my first magic

mom "Malex food is ready!!"

Malex "Okay, mom!!"

I finish getting dressed, and then I walk into the bathroom, and I splash some water on my face. I look into the mirror. my hair is eye length (curly).

Brown and my eyes are brown, too. I'm not the best in looks, but I'm definitely not that bad. I walk into the kitchen and eat breakfast.

mom, "your dad is waiting in the car for you."

Malex "Okay, mom."

mom, "Have a good day at school."

I absolutely hate that word, school. I don't hate it because of learning, nor am I bad at it. I just get bullied and made fun of every time I go there.

after school

I walk outside and I look for my mom's car but I don't see it, so I call her.

mom "hello."

Malex "hey. are you picking me up today?"

mom "no. I'm sorry you'll have to walk home."

malex "okay, mom."

mom, "Okay, be careful. by love you."

Malex "by love you too."

dang it, I'll have to walk home, I hope I don't run into Nelson. I walk on the sidewalk going towards where my road is when all of a sudden, I am jerked to the side and pulled against a wall.

Nelson, "hey nerdy boy. what are you doing down here?"

Malex "I'm just trying to walk home. Will you let me, please?"

Nelson "no can do, buddy"

then, right after he says that, he gives me a right hook right in the jaw. I hit the ground hard. everything is blurry and shaky. Nelson lifts me up.

Nelson, "How did that feel?"

I decided to take my chance while I had it. I spit in his face.

Nelson "dammit. I'll kill you for that!!!"

he holds me with his left arm and then starts hitting my stomach with his right over and over again. I caint breath at all. when he is finished, he throws me to the ground again.

Nelson "I'm going to kill you this time, nerdy boy!!"

Nelson starts to walk towards me, and when he does, I lift my arm up for protection. It was an instinct. out of nowhere, a wind bullet the size of a hornets nest shoots out of my hand and hits Nelson right in the stomach, making him fly back and hit the wall with a crunch my mind is going a million miles a second, so I just run thinking it's the only thing I can do.
