Magic Swordsman In One Piece (D&D)

Two unfortunate boys, one from Earth and one from one piece. One of them wants vengeance the other wants justice. With the help of an omnipotent being, they become one. Let us see if their unfortunate lives are going to turn for the better or if it is going to be a life of misery and hardship. A/n: in this fan-fic, I am going to change people's age to fit my story. So it is going to be a bit of an AU. The system is not going the have an ego. The Sword Saint is a D&D magus subclass, and it is NOT a cultivation class. I am not going to follow D&D rules and class spells, Mc's class was inspired by D&D, but I can go beyond D&D rules and get spells from different classes or create other spells. I can only guarantee one chapter a week. Mc is not going to be a straw hat and not going to take a straw hat as a companion. Disclaimer: I don't own One Piece; it belongs to its respective author.

CHAPTER 47

It had been over a week, and they had almost recovered. Kreegan could do but marvel at the bodies of humans in the One-Piece universe. If they had gotten those wounds on Earth, they would be dead or would need a year to heal at the very least, but in this universe, all they had to do was eat. They had to eat like a fucking elephants, and they recovered in a week.

Even Lex had recovered from all that muscle loss and was as buff as ever. Kreegan was ready to leave, but Lex didn't want to leave. He was practically begging him to look for the treasure. Since Kreegan had shot a Ray of Ice spell at the talking bat, he had never seen him, but he still didn't want to do what he wanted.

"Come on, Kree, where is your sense of adventure? You are the first person I have ever seen that would turn down a treasure hunt."

It was not like Kreegan didn't like a treasure hunt. On the contrary, he liked it, but it was so apparent to him. Something bad was going to happen. If he knew he was going to reincarnate in the One-Piece universe, he would have watched the fillers and the movies too. He always considered them a waste of time because the canon story never goes forward in those movies or episodes. That is why he doesn't know anything about this place.

"Come on, man; there is only one guardian left. Let's go see what this treasure is. If I could beat the guardian by myself, I wouldn't ask for your help; you buzz killer."

"I am not a buzz killer, I like treasure hunts too, but this doesn't feel right."

"Chicken shit."

Kreegan turned and looked at Lex without blinking.

"Bwak, bwakk, baaawk, you chicken shit."

"You are so mature, Lex. It is really classy."

"Bwak, bwakk, baaawk"

"Stop acting like a child."

"Stop acting like a buzz kill."

"We almost died."

"We didn't, did we, and I have more control over my devil fruit power. Now fighting the final guardian would be easier."

Kreegan released a heavy sigh and said,

"Okay, let's go to the damn mountain and look for the treasure. Why do you want this treasure anyway?"

"I told you before I don't care about the treasure, you can have it. What I care is to be able to explain this hole in the middle of the ocean, and the thrill of a treasure hunt is all I care."

"You know curiosity killed the cat, right?"

"Hahah, hilarious, such an original joke."

...

POV MC

We didn't know what the last guardian was. The only reason we knew there was a third one was because of the native legends. The Mountain of the Gods has three guardians in their tales, and they protect a miraculous treasure. Nobody knows what that treasure was. Captain Joke and his men climbed the mountain five years ago, but no one returned.

The natives believe they awakened the wrath of the gods, so the guardians came out of the mountain. The last guardian is most likely an amphibious creature like the other ones. It is either a coastal animal or, like the octopus, can live out of water for some time. I should definitely take a Vanish for sneak attacks and Corrosive Touch in case this one has a powerful carapace like the Lobster. I need Expeditious Retreat for speed, and for my final level 1 spell, I am going to take Flame Burst. I have thought of a new technique for high-defense enemies. Cat's Grace for the level 2 spot, as usual.

...

POV THIRD PERSON

Kreegan and Lex had reached the entrance to the mountain caves. The brat Hamu and Meroie wanted to come with them, but Kreegan refused and told them right to their face that they would be nothing but a hindrance to them. Lex rushed in excitedly, and Kreegan followed soon after with a deep sigh.

The cavern was filled with hieroglyphs, and Lex studied the drawings on the wall with the kerosene lamp in his hand. They were slowly starting to go deeper, and there was no sign of the 3rd guardian. The inside of the cave was huge. It was about 8-9 meters high and just as wide. Our duo had been wandering around the cave for about half an hour; they were always on the alert for an attack.

They had to be always on the alert inside these dark caverns, and moving like this was mentally draining. Just then, a big uproar came from behind them. It sounded like a landslide, like a giant rock was rolling, and at that moment, they saw it.

"Oh, come on!"

Kreegan turned to Lex and said,

"Lex, I hate you!"

They both started to run like hell, and a seven-meter sea urchin was rolling after them. Lex was running while laughing,

"Now we know what the third guardian is."

"If we live through this, I am going to kill you."

While running, Kreegan pulled both of his swords and swung them with great force.

"Jolt, Nanajuni Pound Ho (72 Pound Phoenix)"

Spiraling sword energy flew towards the beast while weak lightning magic was crackling around it. It crushed onto its giant needle and slowed it down a bit. The flying sword attack had left a scorch mark on the needle and was a bit deformed. From this attack, Kreegan concluded the defense of this beast was lower than the Lobster, and if they were in an open area, he could kill this one easily, but in these caves, it was going to be hard. Lex turned into a full tiger and said,

"Hop on."

...

The sounds of fighting were coming from inside the cave, and this sound was getting louder with each passing moment. The bat was waiting on top of a big skeleton. His eyes were shining with anticipation. This skeleton was lying at the foot of a great temple. This temple looked like the temples of the Incas. The temple looked like a pyramid in the form of stacked blocks, and from the middle of this pyramid, a great staircase went all the way to the very top. At the top of the temple was a fountain, and inside this fountain, something was glowing with a crimson light. The bat said,

"Soon, soon everything will be mine. Hahaha!"

He looked at all the ripped-apart skeletons and said,

"You all betrayed me and died at the hand of the guardians, but now everything is going to be mine."

Right at this moment, the guardian came crashing down through the caverns while following our duo. The guardian was a bit hurt. Some of its needles were broken, but it was still able to roll around. Kreegan and Lex looked exhausted from all the fighting and running they had to do.
