Chapter Forty Three

Ephraim appeared back in his room to find the sleeping beauty,he discarded his clothes and went for a cold shower.Euphorial turned on the bed when she heard the running water before falling asleep again.

Ephraim came out of the bathroom wearing a sleeping pant before lying beside Euporial.He drew her sleeping figure into his arms and he rested his jaw on her head.

He recalled what happened at the palace and he tightened his grip on her.He doesn't even know what is wrong with him again,what made him compare his Euphy with another woman he can't say,if it was because of his lust for her,her enchanting beauty,his hunger,the demon in him or because of his developing feelings for her,he can not say.He really needs to go to the black market to feed because his hunger is taking over him slowly.He couldn't control his thoughts then when he saw his beauty half naked breasts that time because of his thirst for sex and a witch blood,and she happened to be his mate and coincidentally a partial witch at that.He must feed before the wedding day or else he will end up doing something dark to his innocent Euphy.Ephraim stayed like that,continue thinking until morning came because he couldn't sleep.

He released his grip on her when he heard her fast beating heart,an indication that she is waking up.

"Good morning beauty" he greeted her when she opened her eyes that was still filled with sleep.He felt his heart skip a beat when she flutter her lashes to make the sleep go away.

'Ephraim good morning' Euphorial answered as her eyes unconsciously trailed down to his naked chest when she felt the heat coming from him.

He gulped immediately he saw her eyes looking at his chest with obvious lust and a dark image came to his mind.The image of him pinning her under him as the morning sun shines on her naked skin while he...

He quickly clear his throat to take away his mind from his dark thoughts which also called Euphorial's attention back to his face.Euphorial blushed when she became aware that she had been caught staring at him lustfully.He shouldn't blame her,it was the first time she was seeing a man half naked and not just any other man but the one she likes.

"I want to let you know that i will be going to the black market for business and i will be back before father in-law arrival" Ephraim said to her as he uses his hand to smoothen her tangled blond hair.

'Father will be coming two days before our wedding' Euphorial reminded.

"I know that is why i said i will be back before that" he said as he pecked her forehead before he stood up to shower and set out leaving her.

Kayla came to the room to check up on her and dress her up,she sighed when she saw her friend in a low spirit.

'Cheer up,he won't be gone forever' Kayla tried to ginger her friend.

"I feel like he is avoiding me again.Why will he go to the black market when he should be preparing for our marriage?".Euphorial sulked.

Kayla smiled at her and said 'You don't have to worry about him i'm sure he has his own reasons for going out.Don't feel lonely,you have me,the princesses and her majesty to take care of you'.

"That's true i shouldn't be down because Ephraim is busy.I should get used to it now because of the future,when he becomes the king" Euphorial encouraged herself.

'Good,you are now in line.Now stand straight,i will be tying the straps at your back' kayla informed.

At the entrance,Ephraim and his twelve army stood at the gate with their horses.The soldiers continue to share meaningful gazes when they saw their prince looking at the mansion as if he was expecting someone to come out.They didn't needed to be told,their prince was waiting for the soon to be princess which is a new thing for them,the first vampire prince waiting for someone.

After Euphorial dressed up,Geyra informed her that her brother and his people are still present in the compound and she went out to check and say goodbye.

Ephraim smiled brightly when he saw the one he had been expecting coming and he extended his hand for her to hold when she got nearer.

'You are going now,aren't you suppose to have breakfast?' Euphorial asked concerned.

"I don't really need food as long as i'm not thirsty.One more thing,don't go out the house since i'm not around.The compound and the mansion is save no one can come inside without you or any of my family inviting them in.The compound has been secured with my magic so keep yourself save before i come back in six days time" he said as he drew her in for a hug before his subordinates.He really will be missing the feeling of her in his arms for the main time he thought before he sniffed her scent.

Euphorial blushed shly before she patted his back has she had been told before to do.She then bid him goodbye when he broke away from her.
