Episode 7: Love Stereotype

-A few days later-

The class went off again just like that. I don't even write a note. I was daydreaming for the whole day until the end of the class. I was roaming around without direction and just then Skylee come and knocked on my head.

"Hey, I shouted your name from the cafeteria and you did not even turn around? What happened to you?" She asked as an act of concern.

"Nothing. Where are Iris and Adeline?"

"Adeline left last night because of her health problem and Iris was with Iole just now. Where are you going?"

"I'm going back to my room."

"No, you're not. I just remember that didn't Phi' Joss asked you to go out and take the flower from the Y Flower shop." Her words make me rounds my eyes.

"Why don't you tell me earlier? It was 4 pm already." My words make her knock on my head.

"I told you last night crazy girl. When we're passing each other last night." I suddenly remember about it.

"Gosh. Can you put this book in my room? I'll catch you back later. Bye." I run away from there and run to catch the bus to the city.

(Y Flower Shop)

"I'm sorry but we're unable to finish your orders by today. We already contact Mr. Joss and behalf of our staff, again we're sorry." The staff there politely apologize to me.

"It's okay. Hmm, did you know when the last bus will arrive?" I'm asking her.

"Around 9 pm."

"Ok. Thank you." I walk away from there.

I walk to the nearest convenience store. I try to find some sweets and mineral water and unfortunately, I bump into a guy. I sighed. Why did every time I walk outside of the school alone, I will bump into someone? Am I getting my karma for being a bad girl? I look up at the person I bump into.

"Aidan."

"Claire."

"What are you doing here?"

"I told you before. I was still under the suspended period. What about you?"

"I was taking a bouquet from the flower shop but they said the flower will be done by tomorrow. I guess I will be coming here again tomorrow." I sighed.

"Ohh, then how will you get back to school?"

"By catching the last bus."

"Ohh, umm, can I send you back?"

"What will people said later if they saw me with you?"

"You can say that we're going out for discussing the ball."

"Am I bothering you?"

"No. You're not. Come on." He drags me out of the store towards his car.

Our journey until we reach the school was awkward. He was too focused on his driving and I was too focused on the outside scenery. Then, he starts the conversation.

"Hey, Claire."

"Hmm."

"Do you mind coming with me this weekend?"

"Where did you want to go?"

"I want to bring you to meet my parents." His words make me startled.

"Hah? Are you crazy?"

"I'm just kidding. My uncle got me an extra ticket to the Star Exhibition and I was planning to bring Daniel but he is going out with Ivy to meet the themed planner." When I heard the words star, I was overjoyed.

"Really? Oh my god. Thank you so much." I was freaking excited.

Aidan smile when he looks at me. I noticed it but I just ignored him. I couldn't help but keep thinking about the fact I'm going to the famous world star exhibition. Just then, we arrived at the school and I walk out of his car.

"Thank you for the ride." I smile at him.

"You're welcome. See you later." He smiles back and drives away.

I walk to the dorm with some food for Skylee in my hand. Just then, I heard the voice of someone crying and shouting. I took a peep and it turns out that voice comes from Iole and Iris.

"Please Iole. I'm sorry." Iris was kneeling and begging at her.

"You're going to ruin my plan. If I know you're doing this to me, we should better break up." Her words make me shocked.

"No, Iole, please. I love you so much. Don't break up with me." Iris was begging again.

"So what? You like Claire much more don't you? That's why that night you didn't bring her to the student council room."

"No. It because of Ivy. She suddenly comes and takes her away."

"I have done so much to bring her down. I even threaten Aubrey and Andrea that I will harm their family and I even fake the CCTV. I had done too much. I even drag Phoebe into this problem." Her words make me gets on my nerve.

"I'm sorry Iole." Iris gets up.

"You don't have to say sorry. I'm breaking up with you." She shouted at Iris.

"Yes. You can break up with me. I had enough with your games. You don't love me at all right? You love Riera right? I saw you with her that night in the laundry room. What is that?" Iris's words make Iole smirk.

"Hahaha, so you have seen it already? Then, you should understand the whole situation that, between you and me, we got nothing since today." Iole then walks away from there. Luckily, she does not notice me.

I quickly walk and hug Iris who was squatting and crying there.

"I'm sorry. I should trust you." I hug her tightly.

"I'm sorry Claire. I was not a good friend." Iris hug me back.

"No. It's okay. Let's go back. You should rest."

-Claire's Room-

That night, I look at the stars. In a meantime, I could see how God is punishing me for not knowing the meaning of love. I met someone who loves his friends a lot that lastly got betrayed. I met lovebirds loving with each other but still be called friends. And, I also met someone who loves a person of the same sex as themselves. I don't say I support them but they know what they choose so gender was actually not an issue. What a complicated life. Just then, Skylee comes and throws me a bottle of milk.

"Here. Adeline gave it to you. She said do not push yourself." I put on a weak smile.

"I'll try." Skylee pat on my shoulder and walk away.

-School hall-

We started to decorate the school hall today. Lyra was busy arranging every student's partner and clothes. Iole was being suspended after she was caught on cheating and Iris was away for some family matters.

"We're out of hands." Ivy comes to me with her upside down file.

"I know. When will Daniel and Aidan arrive?" I'm asking in a hurry.

"Just in a few minutes."

"Gosh. Why did man always be late?" I walk to the left side of the hall where they hang the light.

When I was standing, one of the lights fall down and almost hurt me. I couldn't help but close my eyes. Just then, I could feel someone was pushing me and both of us fall away from there. I opened my eyes and I could see Aidan was hurt. The light actually hurt his head. I look terrified as the blood was too many.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Are you crazy? Why did you save me? Ivy, call the ambulance now." I shouted at her.

Aidan smile and he fainted on me. Daniel quickly tries to help but when he turns around Aidan's head, Aidan glared at him and he quickly releases Aidan's head making me shout at him.

"Hey, are you crazy? Aidan. Are you ok?" I smoothly hold his head.

"Don't worry. I could bet my family's wealth that he was fine as hell."

-Hospital-

I sit on the waiting bench outside of the doctor's room. Just then, Daniel and Aidan walk outside with Aidan's head being wrapped.

"Are you okay?" I'm asking him.

"Doctor said that he….does not need rest at all. The wound was too little that the doctor said we should just use a bandage." Daniel's words again made Aidan glared at him.

"I'm sorry Aidan. You shouldn't help me at all." I was feeling guilty.

"It's okay. We should get back to school. Well, I don't need to rest at all right?" Aidan walks away with Claire.

"I'm sorry on behalf of our school Aidan." Lyra apologize.

"It's okay. I heard that you don't have enough people. That's why you asked for some help right?"

"Yes, but as you could see, I'm also busy. So, I'll leave this to you guys. Have fun decorating guys." Lyra walks away in rush.

"I know how she feels. I could see Jason like that in school."

"Should we move our ass people?"

They work around the place and start decorating. The decorations process takes up at most 4 hours that day and ends at 10 pm that day. When the workers were all out from the hall, I was away to take some drinks and on the stage, Aidan, Daniel, and Ivy were sitting together. The decorations process today only 15% of the real idea. Since the rehearsal will likely start in a few weeks, the hall needs to at least 69% ready.

"Aidan, did you find the replacement for me?"

"Replacement for what?" Ivy who overheard the conversation asked.

"I could not follow him to the Star Exhibition this weekend so I'm asking him to asked someone else."

"Of course I got your replacement already. I'm going out with Claire." His words make Daniel shocked.

"Are you crazy? What will your uncle said if you bring her?" He asked.

"Then, when will people know about her existence If I keep her to myself?"

"But she is not your girlfriend Aidan." Ivy interrupted them.

"Yes. I know that. It's okay. I don't even plan to introduce her as my girlfriend." Aidan put on a weak smile.

"I hope you won't make her cry or else, you will bear the consequences." Ivy gave him a warning.

"Just enjoy your date lovebirds." Aidan's words make Ivy blush.

Just then, I come and bring them some water. I look away at the main door. I saw Adeline and Skylee were calling for me. I choked the water inside my mouth. Aidan who was worried quickly pat my back gently.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"I'm ok. I will be back." I walk to the main door.

"What are you guys doing here?" I'm asking them.

"Just checking for you. Iris come by and asked us to pass you this." Adeline passes me a plastic of freshly baked tart.

"Thank you. Have you guys eat this?"

"Yup. The rest is for you. Goodnight." Adeline and Skylee walk back to their room.

I open the plastic and there was a note from Iris.

Claire,

I'm sorry for making you worry. I was not a good friend. You might think I'm a bit weird after that day right? Yes. I am bisexual. I almost trap you that day and Ivy come and save you. I hope you could give me second chance. I will try to change myself. See you later after I finish dealing with this matter with my brother.

Iris

Her words make me touch. That night, I share the egg tart with them. We discuss some more about the work and when we're done, I walk Aidan to his car.

"So, I'll pick you up at 9 this weekend?"

"Ok." I just nodded.

"Can you wear a white dress?" His request left me with a question.

"Why should I?"

"Because I think you will look good in white."

"Ok. Since you're buying me the ticket, take this as the payment."

"Yes, I mean….goodnight." He drives away from school.

I walk into the dorm and get some rest after a very long day.
