As he disappeared, Andrew stood still.

He could not understand precisely what was happening but knew one thing.

He can have his revenge.

As Andrew looked at the Mark given by the outsider, a panel of sorts popped into his eyes.

There were two tabs on it.

One had Abilities, and the other had inventory.

Other than that, above the panel, he could see two things. Health and Mana both show 100%.

He moved his hands to select the Abilities tag but could not as his hand passed through it.

He then focused on Abilities, and the screen faded out and faded in, showing different abilities.

The first one on the left was lit in white, whereas the rest faded out.

He looked at the brightly lit one and focused on it.

The screen again faded in and faded out, showing the skill.

[Blink – Blink allows the user to traverse mid-sized distances instantly. Mana Cost – 20%]

Below the Blink, there was a tree-like structure.

Andrew first looked towards the left side of the tree.

[Tier 1 – Move up to 30 meters. 0/2 Runes. Can be upgraded as efficiency increases.]

[Tier 2 – Move up to 40 meters.]

As he saw the tree, it kept increasing the distance.

The next thing he saw was the middle layer.

[Tier 1 – Mana Cost reduced by 2%.]

There were ten below it, and each had the same runes required to be 5 for all of them. Another method was to use the Blink N number of times.

The third part made Andrew's eyes light up.

[Tier 1 – Slow Time as you use Blink. 0/10 Runes]

[Tier 2 – Stop Time as you use Blink. 0/25 Runes]

'Runes? He told me to find him, and I suppose he will explain. Most likely, it is like an item in those games that allows its player to increase their strength or abilities.'

After seeing this, he went back to look at the abilities of the rest.

He was not able to.

He was only able to see the name of every ability.

Far Reach, Displace, Dark Vision, Foresight, Devouring Swarm, Possession, Semblance, Bend Time, Mesmerize, Windblast, Shadow Kill, Summon Assassin, Pull, Arcane Bond, Domino, Doppelganger, Whisper, Void Strike, Regeneration, Void Resurrect, Vitality, Blood Thirsty, Strength, Intelligence, Agility, Reflexes, Dexterity.

A/N: I will be adding new abilities as well, and I request the readers to provide abilities as well. Regeneration, Void Resurrect, Intelligence, and Dexterity are added by me. I will describe it in the future, but I can tell you all will understand.

Andrew mentally commanded the screen to disappear, and it faded out.

But the Health and Mana were showing still.

He then saw his surroundings and could see different rocks, more like huge stones, entirely in a Dark Bluish black colour, floating in the space. The wind was blowing, and he could see some dark particles moving along. The whole area was in a mystic blue colour, bringing the feeling of void.

He then moved to the edge of where he was standing and was commanded mentally to use blink.

As he did that, his mark started to glow, and he could see a white cylindrical shape in the distance.

'This is how Blink works? A point that shows where I can go. What if I was in the air and were to fall, and I used Blink? Will it neglect the damage, or will it increase it due to suddenly landing?'

As Andrew was contemplating, he willed to use Blink.

He then disappeared from where he was and appeared at the point where the Blink showed him.

He felt as if he had just taken a step. That's all he felt. He did not feel anything else.

He did not feel any discomfort.

He saw the amount of Mana decrease as well. But within a few seconds, it was back to full.

'In time, the Mana will regenerate. I now use 20% of Mana, which can regenerate independently. The limit, for now, is 20%; I have to test it with the others.'

Andrew then started to run and jump in the air and used Blink as he was in mid-air to the next floating area.

As he reached his point, he rolled before he came to a stop.

'It does not stop the movement that was taking place.'

He started to look around before he went to the next area.

He did not know where he had to go.

He could see some throne in the space.

'That should be the place'

Andrew then used Blink as he soon reached where the throne.

When he reached there, he saw something placed on the throne.

'Runes?'

As he thought, The Outsider appeared again.

"They are what you will need to increase the power of your abilities, Runes. Shrines like this will be the universe you live in worldwide. Find them and get the Runes to increase your powers," said The Outsider.

"Universe?" Andrew asked.

"Your world is much more than you think. I want to see what you will do after you get your revenge. Will you kill yourself after your revenge, or will the desire to live and explore increase as you experience things that you never had, or will you become Power Hungry in pursuit of your revenge"

'Revenge is the only thing I want. After that, I will kill myself to join my wife and daughter.*

"Here, have this."

As the Outsider said, an object appeared in the hands of the Outsider.

It was red and was beating like a heartbeat.

But he could hear two different beats.

"This will help you in knowing the secrets of every being in the universe, their thoughts; it will tell you all of them, you can mentally command it to tell what a person is thinking at the moment, and it will dig deeper as you keep doing it. When you squeeze the heart, it will whisper secrets directly into your mind as it will sense everything around you beyond your recognition."

As he said that, the heart floated towards me, and I took it in my hand.

'All of them?'

He commanded the heart to listen to what the being in front of him was thinking.

{"He is looking forward to what you will do when you recognize the voice of the Heart Whispers"}

Andrew kneeled the second he heard the voice in his mind.

He broke down as tears started to drop from his eyes, and pain assaulted his entire being.

"Emma," he uttered.

How could he forget the voice of his wife? Emma, the one who lighted his entire world.

Before he could even yell,

"Daddy"

"Isabella…"

He started to yell his daughter's name.

He calmed down after who knows how much time had gone.

The Outsider was watching everything, and even he felt pity for him.

"Andrew"

Andrew turned to look at The Outsider.

"I will be watching everything. I will look forward to what you will do, whether you let the ones you want to end live and destroy their lives or you will kill them. I am looking forward to it."

Andrew thought the Outsider was going to disappear, but he stopped.

"I have added something to your abilities, which will be my last gift. Good Luck."

As he said that, Andrew felt his entire being be ejected from the Void he was in.

He closed his eyes, and once he opened them, he was back in the cell.

When he saw the mark still on his left hand, he knew everything that happened was real.

Andrew also saw that the Rune was next to him and took it in his hand.

He then mentally commanded the screen to appear and made it directly move to the Abilities Tab.

Once he did that, the Dark Vision was half lit up.

He selected that and saw the details of the ability.

[Dark Vision: It allows us to see beings and objects of importance through walls while also visually alerting them to the noises they make. Mana Cost: 20%]

He saw the same thing similar to Blink. The Dark Vision also had a tree-like structure below it. One part increases the distance and provides more things that can be seen, the middle part reduces the Mana Cost, and the Final part is surreal.

It could predict the movement of everyone. It can tell the beings' future and what they will do next. To put it simply, Premonition.

He then used the rune to unlock the Dark Vision and used it.

He could then see-through walls, and he was able to see what was in the next cell. There was a prisoner in it, glowing in yellowish-red colour. He could not see the face properly, as Andrew could only see the back of the prisoner.

Besides that, he could see some stones and a plate as well. It allowed him to look at anything within 20 meters, with him as the center.

'He told me he gave me another gift'

Andrew saw something that made his heart beat faster while going through the Abilities.
