Episode 105

Knock-knock!

Michiru held a puppy against his chest as he went into Collin's room. "Hey, bud. My dad's dog had puppies. Want one?"

His lip quivered. "I want Honey!"

"Okay." Michiru ran his hand across the puppy's back. "I'll just take him back with me."

Collin whimpered as he held his hands out.

Michiru smiled as he set the puppy in the boy's lap.

"Doggy!" Collin hugged the puppy.

Was Joshua onto something when he made that comment about the boy having the mind of a toddler?

"He doesn't have a name yet." Michiru smiled. "Do you have any ideas or suggestions?"

Collin blinked before saying, "Syrup?"

Was that really what he wanted to name the puppy or was he trying to say he was hungry? That word didn't come out particularly smoothly.

"Have you gotten to eat breakfast yet?" Michiru asked.

Collin furrowed his eyebrows.
