Marvel: The Gene Collector

Alex, a seemingly ordinary guy, woke up one fateful day to find himself in a perplexing situation. He had been inexplicably transmigrated into the body of a teenager who shared his own name, Alex, but with a heart-wrenching twist – this Alex had perished in the unforgiving confines of a Nazi concentration camp. As the bewildered Alex tried to make sense of his surreal circumstances, a chance encounter with a boy known as Eric, who also bore the alias of Magneto, thrust him into a world beyond his wildest imagination. To Alex's astonishment, dormant within him was a unique genetic collection system, a latent power that had awakened with his newfound identity. It allowed him to wield an unparalleled advantage in his new world. As long as Alex could obtain a strand of the target's hair or any sample of their DNA, he possessed the uncanny ability to replicate and even enhance their extraordinary talents. With every strand of DNA he collected, Alex's powers grew, and the stakes soared ever higher. In this intricate dance of powers and principles, Alex's journey promised to be an electrifying tale of transformation, redemption, and the relentless pursuit of power and justice in the marvel universe where the extraordinary was the norm. But one profound question always troubled in his mind. "What will happen if I tie up Sebastian Shaw and throw him into an aquarium."

Apology

Alex tossed the kettle aside, fixing a glare on Charles. "Figured you weren't here with good news."

Charles coughed, attempting to defend himself. "Actually, I do have good news."

"Good news? Your visits usually spell trouble," Alex muttered.

Charles pressed on, "I'd like you to consider taking in a few Mutants this time, Alex."

"Mutants? I'm not running an orphanage," Alex stated firmly.

Seeing Charles' serious expression, Alex realized his friend was earnest about the Mutants.

"Come on, Alex," Charles persisted.

"Fine," Alex snapped.

"Hey, Alex, can you not be so... dismissive?" Charles chided.

"Dismissive? After everything?" Alex shot back.

Surprised, Charles apologized, "Sorry, Alex, I overstepped."

"Alright, let's move past it," Alex shook his head.

Nick Fury joined the conversation, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Alex. Pleasure to finally meet you."

"You're Nick Fury? Well, you've made a decent first impression. We can chat more when I've got the time," Alex replied with a smile.

"Delighted," Nick Fury nodded.

Alex had thought that Fury was a tough nut to crack, but he seemed pretty chill now, like any other guy.

"And what might your name be, beautiful?" Alex tipped his straw hat and offered a gentlemanly nod to Carol.

"Carol Danvers, but you can call me Carol, or Ms. Marvel," she replied with a smile.

"Nice name. How about grabbing dinner together sometime?" Alex asked.

"Sure thing, Alex. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're here on serious business this time," Charles said, his smile fading.

"Alright, no more jokes. Let's head in," Alex said, putting an end to the banter and leading the way inside with Charles.

Alex used my Psychokinesis to pour tea for everyone, then turned to Charles and asked, "So, what's the deal? Why are you here?"

"Just like I said before, we need you to take in a few mutants," Charles explained.

"But this is my family's estate, and it's mostly women here. Bringing in these troublemakers might not be the best idea," Alex objected.

"Their crimes are minor, and they're seeking redemption. Besides, since you've got mostly women here, why not hire them as bodyguards?" Charles suggested.

"Do you even know what they can do? With their abilities, they don't need bodyguards. If we're talking about protection, I know just the guy. Tony, get down here!" Alex called out to his friend upstairs.

"What's up?" Tony hurried downstairs. He'd been crashing here for a few days, finding it peaceful and tidy. No one bothered him, which was just how he liked it.

He's even contemplating whether to buy the manor next to Alex and live nearby. Despite the allure of the big city, the air pollution and noise levels are just too much.

In the suburbs, however, there's no inconvenience to worry about. With Charles School nearby, there are plenty of shops in the vicinity.

"I have a few new bodyguards assigned for you," Alex mentioned casually.

"Bodyguard? But I am safe here," Tony replied, puzzled, as he grabbed a bottle of Coca-Cola.

"Our family business is in your hands now. If you don't return to oversee things, it could lead to some unfortunate consequences," Alex added nonchalantly.

"Uh-huh," Tony muttered, looking sulky. He knew his father would come to fetch him eventually.

"Hey, Tony," Nick Fury greeted with a nod. Being one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.L.D., Howard's son was someone he needed to meet.

"Do we know each other?" Tony asked, giving Nick Fury a perplexed look.

"I knew your father, and I have to say, you're the spitting image of him in every way," Nick Fury remarked with a smile.

"Whether it was narcissism or just plain genetics, the resemblance between father and son was undeniable. Tony had inherited all of Howard's qualities flawlessly." Alex mused.
