Lord Valpak

"The timing is perfect," Legion said as he looked into the sky, where the blue moon had just slotted itself perfectly between the black sun and the planet.

"And thus begins the forbidden eclipse!"

Legion roared as the black sun shot out a massive pillar of black light the size of an entire planet, into the blue moon, and gradually two black rings began to appear around the moon causing it to look like the planet Saturn.

These two black rings then began to rotate and revolve around the blue moon, causing a massive energy fluctuation to build up within it.

Then when the fluctuation reached its peak, another massive pillar of blue-black light that resembled the darkest night shot out of the moon and approached the altar where the hovering cosmic-colored gem was currently rotating.

The gem then began to gobble up the energy the dark energy and began to vibrate and hum with a deafening sound.

Waves of tyrannical energies then began to ripple out of the gem as it kept on gobbling up the black energy, and after about seven hours, the forbidden eclipse finally ended, and the last bit of dark energy entered it.

Daniel looked into the gem and realized that all the energies within it seemed to be battling for supremacy, causing the gem to shake violently whilst the humming sound reach an all-time high.

Then just as the reaction reached its peak; Kaboom!

To the physical realm, it was silent, but in the ethereal realm, it was like every single nuclear and atomic explosive on every planet went off at the same time.

This ripple phased past Daniel's body and blasted off into the horizon, leaving the clear crystal gem in its wake.

"So, the hunt begins, mwah ha-ha-ha!" Legion's roaring laughter echoed across the cavern as he watched the supernova energy disappear into the distance.

Meanwhile, the moment the explosion went off, the ripple of its shockwave spread in every single direction possible, washing over everything in its path; be it living or inanimate; plants, fishes, all the marine beasts within the ocean, and even some carcasses, and it still didn't stop there.

It rippled out of the sea, covering everything in its path including all the civilians that were busy gossiping about Daniel's encounter a few days ago.

It then took to the skies, and towards every nook and cranny of the planet, and when it was done, a very tiny and almost negligible star came alive and hovered atop the altar like a star in space.

The ripple then left the planet and entered the two neighboring planets on either side.

It repeated the same process and continued, entering and washing over everything in its path, until it passed through any and everything hovering in and around the solar system.

With every planet the energy washed over, another tiny star would come alive with a different color, and hover around the altar until more of a cosmos was formed around the altar; containing trillions of galaxies that had billions of stars within them.

It took about a solid day before the ripples returned to their source covering the cosmos revolving around the altar and dragging everything in sight into the crystal-clear gem.

Daniel looked at the gem which seemed to hold all the stars in existence and the pitch-black ring that surrounded it like the planet Saturn.

Boom!

Another ripple spread out, and every living being on the planet, and every other planet that ripple had been to, felt something leave their bodies; the feeling felt unexplainable and none of them could tell what it was.

It seemed pretty harmless to their entire well-being, but they all felt like they had lost a fraction of something very important to them.

The gem then began to rotate and pick up speed and when it reached a certain point, it suddenly stilled, and everything went silent.

"Mission accomplished!" Legion said as he walked over to the altar and picked the Saturn-like object.

He floated off the platform and waved his hands and everything vanished, and seconds later, Daniel's body also disappeared, and everything looked like nothing ever happened.

~ Swish! ~

Legion and Daniel who were within the soul world suddenly felt the separated fragment of their soul return to their body.

"Alright kid, it's time to say your goodbyes to this world." Daniel looked at Legion and shook his head.

"There's nothing else for me here; just like you've said earlier; the energy has stolen every memory any and everyone on this planet has about me."

"Aiya, that did happen," Legion said face-palming himself.

"Alright then, it's time to leave."

Legion then waved his hands as the water on the clear part of the ocean encased Daniel's entire soul body in a blue thin membrane while Legion's body was covered in a blood-red membrane.

Then with a wave of his hands, the entire soul world shrunk at an untraceable speed, before flying into Legion's body, and moments later, the duo was nowhere to be seen.

The moment Daniel and Legion's souls reappeared; the sound of lashings followed by what seemed to be the deepest voice Daniel had ever boomed across their location.

"On your feet, maggot!" The voice said followed by the sound of a spine-chilling whiplash.

"Argh!" Daniel jumped and crawled backward as he got the fright of his life. What he was looking at, right now, was something straight out of horror movies.

Standing a few meters from him, was a demon soul that had a six-inch curled horn jutting out of its forehead.

The demon looked towards Daniel and frowned slightly, then he looked to the other figure floating calmly by the side, and the moment their gaze met, the demon's eyes widened in shock as his body trembled slightly.

The demon hurriedly bowed in reverence as he bellowed.

"This insignificant and pays his respect to Lord Valpak!"

The moment the other demons in the area heard the booming salutation, they looked toward the source of the voice and saw the person in charge of their troop bowing reverently to a figure cloaked in a blood-red membrane.

At first, they frowned, then when they saw the figure's face, they all instantly knelt, trembling in fright as they all chorused.

"We pay our respects to Lord Valpak!" Legion simply looked at the demons and casually waved his hands, signifying them to carry on with their jobs.

The demons rose and glanced towards the soul sitting on the ground in shock, and after sparring him a curious gaze, they looked at each other nodded, and carried on with their jobs whilst gossiping amongst themselves.

"Who is that soul?"

"To have Lord Valpak personally escort him to the Netherworld, he must have either done something really bad in his lifetime to catch the attention of the demon lord." They gossiped amongst themselves whilst stealing one or two glances at Daniel.

After reeling from his initial fright, Daniel finally managed to muster enough strength to rise to his feet, whilst Legion simply looked at him with an amused smile.

Daniel continued to look around as he noticed that there were others around, but there seemed to be something wrong with all of them.

They were all transparent to some extent with varying colors. Some of them were white, some were black, some were red, and so on, but they were all floating and all human-sized.

"Are these souls? Is this hell?"

"Of course, this is hell; Where else would there be demons, an infinite number of souls left and right, and immense heat radiating from these raging flames billowing in every direction."

Daniel muttered as he saw the host of soul bodies, filing in an orderly manner and marching into the distance which was farther than his eyes could see.

These souls were just like herds of sheep, docile and with the expression on their faces somewhat lost and exhausted.

He would hear occasional whiplashes and some miserable shrieks, and on other occasions, some didn't even make any type of sound which meant only one thing; they were dead!

"Yes, this is hell, but we are currently at the outskirts of its lowest plane," Legion answered as his gaze traveled all over the place.

"The Outskirts of hell's lowest plane?" Daniel, who was in shock, asked absentmindedly as he gazed all over the place.

The area they were in was so vast, that he felt like he was standing in the middle of all the oceans on his planet combined.

However, instead of water, it was filled with souls and demons, and instead of clouds; he could only see what looked like massive rivers of raging flames dying his vision in red.
