After 1 year of training, Jack was already stronger than everyone in the gym, this was abnormal, but the person who brought Jack into this world should have done something that changed people's perception.

During that time, Jack made the most of his free time to learn about all the heroes and mutants he knew, so he understood how this world was different from all the stories he knew.

The superheroes could be the same, what changed was the initial timeline, in 2001, Tony Stark had already become Iron Man, and the fight against Obadiah Stane had already happened, but Tony Stark in that universe did not reveal that he was the Iron Man.

Thor had also already come to earth, so he should have already lost and regained the right to Mjolnir, Thor should also have defeated the destroyer, defeated Loki, and broken the Bifröst Bridge.

Spider-man had already faced the Green Goblin and other villains several times, but his identity was still secret, so Jack imagined that Doctor Strange should also have appeared, but the media still didn't know him.

The Hulk was also known, but the events of Avengers had not yet happened and Jack didn't even know if they would, mutants also existed, and some were known by the media.

So Jack came to the conclusion that in this universe, all heroes had appeared at the same time, only some like Thor or Ant-Man should have existed a long time ago.

Jack thought this was very good, after all the comics and the movies had a big difference in time between them, some heroes appeared before 1970, so if they existed, in 2002 they would be very old today.

Jack also wouldn't have to wait several years to meet other heroes that would take a while to appear in the movies like Iron Man, Thor, and Doctor Strange.

After that year of training, Jack decided that he would start facing some bandits to earn some fate points, he used his bracelet to hack the local police radio, so he would know when a crime was happening.

Jack knew he didn't have the skills or courage to face armed bandits, so he looked for information on bandits who used knives or who were unarmed, these were Jack's targets.

Jack bought a mask to hide his face and wore an outfit with a bulletproof vest, this was the uniform he would use to become a kind of vigilante.

The system warned that with the vest, Jack would only die if he wasn't shot in the head or neck, if he was hit elsewhere, he would recover in a few days with his recovery capacity being increased by training.

Jack waited for a while and soon heard on the police radio that near him there was a robbery in a store, the bandit was using a knife and had threatened the store employee.

Jack soon approached the store and saw the bandit running away with a bag full of money and a knife in his hand, Jack was not afraid and quickly approached the bandit.

The bandit saw him and pointed the knife at Jack while trying to escape, Jack didn't hesitate and kicked the bandit's arm, the bandit didn't expect Jack to attack himself seeing the knife and got scared.

Jack's kick dropped the knife from the bandit's hand and broke his hand, after all, it was a kick using all of Jack's strength, so Jack approached the bandit who was scared with pain, and tied his hands using a handcuff he had bought.

The store employee saw that the crook had been arrested and fearfully approached Jack.

"Call the police, they know about your shop robbery, you can take the bag with your money," Jack said to the store owner.

"Yes, thanks for helping me, I would be fired if the crook made off with the money." The store employee grabbed the bag of money and ran to the store to call the police.

Jack hit the thug on the neck to make him pass out and soon left before the police arrived, he didn't want to be questioned and didn't think he would gain praise from the police for attacking a thug.

Jack went outside and waited around until the police arrived, when he saw the police coming, Jack went outside and looked at the system to see that he had gained 100 fate points.

100 fate points to catch a criminal, a bandit wielding a knife must be the weakest possible criminal, so he would have to catch a thousand bandits to have 100,000 fate points.

Seeing this, Jack realized that without facing villains with superpowers or engaging with other heroes, it would take him years to recover 100,000 fate points.

Jack knew that with his current strength, it would be difficult to die if he didn't face a bomb or was very unlucky, so he decided that he should approach one of the superheroes to see if he could earn more fate points.

It would take him more than 1 year to have a skin with enough defense to protect himself from a bullet, so he didn't want to waste another 1 year in Boston, otherwise, it would be too late if some supervillain appeared to try to dominate the world.

Jack returned home and soon packed his things, he already knew which hero he should approach, and Jack used his bracelet to schedule a plane ticket to New York.
