Chapter Forty Four

'Quickly pack those things the first vampire prince is coming.Throw all those flowers away he doesn't like it!!!' An inn owner at a particular place in a black market shouted at his workers when he heard that the first prince is coming with his soldiers.

Everybody knows about the first vampire prince since he is the sole owner of the black market.No one among the noble smugglers doesn't know about the most dangerous vampire ever with his strong twelve army.

The inn owner came back to check the room of the dangerous prince and he nodded in satisfaction when everything else seem to be to the prince taste.

'Prepare rooms for his soldiers.I don't need to tell you what to do again with the rooms since it is not the first time they will be coming here' The inn owner said as he shook his head in annoyance.If his inn had not been the best,the prince would not have liked coming here.There was nothing he could do unless he stop those witches from coming to his inn but that will indirectly stop the prince and his army from feeding which will have him killed instantly.There was nothing he could do,he only have to accept his fate (he sighed in pity).

'Sir,we have prepared the twelve rooms,should we start the party?' A servant asked the innkeeper.

'Let me have a look at the rooms' he ordered as he followed the servant.

'It is perfect,I'm sure they will like it.Take me to the party room,i want to know the vibes it is giving' The innkeeper asked his servant.

'Good.It looked dark enough and i like the witches you prepared for the prince,they are of his taste' the innkeeper said as he looked at the pretty witches who left the magical realm to explore the world without knowing how it works.

Ephraim,his aide and his twelve army got down from their horses the next morning.He patted his horse as he communicate with him to be good with the one that will take care of him and his horse huffed at him.After he finished his conversation,he gave the rein to the inn owner assistant who quickly took over because he knows how bad the first vampire prince horse can be.

The innkeeper who had been outside immediately bowed in respect before showing him and his soldiers to their rooms.

On their way to the rooms,the inn owner cleared his throat because he wants to call the guests attention to him.

'There will be a welcoming party for you and your soldiers,the important black marketers have been invited' the innkeeper said to them.

'We will be there for the party if you have the norms' Damon replied the owner.

'Yehhhhh,the party was organized according to the prince taste.The usual is there for him' the innkeeper reassured them as they got to the passage that leads to their rooms.

'Thank you,we will proceed from here since the whole floor has been booked by us' one of the soldiers said when they felt their prince annoyance.

The innkeeper bowed and he went on his way to attend to the other customers.

Ephraim layed on the bed when he got to the room.He is feeling tired these days because he hasn't fed and also he had been working consistently without pause because of him trying to avoid Euphy.He smiled satisfied when he remembered how Euphorial patted his back when he hugged her before setting out for the black market yesterday's morning.He closed his eyes to sleep and rest for the days he had been awake and away from his room.

Knock,knock,knock,knock,knock.....

Damon knocked on the prince door when the sun began to set.He had come to inform the prince of the evening party because his mind seem to be absent when the inn owner was talking.

'My prince can i come in?' Damon asked and the went in when he heard his words [come in] in his head.

'Prince Ephraim,there is a masquerade party organized for you this evening.This is the cloth you will be wearing' Damon told him as he created a mask for him that will go along his dark red suit.

Ephraim stood up on his feat to dress up.He nodded at his aide for them to move out after tying his half mask.His soldiers joined him when they saw him going,they all wore red suits with black masks the only difference with their prince is that,they looked less intimidating individually.

The party room become silent when the first prince and his army entered the hall.Every creatures in the room looked at the new people in horror,their stance and aura scream dominance and power.

The innkeeper who noticed how the room is quickly distracted all of them by asking the chosen witches,vampires and humans to start dancing.

Ephraim sat on his assigned seat while resting his head on his palm as he looked at the dancing creatures.The humans looked pathetic to him,the witches looked less alluring and the vampires looked unseductive to him.Everything looked meaningless to him but he have to pick one of the witches so that he can feed.

The guests all clapped when the beauties finished their performance and they start picking their choice.

A girl who looked a bit like Euphorial locked eyes with Ephraim after the dance.Even though she is a witch,her witchy seduction has not been working on the handsome man with dangerous aura,which is a first time to her.Instead of seducing him,she has been seduced by him.

Ephraim looked back at the witch because of her loud thoughts which reached him before going out to clear his mind while being followed by her.
