chapter 27: sunset date (H & R's version)

THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

After an hour, Rafael and Heather arrived to their destination. Heather looked around with a wide smile on her face as she saw the small picnic Rafael prepared.

"R-Rafael, this is—amazing." Heather said as she looked at Rafael and they got out off the motorcycle.

"Thank you, but I know it's not too much-" Rafael said as he sighed then she cutted him off.

"What are you talking about? This is too much, I-I love picnics so much." She said as she smiled.

"Well, I'm glad you do. Come here, let's sit down." He said as he chuckled then they did so.

"You even bought my favorite foods!" She exclaimed as she opened the basket.

"Words cannot explain how much I am thankful for these Rafael, I-I really appreciate it." She continued as he looked back at her.

"No problem, my princess. You know I would do anything for you." He said as he chuckled.

"And I suggest you won't eat that yet until sunset." He said as he reached out for my hand and I grabbed a food from the basket.

"M-May I ask why?" She asked as she frowned and looked at him.

"I've once heard that a c-couple must wait to eat their favorite food especially when they are on a picnic date until sunset, she said that is romantic and their love will last forever." He replied.

"Have I ever told you I remind you of someone?" She asked as she chuckled.

"Well now you did." He said as he chuckled back.

"But of course, it's okay. I was just a little excited since I haven't eaten these foods in a while especially with everything that happened." She chuckled then he smiled.

"R-Right, about the 'everything that happened'." He said as he looked down.

"I-I hope this is a perfect time for me to talk about what happened yesterday. B-But, if you don't want to, we can wait for the sunset instead." He continued as she looked at him.

"Well, since we are both here right now, I-I think its best if we do talk about what happened." She said as she sighed.

"I-If you say so." He said then he took a deep breath.

"I just want to begin my speech with a sorry. Not just an ordinary sorry like I am some teenage boyfriend asking for forgiveness to his girlfriend, but a sorry with some reasons." He continued.

"I-I'm really sorry for everything. I know you s-somehow think or see me as a complete bastard now for k-kissing you like that, I know you aren't ready for any of those shit I've done, I know you are thinking of ending what the both of us have right now. B-But, I admit that I know that I messed up really really bad, I know it's my stupid actions that are just controlling me like I'm some kind of robot."

"I made a mistake, I know that. B-But, to be honest with you, I am not the person who you think I am. I want to be completely honest with you, but i-it's dangerous and I'm afraid that when I tell you this, you might end up breaking things between us and I never want any of those to happen because I love you Heather, I really do. I love you more than you imagine, I love you with all my heart and soul and I don't want to lose someone I've been waiting for in the past three years. I don't want to lose the person who made me on who I am today, I don't want to lose you ever in my life Heather." He said as he started tearing up.

"You are like the rainbow of my life, because without you I feel incomplete. You made me a better person, you changed the way how I see people around me, you changed my entire life. I-I don't want to be the same old Rafael who gets bully at times, who his parents think that he is worthless and such more." He said as he sobbed and she wiped his tears.

"I understand that you are still mad, but I just want to let you know that all of these are genuine and came from the heart. I am not some boy who wants to play your feelings, I am not some pervert who wants y-you and your b-body. I am different and once everything is over, I will tell you everything and once you I do, I hope you will understand because it is one of the reasons why the bad thing happened yesterday."

"Not being sarcastic, but a-are you done?" She asked as she panted.

"Y-Yeah, I am." He replied as he sighed.

"I understand Rafael, I really do and I've seen you being there for me and I want to do the same to you. I just hope that what you are doing in your other side of your life is good and not evil, because you are such a genuine person and I don't want to see you suffer and distracting yourself by including others, l-like what you did. Aside of that, you are the only person who genuinely apologized to me like that, you are the only person who does love me as me and such more." She said as she chuckled.

"And no, I don't want to end things between us. You mean the world to me Rafael and people make mistakes especially with the mistake you made that I am sure you weren't in your right mind. I'm thankful I changed your life i-in a good way, I'm glad I do. And back to the real topic, I just hope that you and I will take things slow especially with our actions towards each other, okay?" She said as she puts her hand on his cheek.

"I promise princess, thank you, thank you for trusting and understanding me." He said as he sniffled then he pulled her in for a hug and she hugged him back.

"Of course my prince, as long as you don't break my trust and understanding." She said as she teared up then they released from hugging.

"And please don't cry my prince with that little sad face of yours, I'm here, your princess is here." She continued as she chuckled and he wiped her tears.

"Oh, it must've been from tears of sadness to tears of joy after all this talk." He said as he chuckled back.

Suddenly, we saw a bright light right infront us.

"The sunset, it's beautiful." She said in a gentle voice with a smile as he looked at her.

"Exactly like you, my princess." He said then she looked at him and smiled.

"What about we take a picture as we enjoy this beautiful sunset?" She asked then he nodded and smiled.

Heather pulled out her phone as Rafael takes a look then her phone appeared her home screen with the Mystical App. Rafael saw the app and started getting confused.

"Alright, let's take a picture in three-" Heather said as she switched to the Camera app then Rafael cutted her off.

"I-If you don't mind me asking, wh-what was that Mystical App all about?" Rafael asked as

they looked at each other then Heather started panicking.

"O-Oh, that app. U-Uhh, it's f-for my graphic d-designs, yeah my graphic designs inspiration. I found it somewhere in Google and thought that it is a good idea to use this app." She nervously replied then he slowly nodded.

"Come on, let's take a picture." He said then she chuckled and nodded and they did so.

They spent fifteen minutes taking pictures together and a photoshoot with themselves alone. After awhile, they started eating the foods that are set in the picnic.

"Where is it?" She asked as she mumbled.

"Oh, here it is." She said as she pulls out a keychain from her pocket.

"I made this keychain when we were in nineth grade. To be honest, I haven't thought of who to give this lucky keychain of mine until the day you confessed to me. Which is why I am giving this keychain from me, so that you can bring it wherever you go." She continued as she handed out the keychain.

"Th-This is beautiful Heather, th-thank you so much. I will surely bring this to wherever I go, I promise." He said as he chuckled and received the keychain.

"You're the cutest, Rafael." She said as she smiled then he smiled back.

"And I love you more, my princess." He said as he intertwined our hands together then she nervously looked at their hands.

"Oh shiz, i-is this your first time?" He panickedly asked as he continued.

"Wh-What do you mean?" She nervously asked then he ooked at their hands.

"O-Oh, n-no, it isn't actually. It's b-been awhile, since someone hold my h-hand like this. But, I swear it's all good." She continued.

"A-Are you sure?" He worriedly asked then she nodded and he smiled.

Then they continued eating the food we have, had interesting conversations and so much more. Heather thought to herself that this is already one of the unforgettable dates she and Rafael have ever had. They spent hours and hours, until it is already midnight.

"R-Rafael, may I ask when are you gonna move out from my apartment?" Heather asked as she pouted then she yawned.

"Honestly, I don't know yet. But, I'm sure I will be moving out anytime soon so that I won't be a burden to you." Rafael replied as she puts her head on his shoulder.

"Do you want to go back apartment, princess?" He asked as he looked at her.

"No, no, I want this moment to stay and last forever." She replied as she yawned.

"You know we can't stay in here forever my Heather, we still have work tomorrow." He said as he chuckled.

"The thing is I don't want to end this night just like this, Rafael." She said as she pouted then she yawned again.

"This is probably the millionth time you yawned Heather and I know you are pretty tired." He said as he pouted back.

"A-Alright, fine." She said as she looked at him.

Timeskip at Heather's apartment, she got physically tired like she is drunk so Rafael decided to carry her to her room then to her bed.

"Go ahead and sleep already, I will just head to my room." Rafael said as they looked at each others' eyes then she smiled and nodded as he turned around.

"Wait." Heather said as she grabbed his arm then he turned around.

"I'm glad I got to spend every second we have after the fight we had Rafael, th-thank you for everything." She continued as she chuckled.

"Likewise princess, and don't forget that I will always love you no matter what." He said as he smiled.

"Goodnight my princess, sweet dreams." He continued.

"Goodnight my princess, sweet dreams to you too." She said as she closed her eyes.

Rafael turned around and he walked out her room then he closed the door and went to his room. He closed the guest room's door then he grabbed his Magicia bracelet and Devilio ring and put it on and he pressed his ring.

"Where have you been, Rafael? I've been trying to reach you out or atleast watch your every action for the past hours." Maria scolded as Rafael sighed.

"I-I've been busy Maria, it's not a big of deal." Rafael said as he scoffed.

"Whatever, we have things to focus on right now." She said.

"Alright, alright, I'm all on ears." He said as he sighed.
