Yozora's Domain.

"Was it alright not to tell him?", A worried voice reached out to a plum-haired woman's ears who had very fluffy fox ears sticking out of her head. This woman was calmly sitting on that throne-like seat of hers. She was currently observing a large looking glass of sorts, which had a very cute appearance as well. At the top of the looking glass also had two etched fox-like ears poking out.

"Oh hush now. It was just a little lie. It won't impact things. There was a ten year gap without much to do, so I brought him into the start of the story that he wanted to partake in. Being able to experience it as his new life develops will help him grow at a faster pace. I am curious who this Wolverine fellow is. Apparently he is going to flee the estate he is currently being raised in to join a pack of wolves. There is a high chance he will encounter him.", Yozora responded, easing the golden-auburn haired girl's doubt. She too was standing nearby, observing the looking glass Yozora was currently using.

What was displayed on it was a vast, wintry forest which carried pine trees one after another. Many pine cones could be seen scattered across the snow-packed ground. Every so often, a howl belonging to a wolf could be heard from further within the forest. Each time the howl happened, the ears of the little figure currently spotted in the center of the looking glass twitched, causing his head to move to a particular direction, before resuming his current task at hand.

In particular, the two saw a massive pine tree which overlooked the rest of the forest around it. It was two to three times taller in height, and its trunk was two to three times wider in width. If one zoomed in on the looking glass, a fox, who was no more than a foot or two in length, could currently be seen furiously scratching away with claws currently set ablaze, tearing through the trunk of the massive pine tree before him.

The fox only claws through the edges of it, being careful not to set the tree on fire. His handiwork with his claws was meticulous. Doing this in combination with his burrowing Skill helped speed up the process.

The golden-auburn fox girl standing next to Yozora looked on with interest. The onyx-colored fox before her was digging into the base of the tree as if his life depended on it. Taking another moment to observe him, the fox girl then turned her head to look at Yozora before she spoke out to her.

"Still, I didn't think he'd unlock his own foxfire this early. You did something, didn't you?", The fox girl said, squinting her eyes at Yozora.

"It was just a little push darling. Mutated creatures are going to start popping out left and right in the coming times. He needs all the preparation he can get. That world is very different from ours. It has no Yokai or Cursed Spirits. Instead, it has Mutants, Enhanced Beings, and even alien life.", Yozora replied with an earnest interest. Even she was drawn to what the MCU had to offer, compared to the primary earth she observed from afar.

"Mutants and aliens huh? Those sound like nothing but a pipedream in the world where I'm at.", The fox girl mused.

"Ufufu, you have enough on your plate though, right? You've finally found the person you were looking for, Senko-chan?", Yozora asked, shifting her gaze back to the fox girl beside her.

"Indeed. I fear I will be too busy now to come check in on you, Sora-dono. Please try not to mess things up too much during my absence, alright?", Senko replied with worry in her eyes.

"No promises. If anything, it will be up to him to see if any changes in causality will take place. That world's power scaling is on a much higher scale than ours. It's very possible it will bleed into my domain. I need to make sure there are countermeasures for anything that may arise unexpectedly.", Yozora spoke in a serious tone. Her gaze shifted back toward the cute little fox.

A large hole could now be seen inside the base of the trunk. Curled up into a little fluff ball of fur, his tail now rested over his body, reaching his face.

"That sounds worrisome.", Senko replied with a frown over her lips.

"Worry not. You go have your fun in your world alright? I'll continue to watch things from here.", Yozora said in confidence, trying to ease Senko's worry.

"Understood. I will take my leave then, Sora-dono. If you'll excuse me.", Senko replied, doing a light bow at the four-tailed fox before her. Yozora gently nodded her head, but that single motion still caused her large cleavage to bounce in place.

The golden-auburn fox girl proceeded to depart. Instead of heading back into the large shrine in the distance, she seemed to wander off into the one of many torii gates, leaving Yozora's Domain entirely.

As Senko left, Yozora's gaze remained fixed on her looking glass, which was still fixated on the inside of the large pine tree. The hole wasn't anything massive yet, but it was large enough to let the onyx-colored fox stay inside of it.

"You've exceeded my expectations, my little fox~. It's only been half a day, but you have progressed enough that your first evolution isn't far off now. I wonder, do you have what it takes to achieve a large lifespan just like mine?", Yozora mused, before she did a swing of her hand. The looking glass suddenly vanished, as if it departed into the abyss. It was just her now, gazing upon the endless torii gates in the land around her...

Back to Earth-10005.

Outskirts of Cold Lake, Alberta.

Year 1896.

Inside a no-named forest that stretched onward for miles without any end in sight.

Miles could now be seen burrowed into a giant pine tree that overlooked all of the other ones in the vicinity he was at. He saw no nearby threats so he figured it was ripe for the taking. After making a large enough hole that didn't ruin the tree's foundation, Miles heard a notification echo in his mind, causing him to smile.

[Ding! Host has completed a new Mission - A New Home]

That's right. Miles wound up getting a second Mission while his first Mission was put on pause with the remaining Geese flock now in another part of Cold Lake. They will return eventually. Miles knew more Missions would come and go, and sure enough, he got his second one. It triggered the moment he entered this vast forest.

Using some time of the night, he carved away at the largest tree he could find. Its size was definitely bigger than the rest. He could hear wolves howling here and there in the far distance, but they didn't seem close enough for Miles to intrude on. With no close threat nearby, Miles concluded this tree was available, as he previously stated.

Miles didn't know that his carving of the tree's base was monitored by Yozora, but Yozora soon stopped watching him after his home was completed. It was only by making enough space inside the tree that the notification said the mission was complete

It wasn't just that notification either. A couple of his Skills received some proficiency from his actions. Miles took a moment to see everything that had leveled up while he created his home.

A/N: What do you readers think of this structure to cut down on system text?

When Miles began carving into the tree, he imagined his claws getting set ablaze again. Doing that the first time resulted in creating Smoldering Claws, which counted as an Attack Skill. But he wasn't attacking the tree, simply carving it away as if he was putting a blowtorch against it. The trunk was singed with fire, but Miles made sure to not destroy its foundation. He just carved a big enough hole that he could freely walk in and out.

Miles didn't go too deep with burrowing either. Only three feet across and four feet in. It suited his size for the time being. But if Miles grew larger, he could find staying here uncomfortable.

Since Miles carved out the entrance, it was left in-tact, acting as a door. He could cover the trunk up, making the tree whole again. Doing this could potentially lead hunters astray from finding his whereabouts, letting him safely rest during the nights.

It made the tree similar to a house, but Miles scoffed at the idea of making one. He just made it big enough for him to live in. He didn't have to worry about any interior decorating or the likes. It was just a plain, simple hole that had a cover over it.

It also blocked the cold wind from entering his new little home too, even though it did act like a gentle breeze that struck against his body. Feeling that for the entire night wouldn't bode well.

Before Miles knew it, he curled up into a little furball. His tail swooped over his body, gently resting against his head. Tucking his head closer toward his body, Miles entered a sleeping position. He didn't go to sleep yet though.

As his body started to grow warmer from cuddling up inside the tree, Miles's attention was soon drawn to the Mission he had completed not too long ago. He started to see what rewards were in place for him as the howling winds outside created a constant echo that blasted against the tree...
