I used to really like war simulation games back in my old world. I am pretty good at strategizing and planing and the war instigated by me is one of the most amazing things I have managed to pull off.

I sent a letter to Bai clan and told them about how I am a rank 4 wisdom path demonic cultivator and expressed my willingness to join the clan. I wrote down the detailed information of the future raid Gu Yue will do, how I destroyed the Gu Yue clan's spirit spring and the entire Gu storage of Xiong clan, along with the troop numbers.

In total Xiong clan and Gu Yue clan have 2 rank 4s, 20 rank 3s, 108 rank 2s and 330 rank 1s. Bai clan only has 1 rank 4, 14 rank 3s, 63 rank 2s and 204 rank 1s. It is the strongest clan on Qing Mao mountain, but it isn't stronger than the other two combined.

If they get a second rank 4 and their enemies wear eachother out, then they will most definitely attack and claim victory. My goal is to exterminate Gu Yue, so Fang Yuan's aperture stays at below 50%. There is no plot armor in Reverend Insanity, so Fang Yuan will have no choice but to back off and deal with low talent. I refuse to believe he can randomly find talent Gu for himself!

for Now I'll report to the clan leader and claim my reward. My plans are already set, and well hidden. No one can expose me, especially because I used a rank 4 Gu worm. Which rank 2 possesses or even can use a rank 4 Gu? No one! Not even me. I'm lucky Attitude Gu doesn't requires any Primeval essence and only consumes mental energy, which I have nearly infinite of.

I'll just keep it on my face at all times. The only downside can be negated if I don't actively use it and only use it to passively enhance my ability to express emotions.

This attitude Gu is almost meant for my perpetual motion Gu. Good thing, as I have finally reached the clan leader's residence. The house is fairly big and is made out of sparkle jade Bamboo, compared to the normally used green bamboo and earth wood. Earth wood and green bamboo are common rank 1 materials, but sparkle jade bamboo is a rank 3 Gu material, which is relatively uncommon. Using it to make a house is too extravagant in my opinion.

Still, who am I to judge. None of this is important to me and I will almost never use these materials. I was about to knock on the wet stone door of the elder hall when I heard Gu Yue Bo say "No need to knock. You can come in."

Quite a cliche method of applying mental pressures, but it is still solid. Still, I am a defiant barbarian, I cant follow orders that straightforwardly, so I still knocked on the door before entering.

I bent my right knee and said "Greetings to lord clan leader and clan elder's. I have com back from the mission you have given me with positive news. I met a lone cultivator on my mission and he promised to help me after I saved his life. He had been injured after fighting a rank 4 golden pheasant and turned out to be a rank 4 Gu master as well. He promised to help destroy the ancestry hall of Xiong clan to repay my favour and I saw him a couple hours ago. He came back with positive news and said all 7 Gu storage rooms of Xiong clan have been destroyed and he even killed one of the clan elder's!"

I made this up to cover my tracks. Worst case scenario, they think I have a rank 4 backer, which is still beneficial for me, as they will not take away my reward. Hey 780 Gu points is 780 Gu points.

The clan leader's eyes lit up as he probably cursed me for wasting such a huge favour and forcing Xiong clan into a desperate state. The clan leader originally only wanted me to destroy the ancestry hall, as that would decrease the enemies moral and make them split their attention, as they would think there is an inside threat.

They will split their forces and keep a portion in the clan at all times, so Gu Yue can overwhelm the Xiong clan warriors with less casualties, but now they are desperate and will do exactly what Gu Yue has done, fight desperately. The clan leader won't even consider the fact, that this could all be my plan and will think of it as an accident, while Bai clan will think this is a plot of a mysterious rank 4 lone Gu master, who wants to help Bai clan in exchange for a rank 4 Gu worm.

No one suspects me, no one will suspect me and no Tie Ruo Nan or anyone to annoy me. Even if they come, what can they do? My brother will be invincible among rank 4s and even be able to stand against rank 5s by the time she and the devine Investigator even start thinking about attacking this village.

I am not short sighted and don't even give a shit about the rank 5 inheritance of blood sea ancestor beneath this clan. Fang Yuan can have all the Gu worms there. Right now, I am more interested in what this old monk will say.

Gu Yue Bo looked at me with furrowed brows and said "Quite an interesting situation. As I promised, I will give you the rank 3 Gu worm and you may now leave."

I got my 360 Gu points and left. Hah! They tempered with this Gu worm! It has a rank 1 wisdom path Gu worm called subservient thought Gu, which feeds on willful thoughts and produces subservient thoughts. Quite a genius idea. Provide me useful tools and slip in on the side effects to make me easier to control. Too bad this Gu worm increases my gain from 360 to 370, which isn't a huge difference, but I can appreciate the small things in life.

Sure Subservient thoughts Gu is a wisdom path Gu worm, but I don't have a lot of wisdom path Dao mark and this is a pretty crappy Gu. I would rather have something like golden thought or burning thought or sharp thought. Those can do some real damage, but I am not a full Wisdom path Gu master yet, so I shouldn't use them for now. I prefer a Luck path Gu worm I thought of called plot armor Gu. It's not what you think, trust me.

A short explanation: it uses luck to protect you. This is dodge type protection, but I have no luck path attainment, so this plan can't be executed yet. Luckily(heh) there is an alternative solution.

There is also a Gu worm called solid luck Qi Gu worm. It provides Qi path protection using luck path. This might be complicated, but it will make sense in a bit. The key factor is a Gu worm called overwhelm Gu, which is rule path.

All of these Gu worms and a few supplementary Gu worms can be combined to make a special absolute protection shield from luck, projected as Qi, which can defend against any path, as long as their luck is inferior to mine, or they don't use a over-rank killer move. I can, quite literally, be invincible as long as I use this. If a over-rank, I will block it, but I will suffer a backlash and all of these Gu worms will die, which isn't that big of a deal for me, but that is still about 50/500/5k/50k/500k Gu points down the drain.

It will still cost a lot of same rank primeval essence too. Each activation of golden clover shield will cost 40% of the same same rank initial stage primeval essence, so I can barely use this, in theory, 5 times. Sadly, it can effectively only be used twice during an actual battle.

Let's test it out, shall we? My brother has finished his cultivation, I have practiced this move enough and I have two sets on me at all times. A week has passed since I met the clan leader and got my reward and today is the last day I spend in this clan. This is a decisive battle and it will finish my stay in this clan. I am not stupid, my plans might fail and I do not want to stay here, as lord sky crane is coming and who knows what first gen Gu Yue will do.

My dad and mum are not willing to leave the clan and follow me on my journey, heck they want to fight for the clan. It makes me sad, but I have to leave them. The Wang family and Gu Yue Gon Tu are willing to come, Gong Zhu squad is ready, Fang Yuan has already been marked(rip 6k Gu points!) and my brother has rank 4 attack strength, while I have absolute defense. We can leave at any moment, but I am staying behind to make sure this war goes smoothly.

The beast tide, from my observations, will happen in 3 weeks, so Bai clan Isn't overly vigilant about that. My friends are waiting for me near the bottom of the Qing Mao mountain. With Chun Jack and Guts there, I can be fully at ease. I can say this, with full confidence and a face full of smile. Goodbye Qing Mao mountain! Your destruction will be beautiful!
