Train

1 September 1938, London.

Jack Frost and Tom Marvolo Riddle were pulling their trunks through King Cross Station's long platform. Their expressions were different, as Tom appeared to be in excitement and unable to calm down, speeding ahead of Jack.

As he saw passing soldiers and various black and white posters and banners in the platform's columns stating the royal army's conscription, Jack looked solemn.

He can see the looming shadow of war enveloping the entire nation and the world. All it takes is a spark to set everything ablaze.

Jack had a feeling that history and war would not take the same path he knew.

Simply put, by taking into account a variety of factors and forces hidden in the shadows. Jack had lost his advantage from knowing the future; he could only increase his strength to a certain level, so he can be unconcerned about anything.

Now, as he walked through the bustling crowds and classic black steam train emitting steam, Jack concentrated on the situation in front of him. The entire era's style and vibe was simply addicting to Jack; he didn't know why, but he liked it a lot.

And there was a freaking bald eagle on his shoulder; Jack didn't even frown as a result, and the sharp nails of the eagle's leg didn't scratch his skin or dress in the least. He named it Axel.

This is due to the change that is taking place in Jack.

Jack had already discovered that his body strength were increasing day by day, without him doing anything, just like his magical powers. Even though it was slow, it never stopped growing, as if it could grow "infinitely."

This situation perplexed him greatly; he wanted to know the cause and specifics. But he didn't know where to begin; he didn't have the funds to purchase the necessary medical and scientific equipment; and even if he did, the equipment currently available would be insufficient.

So he can go find a way in the magical path, which is also the only way he can progress on his path to becoming stronger.

However, he has a rough guess that it is primarily due to the concept of infinity that is affecting him.

But he couldn't figure out how "infinity" existed within him and affected him; was it in the form of a divinity, like the gods? Or in a different way?

This entire situation perplexed him and left him with a plethora of unanswered questions.

He can only hope that he will find some answers to his questions at Hogwarts, which is a veritable treasure trove of knowledge.

Tom's yells interpreted his thoughts.

"Frost, could you please stop going into your trance? And concentrate here." Tom stated in a single breath and while standing in front of him. He took a deep breath and said in a solemn tone.

"I believe we are lost." His face was becoming pale, and there was also a sign of panic in his eyes. "For there is no platform, No. 9 & 3/4."

Jack laughed, seeing him like this and hearing his words, it was too funny to see him act like this, one could not imagine the future dark lord acting like this.

"I'm dead serious, Frost!" After hearing his laugh, Tom pressed with an irritated face.

"Come on, come on." Jack smiled as he walked forward. He didn't explain anything and simply asked him to accompany him. Tom hesitated, but continued to walk alongside him.

They soon found themselves in front of the third column, which stood between platforms 9 and 10.

"Why did you come to a halt here?" Tom inquired, perplexed, as he continued to be perplexed by frost's strange actions.

Dumbledore had previously informed Jack of this location, even though Jack was aware of it; however, at the time, Tom was too lazy to pay attention to them and was busy purchasing other items.

But before Jack could respond, he was interpreted by another voice.

"Do you require help?" A teen girl with blonde hair and brown eyes stood behind them, holding a trunk similar to theirs and a wand in her pocket.

"Are you a first-year student at Hogwarts?" She asked another question right away.

"Senior, yes." Tom responded immediately, guessing that the girl in front of him was most likely a senior. "We'd also appreciate some assistance." He responded politely.

When he heard Tom's words, Jack rolled his eyes. He didn't stop him, though, as he was curious about who this senior was.

"We got lost." Jack also echoed Tom, causing Tom to stare at him strangely.

"It's not a problem." She burst out laughing. "A lot of students from muggle world get lost a lot." She then turned to face the pillar. "At the very least, you made it here." She then took a breather after noticing something. "Oh, I haven't yet introduced myself."

"My name is Augusta Longbottom, and I am a fourth-year Gryffindor."

"It's Jack Frost."

"It's Tom Riddle."

They introduced themselves, and while Jack knew this girl before him, she is most likely Neville Longbottom's grandmother in the future. While, he had the impression that he would see a lot of familiar faces at Hogwarts.

He also didn't see the contempt that a pure-blood should have when they meet saw a muggle wizard, the discrimination should be far worse during this time.

"Listen up, and keep right behind me!" Augusta spoke with enthusiasm. "Don't pause; run straight to the column." She walked to the front and turned to face them.

"But that is a..." Tom wanted to argue.

"Follow me!" However, Augusta had already begun running towards the pillar.

Jack took the trunk and ran behind her without hesitation. Tom sighed and followed him; after all, he couldn't stand here all day hesitating.

Both Jack and Augusta vanished before Tom's eyes, having entered the pillar in an rather unscientific manner.

When Tom saw this, he accelerated and dashed into the pillar and disappeared like them.

People walked by without paying attention or ignoring them from the start, as if they couldn't see or hear them.

Jack found himself on a different platform with a red train and various families with their children. There were also four fireplaces, which were most likely the floo, and many arrived through it a burst of green flames.

"All right, guys."

"I'll see you at Hogwarts." Augusta waved with her hand at them. "My friend is here; I'm pretty sure you can find your way on your own; if you run into any problems, don't be afraid to ask the seniors." Her voice faded as she walked away with her friend.

Jack waved back, and he guessed Augusta must be a perfect based on how she acts.

"All right, let's go." Tom spoke up and began walking towards the train, where he boarded it, with Jack close behind.

They made their way into a compartment, with many other students following in their hallway, which was filled with laughter and arguments.

After entering the compartment after Tom, Jack closed the door and sat by the window, facing Tom, who sat in another seat ahead of him. He could see families conversing with their children, wizards passing by on occasion, and a group of teenagers tagging along.

He took a book "History of the magical world", "Transfiguration; a detailed introduction" from his trunk to read the first one.

"So, which house do you think you'll be sorted into?" Tom was the first to speak, holding the book about Hogwarts and the pure blood families that he had borrowed from him previously.

"To be honest, I'm not sure." While he was aware, Jack responded in this way, he could be a Ravenclaw or a Slytherin. Even though he appears to be have qualities of a Ravenclaw, knowledge is simply a means of obtaining greater power, so the chances of him going to Slytherin are very high.

"However, I believe Slytherin are the best fit for you." He stated this while staring at Tom. It is, indeed, the best and most appropriate house for Tom.

"However, the pureblood..." When Tom mentioned this, his face became gloomy. When he went through the history of Hogwarts and the magical world, he could clearly assess his situation and the magical world as well.

"Marvolo, in a front of power, no amount of status or wealth will matter," Jack said with a smirk. "However, power does not imply everything in life." He finished while staring at Tom, who remained silent after hearing his response.

Jack simply shrugged and didn't bother anymore.

Time passed, and occasionally some students looked into our compartment before leaving, because there was already Jack and Tom present, and there was plenty of compartments with enough space in the train to accommodate everyone.

The train ride lasted about 8 hours, and for the most part, Jack and Tom were just reading the books, with some occasional discussions about spells and Hogwarts.

*Knock* The door to our compartment opened with a knock and a teen version of Eva Green stood in front of Jack.

'Eva green?' As he looked at the girl, who resembled an actress from his previous life, Jack was taken aback.

"Get ready and change your clothes; we'll be at the school soon." The black-haired girl spoke flatly and gave them instructions, but her eyes were filled with disgust and contempt when she saw their muggle attire.

'No, Eva Green can't be a bigot and an inbred!' While observing her contempt and disgust, Jack had amusing thoughts. It was a shame because she reminded him of one of his favorite actresses from his previous life.

"Come on, Cassiopeia. There's some exciting news." From the outside, another male voice could be heard.

"Unlike you, I have work to do." Cassiopeia repsonded angrily, didn't give a second glance at them, and exited the compartment, closing the door rather forcefully.

'A Black,' From the harry potter books and information he remembered, Jack remembered her name. 'Well, it's not surprising, that she's a freaking bitch!'

Tom also didn't show much change, as he had already accepted this and knew how to change everything, which he had come up with after hearing Jack's words.

Even though he didn't respond at the time, Jack's words had a significant impact on him.

As the train began to slow down, they changed into uniform and took their trunk and pets, making their way out of the compartments.
