172: I Want You To Be Okay.

The final D_day was here, the school end year musical play was being aired today. Every member of the music team was around to make sure everything is okay and the play flowed without any hinges. Line check was being done by the sound team for clarity purposes.

Davids had promised to meet Daniella at her home gate. though she was not in the hurry to get to school, she was still catching up with Brian who had flown in early from New York to accompanied by Mr Mike who was from a small business trip. 

"Are you sure the play is worth the time?" Asked Brian as je sliced through his steak. 

Davids placed the newspaper that was covering her face down and gave him a goofy look. She knew Brian believe in what she does and doesn't have any trouble with it, he was just trying to irk her this morning. 

"When you are going for a nightstand, do you ask if that Dick is worth the time or just console yourself and spread your legs?" Brian choked on his meat after Davids' statement but he coughed it out successfully. 

"Jesus," cried Brian looking at Davids, "it was a question, stop being an asshole."

Davids smiled and went on focusing on the Newspaper. Their parents walked in, Mike and Vicky. It was Annie's day to make breakfast she was busy working on some more pancakes for breakfast. Andrew was busy inspecting his team. After the little incident with Calvin, he made sure that everyone was present and alert during work. Though he trusted them, and they respected him very much, he was just trying to remind them that it's good to be responsible in their work.

Mike pulled the Newspaper out of Davids's face and threw her off his seat, "Hey, why do you want to inherit all these yet I am still alive? You are too young to be serious for newspaper and taking my seat, go to yours." 

Everyone laughed at them, Davids had forgotten that the seat wasn't hers but reading a newspaper, she did that every day, her dad had taught her when she was young what to look for in a newspaper, Tenders, stock markets and business news and that's what she was looking at. 

"It's all yours, I just need the newspaper," she said snatching the newspaper from his hands as she walked to her seat. 

"So sweetheart, who are you in the play?" started her mother. Davids's cheeks grew pink, she didn't want her parents to know her role, no one knew it not even her elder brother didn't know what was her role in the play. 

"Me? Just singing, you know play a Jazz and also act like a madman," she lied. 

"What? You madman?" Shouted Brian making everyone laugh.

"Nooo, you can't be serious, how are you going to act like one?" Asked his dad who was dying of laughter. 

"Jesus, did you choose the role or did someone choose it for you?" Asked her mother in concern, she knew her daughter when given something to perform or do, will do it to perfection. She feared that she might have watched lots of videos just to see how one gets into action. 

"Don't even, I bet she can be anything but trust me, that role is a no for you, please don't embrace your girlfriend," said Brian chewing on his food. 

Davids loved the way this conversation was going, she knew they will be surprised to find out that she is the lead actor in the musical. 

"So are you guys coming? Because I need to prepare the VIP section for you in our school theatre," she asked the whole family. 

"To see you act like a madman? Davids be serious, I will mess that show and laugh the whole night," said Brian. 

Brian was being Brian, he knew their family being the known around the area, they will be asked to wave to the audience and he was not looking forward to a shame them by being the most noisy. 

"Sweetheart, I am bored today, I will come, with flowers," said Annie who had now joined the others at the table. 

Brian looked at her, he thought he would support him but Annie knew the family rule, they support everyone and she has never missed any event organized by the family she was not going to move this. 

"Count me too, I can't miss seeing you act like a madman," said Andrew after he eavesdropped on their conversation. 

"Okay, everyone is going to come, said Mr Black making Davids smile because of the surprise he had in store for them. 

"Okay, Brian, is your video guy coming to help Damien?" Asked Davids. 

Brian nodded, after the little family meeting, Davids walked out of the house and Brian offered to escort her to the car. 

"Are you seriously going to act? Trust me I will embarrass you all," said Brian, he wanted to give her younger sister the heads up so that he doesn't get mad at him after the play.

"You know I will be happy if someone is excited with my role but your laugh is so loud and bad, make sure you carry a cell tape today or I will kill you if you laugh at me," warned Davids as je got inside the car to drive off leaving Brian waving ro her before she escaped through the gate.

Turning on afro music, she drive through the wounding road, she greeted Mrs Patt who also asked about the play and assured her that she will be around, "do you want Brian to pick you up?" 

Mrs Patt told her that she will be picked up with a driver and Davids agreed with her giving her a thumbs up and moved on.

Arriving at Daniella's gate, sje found her already standing in front of the gate with a small backpack on her back and her hands busy on the phone. 

"Hello, baby?" Called Davids as she grilled down her window to wink at her. 

"Hello handsome," she kissed Davids lips, "mmh, I love your lip balm, which flavour is that?" 

"Vanilla," said Davids as she admired the top that Brian gave her, it was fitting her nicely. 

"Okay, why don't you open the driver's seat, I can't pass to the other side," she said while looking at Davids with cheeky eyes. 

"What? Are you sure you don't want anything else?" Davids gave her a grin Making her blush and her cheeks great pink. 

Opening the door, she picked the backpack and placed it behind the car. Moving from the vehicle so that Daniella can pass, Daniella told her to stay in her position and she climbed on top of her thighs. 

Davids let out a gasp while looking at Daniella, "don't be sneaky, just pass"

Instead of seating on the passenger's seat, Daniella started to throw kisses all over her face, "bane not now," begged Davids as she tried to remove her from her thighs but she was grinding on her as she kissed Davids. 

"Please, remove the wallet I find it difficult for me to grind on you freely," begged Daniella. 

"What wallet?" Asked Davids as she locked at Daniella. Daniella wanted to stretch her hands but Davids found the opportunity and threw her to the passenger's seat.

That's not fair Davids, every time I want us to have sex you don't want me to," cried Daniella.

Davids didn't know how to explain to her that they can't have sex, sje knew she was starving her but sje was making sure that Daniella was ready, emotionally and physically not only physically and emotionally sje was thinking about someone else.

"We can't have sex yet Dee, I am not rushing you, I just want to make you are okay with everything," said Davids. 

"What things should I be okay with? Wait, you still think I am not over Vin?" She shouted at her.

"I didn't say that, I just want you to be okay,"she didn't want to shout at her, she was trying to be calm and make sure she doesn't break down.

"No, you think I still love Vin and I am using you as a rebound, tell me I am wrong?" 

Davids was mow irked and she brought the vehicle to a sudden halt looking at her, "you remember during the dare game, you kissed Vin and came back to ask me if you had done it well, then before that you told me that we should involve Vin in our relationship, don't you remember saying that you wanted a poly relationship?" she shouted at her showing the scariest face with veins popping on her forehead and hands. 

Daniella regretted starting this conversation, she doesn't remember saying that, and if she said why can't she remember it.

"I am sorry Davids, look I don't remember saying that and if I said I am sorry, I wouldn't want Vin in our life okay, I love you but please let's not make Vin pRy of this okay?" She begged her and Davids pulled her in for a hug. 

"It's okay babe, sorry for shouting at you," she said and Daniella calmed down. 

"Look, when I feel you are ready, we will have sex and sex should be something that comes naturally okay," Daniella nodded to her words, she was trying to understand her, unlike Vin who just wanted sex even without asking.

They drove to school to start the preparation for the musical.
