Satisfaction and Pleasure

The sweet moment between Daisy and Leif suddenly came to a halt as a loud, low growl echoed throughout the cave. It wasn't a growl exactly, more like a low rumbling noise that couldn't be ignored.

Daisy's face turned scarlet red, and she looked down in embarrassment as she realized that she had been too engrossed in cleaning to remember to eat.

Leif chuckled at the situation, which only made her feel even more embarrassed. "You must be starving, daisybug," he said with a smile.

Daisy covered her stomach and looked away slightly in shame, to which Leif playfully ruffled her hair and suggested, "Why don't you take some rest while I make something to eat?"

Daisy glanced at the empty kitchen place and replied with a sigh. "We don't have anything to cook and eat," She had arranged everything around the fireplace which she considered as a kitchen and found nothing but a few wooden bowls, a stone cauldron with a spatula, and a few miscellaneous spices she didn't know the name of.

She had also searched for the leftovers from the night before, but they were nowhere to be found, except for an animal skin hanging on the cave wall.

She wondered if Leif had thrown it away.

Leif also noticed the problem and went silent. He typically lived in the forest and only returned to his cave if he was injured and needed to rest.

He had never considered storing food in his cave because he could always hunt whenever he wished.

Even the leftovers from the previous night were thrown away by him.

"Wait here, I'll hunt some food," he said as he patted Daisy's head in assurance.

Daisy quietly watched as Leif left, shouting after him, "Be careful and don't take too long!" Leif waved back and replied, "Okay, daisybug."

As soon as he stepped foot out of the cave, the raindrops began falling on him, instantly soaking him. He quickly transformed into a snake and slithered down the rocky mountainside, heading off to find some food.

In the meantime, Daisy rummaged through the corner of the kitchen, pulling out the necessary things to prepare a meal for when Leif returned.

She also examined the unknown ingredients that she had discovered, wondering what they were.

"Is this an onion?" she mumbled, holding an onion-shaped object with red spikes all around it. She wouldn't have guessed it was an onion if not for its pungent smell that stung her nose.

As she peeled away the outer layers, her eyes teared up as the pungent odor hit her. With tears running down her face, she took a huge bite of the onion and began to chew it, "wuuu- even onions exist here!"

She was grateful that most of the food ingredients she knew from her world existed in this world. Else she wouldn't know how to survive.

On the other side, a large animal that looked similar to an elk was wandering leisurely in the forest, enjoying the rain that had turned into drizzle.

'Snap!'

The elk's eyes snapped up and locked onto the little snake dangling from the tree branch, its sharp gaze meeting the snake's own unblinking stare.

With a snort of contempt, the creature raised its tall antlers to their full height, a symbol of its power and the beautiful harmony of nature.

The elk's display of arrogance was met with an unfazed snake, its own eyes still locked onto its much larger predator.

The snake remained impassive, as if nothing could shake its calm demeanor, not even the threat of a huge beast.

Infuriated by its failed attempt to scare away the little snake, the elk was filled with rage. It charged forward, smashing down the very tree that had given the snake its perch, all while preparing to impale the harmless creature with its deadly antlers.

But just as the elk was about to attack, the snake opened its mouth, revealing a sharp, hiss that sent shivers down the elk's spine.

Startled, it made a shrill chirping noise, almost like a bird's call, before becoming aware of the snake's transformation.

The little snake began to grow larger and larger, its sharp scales gleaming with an unnatural radiance that reflected the light around it.

The snake's golden pupils peered out from beneath its devilish horns, placed atop its head, and its eyes were glowing with malice.

The elk, upon witnessing the frightening and murderous snake, felt instant fear. Nevertheless, it refused to back down and run away, taking a defensive stance and preparing for an attack.

Its pupils shook in fear yet arrogance at the thought of defeating its opponent.

The sky grew dark, with thunderous roars piercing the air and rain falling in heavy, punishing sheets, making visibility poor.

With another thunderous roar from the sky, signalling the start of a duel, the two animals collided. Body to body, they locked together in a brutal struggle.

Using its sharp antlers and massive strength, the elk managed to pin the giant snake to the ground. Hooves striking with devastating force, the elk fought to hold the snake down.

The snake, however, was unfazed. In brutal response, it swung its tail with a powerful force, breaking pieces off the antlers with one blow.

The sharp points of the antlers began to crack and shatter, a gruesome sound echoing through the area.

The pain of the antlers breaking was felt all the way up to the elk's head, and it let out a loud cry of pain that echoed through the area.

The snake was not done yet. It twisted its powerful body around, using its coils to constrict the elk's legs and body.

The elk struggled to break free and fight back, but the snake only tightened its grip, slowly crushing the elk's bones and choking its breath.

The sky above the two creatures grew darker still, with flashes of lightning streaking across the heavens. The rain came down in a torrential downpour, making the ground slippery and making it difficult for the two animals to find their footing.

The elk's whinnies of terror and pain echoed across the landscape, but the snake seemed unfazed.

It continued to laugh with a menacing delight of satisfaction and pleasure, relishing in the elk's suffering.

Its body remained tight around the animal, coiling its coils tighter and tighter to squeeze the last bit of air out of its lungs.

The elk struggled with all its might to escape the snake's grip, but the tight coils were too strong.

Its movements grew slower and less intense as it fought to free itself, eventually succumbing to the snake's suffocating grip.

Its eyes stayed locked in an expression of pain and regret, and it took its last breath.
