Entering A Big Town.

Another 2 days passed , In the morning. We finally arrived at big town XXXX.

While in small town the inner area was covered by big wall here whole town was covered in wall while at the entry of the town their where many carriage was waiting to enter. While at the other side line made by people waiting for their turn to enter the town.

Clearly the population in this town was way higher then the town I stayed In.

We too waited in the queue of the carriage for our time to enter come.

Waiting for 10 minutes our time finally arrived we too went out of the carriage. Seeing from up close the big gate made of unknown materials on both side three to four guard guarding it with spear in all of their hands.

I checked their Rank ' ohhh they are at rank 15 to rank 19 , the guard in this town is at the rank same as mayor was in the town I stayed the power difference is queit obvious'.

We came in front of the guard , Guard stared at me for a while then said ," What is a Demon doing here What purpose do you have in this town," clearly suspicious of me asked in serious voice.

But before I could speak Merchant spoke in "Sir he is a newborn demon that was born nearby forest of XXXX town,"

Guards looked at each other then he spoke again ,"Ok If that the case. Then show me your ID card and state your purpose to visit the town,".

I got confused what this identity card was so I looked toward merchant direction wanting to know what he meant.

Seeing my face with questioning look the merchant understood so he spoke with respect "Sir he is basically asking for your identity card the ID card which guild gave you can be your identity card".

Understanding I gave my guild ID card to guard and merchant to retrieve his ID card which was definitely not guild ID since I was not interested in knowing what it was I didn't ask.

Giving our ID merchant spoke "I am a merchant, So I am here for business, while this sir here has accepted the mission to provide me protection for our trip to here from the guild that I posted,"

The guard checked are identity card seeing their was no problem in both identity card and the reason he gave a nod then said,

"OK , pay 50 MS for each of you then you may pass. And don't try to do anything funny in the town or you would be punished accordingly ,"

Hearing this I retrieved 50 MS from my ring , merchant did the same counting the MS guard gave Ok sign so that we can enter the town.

I felt that security of this town is way higher then the small town.

Entering the town with are Carriage we went toward the direction of the guild to submit my mission while merchant to pay his promised MS.

Seeing the town that was a lot bigger and lively then the town I felt good. While I was checking the town I Could see same beast-kin all over the town with same rabbit traits.

While I also encountered some different types of shops that I haven't seen before in that town. But we didn't stopped I planed to see this town afterward.

We finally reached the guild after 5 minutes and went inside it seeing inner area of the guild which was more big with many mission hanging on board many people chating some laughing inside the guild.

Not everyone looked toward us but some beast-kin girls looked toward me seeing a different race in here and that to a  handsome face of mine stared at me with interested eyes.

But we didn't pay them attention I was not interested in them while merchant knew they where out of his league for now so he kept his face straight.

We went toward the receptionist wheir a beast-kin girl hosting people.

The girl seeing us welcomed us with professional smile ,"How may I help you sir,"

Merchant gave a smile and said,

"We have traveled from the town XXXX to this town while I posted the mission for protection so I am here to confirm the mission is completed and the sir here to receive his due."

Girl "OK sir please give me your name and mission detail to confirm?"

Merchant gave detail confirming the detail beast-kin woman checked something on some kind of artifact that I was not familiar  with then asked "It is mentioned two of them should have companied you wheir is the other one sir,"

Hearing this I got little curious how did they know all the detail does this world also has some technology like phone or something I knew that artifact must be the reason from where she found out about this.

Since in previous town I haven't found any book that explained me what this things where but I knew they where called artifacts. I wanted to know what they where, Who made those things and many more about this things. I planned to visit  this town library if their is one to learn more new things about this world, Since in that library there wasn't much to learn anyway
