The Forbidden Eclipse

After ensuring everything was running smoothly, Daniel's body vanished from the spot and appeared at the mouth of an excavation volcano.

"Another ritual site?" Daniel asked when he felt an intense level of heat ripple out of the volcano.

"Yes. Beneath this volcano lies the geocentric core of this planet, and the only spot where the forbidden eclipse will converge." Legion answered with a nod.

After surveying the entire area for a bit, they began their descent to the core of the entire planet.

Despite the intense heat, Daniel's body felt nothing due to the purple flames that were billowing out of his body, but it soon got to an extent where even the purple flames began to gradually lose their effectiveness.

Daniel soon lost track of time, but he could still tell that they had been descending for over 6 hours and had yet to reach their destination.

He was sweating profusely, and their speed seemed to have slowed considerably; the entire area was bright red and they had begun to see lava stream through several crevices like streams.

"We're here," Legion said as Daniel saw them descend into what seemed to be a massive cavern.

This cavern was the size of a small village, and everything in there was so bright that Daniel was forced to squint.

The lava was bright yellow, and plumes of searing flames spiraled about like solar flares.

At the roof of the cavern were countless amounts of precious gems that had been created from the cycle of melting and compression of the core itself.

A more intense purple flame burst out of Daniel's body as he began to float towards the center of this cavern.

On arriving there, Daniel saw an extremely long pillar with the girth of a tennis court, jut out of the lava into the air, and on arriving at the top, a bigger ancient runic formation could be seen, but now, this one had a pitch-black altar right at its center.

They arrived at the altar and Daniel saw a pedestal that had an octagonal runic hex formation on it.

Legion approached the formation and then brought out the gems he had gotten from Sun and Yama.

He then slotted the golden stone on the 'east' part of the hex, with the silver and white stones on either of its sides.

He repeated the same process with the black, blood-red, and purple-green stones, slotting the purple-green stone in the 'west' position.

"All that is left is to collect the stones at the bottom of the ocean, and the one at the northernmost part of the planet," Legion muttered as Daniel simply watched the entire process in silence.

"What are we trying to do here?" He eventually asked.

"There are three important treasures you must take along into the world where you'll be reincarnated. We are here to create the first." Legion said within the soul world.

"Reincarnated?" Though he knew where the entire scenario was heading, Daniel still wanted to be utterly sure and clear about what he was about to venture into.

"Remember when I said there isn't much I could tell you? The answer you seek is one of those things." Legion sighed as their consciousness returned to Daniel's body.

"Don't worry; you will gradually come to know about all these things as you grow in strength." He consoled.

"So, what are these stones for? You can at least tell me that much, right?" Daniel pressed on.

"These rituals are the only way we can create the perfect bloodline of the Omni-being." Legion began.

"Once we collect the other stones, I will slot them into their rightful places-" Legion then pointed to the north and south points on the hex formation.

"-and we shall use the life force of this planet to power the; Triad Union Formation."

"The energy from the forbidden eclipse would power up this altar, and we will use it to summon the long-lost Nuwa Stone." Legion lifted the clear crystal gem in front of his face.

"At least, that is what the Scripture of the Primal Scribe says." He added.

Daniel simply sighed at the situation; all of these terms were things he'd never seen, heard, or even read about before, but now, it seems like he would be coming in contact with a lot of them in his next life.

"How long till the forbidden eclipse begin?" He asked as Legion stretched his hands towards the roof of the cavern.

Boom!

A large pillar of purple flames shot out of Daniel's palm and tore through the roof before bursting out of the desert ground overhead.

Rocks, debris, and sand rained from above as Daniel saw a truck-sized hole appear in the cavern roof.

"When the blue moon gets in between the black sun and this planet, then the forbidden eclipse shall occur. We will retrieve those drops of blood when these three mystical bodies are just about to begin intersecting."

"So, we are here to monitor the exact moment when the intersection is about to happen?" Daniel is more inferred than ask.

"Yes. It would all be clear when the summoning ritual begins." Legion responded with a mischievous smile.

Whilst the blue moon and the black sun gradually close in on their respective positions, Legion continued to give Daniel more information on what they were about to do, and the role Daniel had to play in the entire picture.

Then just like that, time flowed by like a leaf being tossed by a gentle wind, and soon enough, the time to begin the ritual came upon them.

"It's time." Legion suddenly said.

Daniel, on the other hand, looked straight into the sky, and true enough, the blue moon had made its way around the planet and was gradually falling in between the black sun and the planet itself.

~ Swish! ~

Purple flames erupted and covered Daniel's entire body, and by the time it vanished, Daniel's body was nowhere to be found.

~ Whoosh! ~

Purple flames flared to life at the bottom of the ocean, and Daniel once again reappeared, and when he gazed at the center of the formation, his previously golden drop of blood had turned into a blue stone with tiny rainbow runes streaking all over it.

With a wave of his hand, the stone flew into Daniel's hands and after ensuring that the stone had truly been completely transformed, Daniel's body vanished once again, as the parted waters of the ocean collided and returned back to normal.

Few seconds after they left the bottom of the ocean, Daniel appeared at the northernmost part of the planet to retrieve the other stone that had been absorbing the energy of the midnight sun.

Waving his hand once again, a black stone flew into his palm, but this time, it had several negative rainbow-colored runes all over it.

After teleporting for the last time, they reappeared at the geocentric core of the planet, and Legion slotted the black stone in the north slot and the blue stone in the south, and lastly, the clear crystal gem at the center.

"Preparations are complete, we can now begin." Legion said before slitting Daniel's wrist and allowing his blood to gush freely onto the formation that surrounded the altar.

The blood flowed through all the lines and runes on the formation, and the moment they joined together.

Bang!

A mini explosion reverberated through the cavern as the entire formation lit up red, and a suction force erupted from the entire platform.

Rumble! Rumble!

Several rumbling sounds spread through the cavern as the lava beneath the platform began to erupt whilst several yellow-colored energy gather around the formation, causing it to emit an increasingly humming sound.

Daniel watched the yellow energy mix with his blood, turning it into a blood-red energy that gathered across the formation and flowed into the pitch-black altar, lighting up all the runes and inscriptions etched all over it.

The stones on the altar then began to absorb the energy, cracking them and causing them to release several types of liquid energy that had been stored within them.

These liquid energies of different colors then flowed into the clear crystal stone at the center, and the moment they lost their entire luster, the stones cracked and shattered into fine particles that blew off the platform, leaving a gem in the center that had the color of an entire galaxy.

"The timing is perfect." Legion said as he looked into the sky, where the blue moon had just slotted itself perfectly between the black sun and the planet.

"And thus begins the forbidden eclipse!"

Legion roared as the black sun shot out a massive pillar of black light the size of an entire planet, into the blue moon, and gradually two black rings began to appear around the moon causing it to look like the planet Saturn.
