**Chapter 58: Where Is Sasuke?**

So this is the ability of Uchiha Izumi's Mangekyō Sharingan?

Earlier, he had witnessed Uchiha Izumi instantly slay two Root ninjas.

He thought he had already figured out Uchiha Izumi's ability.

But he never expected that this Mangekyō ability could even sever ninjutsu.

This power was terrifying.

Uchiha Itachi's heart sank as he contemplated how to deal with Uchiha Izumi.

Mangekyō abilities couldn't be used recklessly!

Since he had just awakened his Mangekyō, his control over it was not yet proficient.

Overusing the Mangekyō's power now would only hasten the deterioration of his eyesight.

"Amaterasu! As Lord Raijin predicted, someone like you, filled with hatred."

Uchiha Izumi took a deep breath and stood up. Using the Mangekyō ability suddenly took a lot out of her.

She had only awakened her Mangekyō about a week ago.

But the detailed knowledge about the Mangekyō Sharingan had been taken by Uchiha Madara long ago.

Now, those who awakened the Mangekyō had no choice but to fumble their way through it.

Under Raijin's guidance, her mastery of the Mangekyō had progressed much faster.

However, the Mangekyō was different from an ordinary Sharingan.

Using the eye techniques took a heavy toll on Uchiha Izumi's eyes.

"Burning the Uchiha Clan will make Konoha stronger."

"Without the Uchiha Clan dragging Konoha down, peace will come sooner."

Uchiha Itachi swayed but managed to stand up again.

He tossed aside the short blade in his hand, his chakra surging.

The Mangekyō Sharingan in his eyes spun rapidly, and in an instant, his chakra became tangible.

Chakra turned into a crimson flame, burning around Uchiha Itachi.

In the next moment, the flames condensed, forming a massive skeletal structure.

A fireball ignited in the hand of the skeleton, extending several meters.

"Susanoo!"

Uchiha Itachi, using the power of his freshly awakened Mangekyō, unleashed Susanoo without hesitation.

Though his chakra was on the verge of collapse, having Susanoo gave Uchiha Itachi the confidence to face Izumi.

Unfortunately!

He had awakened too late.

Had he awakened earlier.

Had he been more proficient in controlling the Mangekyō.

He could have held out much longer.

"Boom!"

The crimson giant blade crashed down.

A massive crater was created.

Uchiha Izumi narrowly dodged, desperately trying to avoid Susanoo's attacks.

"Susanoo, the Uchiha Clan's third power, said to possess the strength of a god."

"But unleashing Susanoo requires an enormous amount of chakra."

"Uchiha Itachi is digging his own grave!"

Uchiha Izumi analyzed calmly, observing Uchiha Itachi's movements.

This power was like a natural disaster!

There were no weaknesses!

Several consecutive attacks grazed her.

If she were to take a direct hit, she would be severely injured, if not killed.

"Itachi!"

Shisui's voice came from above.

Uchiha Shisui looked down in disbelief at Itachi.

He couldn't believe that Itachi had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.

Just a while ago, when they parted, Uchiha Itachi seemed the same as always.

But now, his chakra had undergone a drastic change.

His eyes were filled with hatred, his gaze brimming with rage.

Was this the same calm and collected Uchiha Itachi?

He now seemed like a monster consumed by hatred.

"Brother Shisui!"

Some clarity returned to Uchiha Itachi's eyes.

The Susanoo skeleton dissipated.

Immediately, a wave of exhaustion washed over him.

Blood streamed down from Itachi's tear ducts.

But even then, he forced himself to stand.

"You…"

Uchiha Shisui quickly moved to protect Uchiha Itachi.

"Watch out for Uchiha Izumi's sneak attack!" 

"Sasuke is in Raijin's hands."

Uchiha Itachi, leaning on Shisui's shoulder, spoke with difficulty. 

Sasuke's image was vividly in front of his eyes.

The only thing on his mind was his younger brother.

He couldn't care less about anyone else.

"Sasuke... I'll handle Uchiha Izumi. You go rescue Sasuke."

"Itachi, never let anger cloud your judgment."

Uchiha Shisui thought of Itachi's younger brother.

He never expected that Itachi cared the most about that child.

Uchiha Itachi lifted his head to look at Shisui.

He saw Shisui's face still wearing a gentle expression, even in this moment.

This calmed his anger-clouded mind.

"Okay!"

Uchiha Itachi nodded and didn't look at Uchiha Izumi again.

His steps wobbled as he walked away into the distance.

His gaze remained fixed on Sasuke.

Uchiha Raijin would only let Sasuke follow him to destroy Konoha.

Watching Uchiha Itachi walk away!

The smile on Uchiha Shisui's face finally faded.

He looked seriously at the girl in front of him. Despite having gone through a battle, she didn't seem badly hurt.

She still had a lot of chakra left.

Uchiha Shisui knew this would be a tough fight.

As for Kotoamatsukami's technique...

Forget it! Without absolute confidence, Uchiha Shisui wouldn't use this eye technique.

"Uchiha Izumi, Konoha is already in ruins. Even if you seize power..."

"A broken Konoha won't be of any use. Stop this now!"

Uchiha Shisui said in a deep voice.

"This tiny piece of land could never contain the Uchiha clan!"

Uchiha Izumi sneered. They were aiming for something much bigger than Konoha now.

They were heading towards a broader world to explore.

The true freedom of the Uchiha clan was finally about to begin.

"Too small?"

Uchiha Shisui's pupils suddenly contracted.

It seemed everything was completely different from what he had imagined.

"Crack!"

The Uchiha Fire Formation shrank and disappeared without a trace.

Only a few elite Uchiha Jonin remained nearby.

The leaders of Konoha's other clans had already disappeared completely.

Only Uchiha Raijin stood in the center of the Fire Formation.

"Now it's just the few of you left. You can retreat."

Uchiha Raijin opened a passage to Kamui's space for Elder Hokuseki and others.

Elder Hokuseki's face was filled with joy as he quickly led his people inside.

All the surrounding forces were gathered by Elder Hokuseki.

They had made the right choice this time.

Choosing Raijin was the best decision they had made.

Raijin had a smile on his face. It was finally over, in every sense.

Had finally been broken.

Raijin couldn't help but look forward to seeing what a prosperous Uchiha clan would look like.

"Uchiha Raijin!"

A figure appeared in Raijin's field of vision.

Uchiha Itachi moved slowly, the blood tears on his face not yet wiped clean.

His Mangekyou Sharingan was fixed firmly on Raijin.

Looking at the empty clan grounds, his heart sank.

Where's Sasuke?!
