control, forming a formidable metal shield to intercept the incoming attack.

"Boom!"

The violent impact felt like a barrage of cannonballs, shattering the continuous rain curtain, sending debris flying and mud splattering.

Eric, struck by this tremendous force, was sent hurtling through the air, eventually crashing to the ground, leaving a long furrow in the muddy earth.

"Sever your connection with the lower races, and you'll discover your true self. Believe me, this is for your own good."

Sebastian cast a cold glance at Eric, raised his palm once more, and aimed it at Alex and Eric's mother.

"Alex, defeat him! Defeat him!"

Although Eric was still reeling from the previous shock, his mouth bleeding and body aching, he urgently cried out to Alex upon seeing Sebastian target his mother again.

"Alex? Who is he?"

Sebastian momentarily faltered, then smiled and shook his head. He extended his arms, speaking calmly, "Here, I am the boss, and no one can defy me."

"Is that so? I beg to differ! You are just an asshole"

Alex sneered coldly giving Sebastian the middle finger.

With a flick of Alex's middle finger a tank parked by the concentration camp wall instantly twisted and morphed, becoming a solid steel sphere hurtling towards Sebastian.

"Huh? You possess this kind of power too? Well, isn't that a surprise!"

Sebastian appeared unfazed by Alex's attack, his attention still fixed on Alex with astonishment.

The steel sphere impacted Sebastian, but for him, it merely absorbed some kinetic energy, causing no harm whatsoever.

Sebastian had discovered a new Mutant, one with abilities akin to Eric's, and this discovery intrigued him greatly.

Then... he was ensnared!

With a resounding clang, the incoming steel sphere abruptly unfurled like a cocoon, encasing Sebastian within a thick metal shell, leaving only his head exposed.

"Uh?"

Sebastian was taken aback, now trapped in this metallic mass.

Alex, who was familiar with the storyline, wasn't surprised. He knew precisely what to do next.

"Can this actually happen?"

Eric was dumbfounded as he observed the astonishing scene unfolding before him. In an instant, he couldn't help but berate himself for his sheer lack of foresight.

"Sebastian, greetings!"

Alex approached the metallic sphere with a cheerful smile on his face. He extended his hand to retrieve a strand of Sebastian's hair, then turned around to help Eric and his mother to their feet. With a casual wave, he bid Sebastian farewell.

"Farewell, Sebastian!"

Sebastian could only watch helplessly as the trio made their daring escape from the perilous Nazi concentration camp. Despite his unique ability to absorb and release kinetic energy, his powers were still at the level of an ordinary person. Encased in a steel prison, he found himself powerless to break free.

Yet, Sebastian's constant release of kinetic energy posed a vexing challenge. The iron ball that confined him wouldn't hold him for long, so he had no choice but to make a swift getaway. After all, he lacked the means to eliminate Sebastian at this moment.

Alex promptly placed Sebastian's hair into the gene collection system, initiating the rapid gene analysis process.

"Ding, genetic components detected. Should they be collected?"

"Collect," Alex affirmed decisively. With this newfound ability, he was effectively impervious to bullets or artillery shells. In this perilous Marvel universe, his chances of survival had significantly improved.

"Alex, why didn't you eliminate him?" Eric inquired with a puzzled expression as he and Alex escaped the concentration camp together.

"His power revolves around the absorption and release of energy. I can't eliminate him at the moment. Besides, I can't keep him contained for long," Alex replied somberly. He was well aware that there were various methods to eliminate Sebastian, such as suffocation, poisoning, or even psychic powers.

However, Alex hesitated. His primary advantage lay in his familiarity with the storyline. What if killing Sebastian altered the course of events? Would his advantage disappear if the narrative shifted?

That's why Alex opted not to terminate Sebastian. Since he had no intention of killing him and had merely ensnared him in a metal sphere, Sebastian wouldn't remain imprisoned for an extended period. As long as he continued absorbing and releasing energy, the metallic prison would eventually rupture.

"We must make our escape swiftly; the metal sphere won't detain him for long," Alex urged.

Together, Alex and Eric commandeered the metal, rescued Eric's mother, and soared into the sky. They flew far away from the concentration camp, leaving their dangerous ordeal behind.
