Peter Parker 1

Jack arrived in New York and was excited to see this city again, he came here a few times in his previous world, and even though it was 2002, New York still had some things that felt special.

After thinking for almost 1 year while training, Jack knew which hero he would have a greater opportunity to approach, after all, many heroes were being watched by the government and Tony Stark had not revealed that he was Iron Man.

Even if Tony revealed that he was Iron Man, Jack had no confidence that he would be able to approach him, after all, Tony was always arrogant, so if he was not a woman and not rich, it was difficult to be friends with him.

Thor was no longer on Earth and it would also be difficult to get close to him, the mutants would not trust Jack, after all, he was not a mutant like them, and even if he was he would have to choose one of the sides.

Jack could approach the Fantastic Four, but he knew that they faced very powerful villains that the 4 superheroes needed to unite to defeat, Jack knew that one of these villains could end up killing him.

So Jack thought it would be better if he approached Spider-Man, after all, Jack knew that Spider-Man had one of the best personalities among the heroes, so it was easier to approach him.

More importantly, Jack was one of the only people in this universe who knew that Spider-Man was Peter Parker, knowing the secret identity that Peter Parker was trying to hide made it much easier to approach him and gain Peter's trust.

Jack also knew that most of the villains that Peter faced were very difficult for him to face, after all, many of them flew or had some power that made it difficult to face them just using physical strength.

But Jack thought he could at least take on some normal thugs and help Spider-Man, so he could try to gain some extra fate points just by being around Spider-Man just like the person who brought him into this world said.

Also, Jack thought that it would be much easier to get close to other heroes while he was already friends with Spider-Man, so if some big villain came along to try to destroy the earth, Jack would be able to get involved more easily.

Having decided to do so, Jack looks up the names of Peter Parker and May Parker in the phone book and soon finds their address in Queens, so Jack looks for a house near them to rent and soon finds it.

After moving to the new house, Jack realizes why Peter Parker tries so hard to hide his real identity, after all, Jack thought that Spider-Man faced the most difficult villains in Marvel for an ordinary person to face.

If these villains found out his real name, they could find his address easily just like he did, as Peter wasn't rich like Tony Stark, his family, and friends would have no protection from villains.

Right after Jack moved into his new house, he went to the house where Peter Parker lived with May Parker, he went in the afternoon because he knew Peter wouldn't be at his house, he wanted to understand more at what stage of life Spider-Man was.

Jack bought a basket of food in a store to give as a gift and knocked on the door of Peter Parker's house, soon May Parker opened the door and Jack saw a lady who was over 50 years old open the door.

So Jack knew he wouldn't be like Spider-Man from the Marvel movies, Jack said that because when he found a picture of Tony Stark, surprisingly it was the same appearance as actor Robert Downey Jr.

Of course, the actor looked many years younger, so Jack understood that whoever created this universe he was in may have brought some of the actors he knew to be superheroes or villains.

So Jack imagined that actor would be the Peter Parker he knew, at least Aunt May looked like the actress from the first Spider-Man movie with actor Tobey Maguire.

Jack at least hoped that the Spider-Man he found was Tobey Maguire, even if he also liked the other actors, his favorite was certainly Spider-Man from the first film.

"Hi, I'm Jack Shaw, I moved in nearby yesterday and wanted to visit some neighbors, I remembered Peter said he lived here and came to visit."

"Oh, are you Peter's friend? Thanks for stopping by, come in, let's talk." Aunt May, who found Jack's visit suspicious, soon invited him in when she saw the gift basket and learned that he knew Peter.

"I went to school with Peter, but I had to move a few years ago, after finishing school I decided to go back to New York to work, and Peter what is he doing? Still studying?" Jack asked.

"Yes, Peter went to Empire State University on a science scholarship after leaving school, even though he is studying he still works to help me pay the bills here at home."

"I am happy to hear that Peter managed to get into university, Peter was always very responsive and spoke a lot about you and his uncle when we were at school, I hope to see him soon," Jack said while pretending to remember the past that didn't exist.

Jack talked for some time with Aunt May, he talks well with the elderly because he was always grateful to the people who took care of him at the orphanage, so Aunt May soon liked him and said more things about Peter.

After Jack left Aunt May's house he soon began to think about what he had to do, he knew what part of history Peter Parker was in, Jack knew that Spider-Man had already faced most of the villains.

Jack hoped that most of the comic book villains would not appear, after all, if all the villains appeared, he would be fighting them for years even without the arrival of aliens or supervillains that came from space or other universes.

After arriving home Jack looked at his bracelet only to be startled to realize that his Fate Points had increased by a thousand just for meeting and talking to Aunt May.

This made Jack sure that he made the right decision in coming to New York, he could still increase his strength here and he would gain much more fate points just by being around Spider-Man.
