Chapter 2

Was I... in another world?!

I was shocked with this another world thought but I quickly thew away the thought as I believed that this was just a dream and travelling to another world in such a small time was not possible.

I averted my attention to the flowers which grew among the numerous blades of grass.

These were some flower which I had never seen before. They did not seem normal. I knew that these flowers were not normal as I had learnt botany from my grandpa and knew most of the plants along with the various types of flowers which grew on them. I had never seen this species of flowers in my life.

Being wary of my surroundings, I gathered up the courage to walk further.

As I walked further, I noticed a water body. I walked further until i reached this body of water.

Turned out that this water body was actually a river which broke through the land and separated the landmass. There were numerous streams originated from the river, like branches of a tree, travelling in all directions. The waterbed of the river consisted of clay along with gravel.

I walked further until I reached the riverside gazed at my reflection. The water was the most clearest water I had ever seen in my life. The water was odourless and colourless, just like the characteristics of clean water we had learnt in our schools. The water looked blue in colour from a distance due to the colour of the sky.

Thinking about the blue colour of the sky, I suspected that there was a 'Sun' present in the sky giving light to the land and causing the sky to be blue.

I decided to rest alongside the riverside. I sat on the soft grass and spread my legs along the blades of grass. It felt very relaxing. I decided to savour this moment for a while and then got serious. I started to think if this was really another world or just a dream.

I thought and thought, but until then...

It was already afternoon...
