Marine Base, Shells Town, East Blue:-

" Hey, are you okay? " Seeing Luffy who had eaten so many bullets for him, Zoro couldn't help but yell at him with worry.

Luffy's mouth curled up and he said softly, " Chill bro, i am alright. These bullets won't be able to harm me. " Then he snapped his fingers and the bullets were bounced back.

Although Zoro couldn't see anything because Luffy was blocking his view, but the rest of them have seen everything.

All the bullets were stopped in mid-air by an invisible wall from the start and just now as he snapped his fingers the bullets lost their momentum.

It was Luffy's Devil Fruit power.

Luffy ignored the shocked reactions. Then he turned around asked Zoro, " How about this? Join my crew and admit me as your captain. Then i will take you with me. " Hearing him Zoro didn't speak, just laughed.

Luffy didn't mind his laugh and continued, " If you won't come with me, you will be executed by these Marine here. So i think you are not the type of person who will abandon his dreams this easily! "

" Captain! " Zoro raised his head, looked at Luffy seriously, and said, " Since things have escalated to this point, then i have no other choice. I don't care weather you are a good person or a bad person, i have only one dream and that is to become the strongest swordsman in the world.

But if you one day become a hindrance in my path then our deal is off. "

" Hmm, don't worry about that. "Luffy smiled as bright as the sun and freed Zoro.

Morgan, Marine soldiers have been scared by Luffy's ability. Before his appearance, they couldn't believe that someone in the world could block so many bullets.

This is no wonder, after all, East Blue is the weakest of the four oceans, and it is also the most unknown and inexperienced ocean!

" Morgan Captain, what should we do? We are no match against this strange brat at all! " said the first random soldier.

Hearing his arrogant tone seven of the Marine soldiers couldn't tolerate his behaviour and rushed at him.

Luffy's eyes were engulfed by the cold. His body morphed into a black flash of lightning, and he dashed toward them. At the same time, he used his heels to kick up a sword from the ground. It flew in the air and landed accurately into his hands.

** Shiing.....! **

The sword carved out an imposing trajectory. Its edge sliced through the air, emitting a murderous buzz. The entire process took place in the same amount of time as a cycle of breath.

** Pffft! **

Everyone watched in horror as the heads of the seven men suddenly bounced off their bodies.

Like seven rubber balls, they tumbled to the ground. The headless bodies twitched and collapsed. Hot blood poured from their necks as if they were cracked water pipes. The intense smell of blood abruptly pervaded the entire training ground.

The brutality of this single strike instantly deterred the crowd!

The soldiers who had been thinking of joining them were now completely petrified. Terror surged on their faces. They'd never once thought of Luffy as such a fearsome character.

Zoro's pupils dilated as his emotions were thrown into a state of chaos. He had hacked down seven men just because he disagreed with them. This was literally a straight-up declaration of war against the Marines.

Luffy ignored the seven bodies who had slumped horrifically to the ground. He lifted his head and looked at panick stricken Morgan with provocation and said, "How about now?"

Blood rolled down along the edge of the sword in his hands. When the last drop fell from the tip of the blade, Luffy's body emanated an immense murderous aura, and the temperature throughout the train ground plummeted.

Morgan stopped hesitating and shouted, " Retreat..retreat, head back to the base. " He carried the fainted Helmeppo and ran like a scared rabbit.

Then Luffy took Zoro along with him to find his swords. Luffy also robbed the whole treasury and collected a hefty sum of 100 milion Belly. He exchanged the money immediately.

After finishing their business they left the Marine base.

In a certain restaurant Luffy and Zoro ate, ate and ate.

After eating a satisfactory meal with Zoro in a very uncivilized way Luffy dialed his phone. Reiju picked up and informed him that they have already returned.

Actually Luffy had connected his phone with the Den Den Mushi of both Kaya and Reiju. He thought of giving them a phone each but they couldn't operate these advanced gadgets, so he dropped the idea for now.

" Zoro, let's return to our ship. " Luffy said and started walking towards the direction of his ship. Zoro nodded his head and followed him.

After a moment of walking, they arrived at the dock. But when Zoro looked at his new captain's ship, he stood there rooted on the dock. Then with some hesitation he boarded the ship.

Meanwhile Luffy dialed Garp's number and informed about today's incident. Luffy told him, how the branch captain had been terrorising the town and how in the heat of moment he had killed seven of Marine soldiers.

Garp sighed and adviced him not to kill the Marines as long as it was possible. Luffy just promised sloppily.
