The door creaked open.
"Hey, Collin, it's getting late," Michiru said. "Are you getting hungry yet?"
Alastair groaned as he rolled so that his back was facing the door.
The puppy crawled up and curled up in the crick of Alastair's neck and licked his face.
"Honey..." the redhead croaked out.
"Sleep is nice, but food is important, too. Are you sure that you don't want to have breakfast? Even a piece of fruit or some toast?"
Alastair decided to reply by doing nothing.
Michiru came over and pulled the blanket back. He leaned really close to Alastair's face. "Wow, you really don't feel good, do you?" He got shocked when he touched Alastair's forehead. "Ow!"
The redhead whined. He hadn't felt this bad in months. The electricity was coming back, but it wasn't listening. Why couldn't it be friendly on Nachima? Was his training not enough?
Michiru let out a sharp breath. "Does anything hurt?"
