chapter 25- start of a revolution

*BANG* "you absolute idiot! why the hell didn't you tell me you could do that? do you have any idea how worried I was?!", Ace lectured me about my reckless behavior while I giant red bruise grew on top of my head. "Ouch! what was that for? aren't you supposed to thank me?", I said as I rubbed the bruise on my head, "normally, yes, but you took on basically all of the marine forces alone! do you think I would just be like "oh, he kicked my ass so he can take on all three admirals and fleet admiral no problem"?!" Ace asked with a mocking expression. "Well no but..." I had nothing to say since he made a valid point.

"*Sigh* well anyway since I know you're strong now I won't worry anymore but knowing you, you'll manage to get into an even more dangerous situation than this, so when you do please tell me your plan" Ace said which caused me to feel bad. "Fine, next time I'll try to tell you but if you hit me like that again I'll fight back" I replied as I formed a simile, "ok-ok I won't hit you" Ace freaked out as he noticed my smile. "By the way, Sabo probably wants to see you as soon as possible. Last time I saw him I had to knock him out so that he won't come to rescue you alone, not that I have the right to talk". "It's a good idea, I'll do that as soon as I'm done with pops" Ace agreed, "that's good, for now, I have to get back to my crew. Since you can't fly *I'll leave you the boat" I said as I flew to the Going Merry.

"Luffy what did you do?!" Usopp yelled at me the moment I landed in the boat, "yohohohoho, captain you made quite the scene" Brook laughed. "Y-you... actually your bounty is already five billion so I guess you can't make worse, can you?" Nami was about to protest but then stopped herself, for some reason Sanji and Zoro didn't say a thing, but the worrying thing was the expression they had on. Their expressions had a mixture of disappointment and frustration. "Luffy, build me a more intensive training program" Zoro spoke up, "the harder the better". "Me too, I won't lose to moss head here", Sanji said as he looked at me. "Why the sudden request?" I asked them out of genuine curiosity, "with what you showed today it's clear that we are nowhere near your level, and that's unacceptable to us" Zoro announced and Sanji and Brook nodded in agreement. "Fine, but if you want this I'll make the toughest possible training for you so you'll get on my level in the fastest way possible. It'll be hell though".

The next day the world shook. In the places where the marines displayed the Marineford, suddenly a new recording was showed. It was the full version of the fight which showed Luffy killing Kizaru, diminishing the marine's power even further, but what shook the world was the conversation that came after. In the conversation Red Hair Shanks, one of the yonko, explained the origin on piracy and the corruption in the world government, and what was a shock was that even Garp the marine hero agreed with Shanks and apparently knows him. Not only that but according to Garp, everyone who managed to stay awake in front of Luffy's haki knew of his opinion and either agreed or didn't find much wrong with it, considering they never spoke up about it.

Everybody knew piracy didn't come out of nowhere, but hearing the awful wrongdoings of the world government they suddenly understood pirates a little better. And when you understand something it becomes less scary. Needless to say, there were protests in every kingdom across the world, and the revolutionary army suddenly had a massive amount of new recruits, so many recruits in fact, that they could actually operate in the open in some cities for some time before marine reinforcements came.

That day, the world government suffered the worst blow it had ever taken since its establishment seven hundred years ago, and the revolutionary army finally had enough support to begin the war against the world government.

Hey guys, my family just finished moving to a new apartment since we are renovating our house so together with the finals it has been a crazy time. I hope you enjoyed the chapter. By the way, I've seen a comment on how Shanks is a mortal enemy of the marine, and in my opinion, that's not true. Case in point when he stopped Marineford, he was ready to fight any side, and that includes other pirates, in order to prevent more casualties. And let's not forget that Shanks isn't the only one that thinks like that, Coby, for instance, and no I didn't forget about him
