Arriving on an uninhabited island, the first thing we did was summon familiars. Each persons chant was unique to their own being and was made entirely of whatever they thought were the right words. My part was merely to spectate over each person.
K was first. As he chanted some weird phrases that sounded more chuni than anything, a ball of white and blue lights shimmered and turned into a small fairy child.
Smoker went next. His chant sounded like a judges monologue. It was weird as a ball of grey and black smoke appeared and turned into a lion beastman.
Aka was next. His chant was more of a job offering as red, brown, black, and golden light swirled together. Not long after a fox beastman bowed toward Aka.
I smiled and let them get acquainted before I summoned my own. I'll spare you the details of my gibberish chant, because frankly I didnt understand it. My new familiar was a bloody giant panda... No literally, it was a red and white panda known as a bloody giant panda.
---
We spent a week training familiars before Aka and K went off to find the few people I agreed upon. K, worried about his appearance, chose to wear an anbu mask made from ice with his captain suit on.
--
Within a day, four people were dropped off at the island. I looked over them and nodded. "Before fighting breaks out, I'll tell you now that your here for a reason."
"Spit it out already," one said angrily.
"I offer you a seat to join me. We will be riding the world of its true evils," I said.
"What evil is it exactly?" one asked.
"The world government, some pirates, some corrupt marines. Invaders. You know, a typical tuesday afternoon," I said with a slight smile.
"I'll join...." one man said.
"As will I," another said.
"I have no reason not to," the third said.
"I cant exactly disguise who I am, now can I?" the fourth said.
"I'll fix that. Do you agree?" I asked.
"Sigh... Yes, I agree," he sighed.
--
After explaining the ritual and all the necessary things needed, they all looked confused yet relieved. We began the process for the four, all choosing to stay human.
As Dragon, Sengoku, Mihawk, and Garp were broken from the eggs and recieved their skills, immortality, and curses. All gained reishi. Dragon gained chakra manipulation, rinnegan sharingan, and all ninja skills. His curse was 'curse of the storm' making his emotionless unless inside a storm. He lamented but I assigned him as the 2nd captain.
Sengoku gained defensive skills that I got randomly and forgot about. His curse was 'curse of protection' making him three times stronger when defending something but his defense crumbles if he was to initiate the attack. He became the 13th captain.
Mihawk gained eagle eye skill, shadow clones, and the ability to cut everything and make it unmendable. His curse was 'swords wrath' making him unable to use any other blade for the rest of his life, all other blades will be destroyed if he touches them. He became the 11th captain.
Garp however changed his appearance back to his younger days. He gained all martial skills, ninja skills, and a skill that heals with a strong punch. His curse was 'curse of truth' making him unable to lie or deceive others while also being unable to be lied to or decieved. He became the 7th captain.
Sighing aloud, I helped them summon familiars. Surprisingly, Dragon summoned a mini tailed beast, Sengoku summoned an golden ancient anubis, Mihawk summoned a griffen, and Garp summoned a magic beast in the form of a dalmatian.
---
"Alright, it's been three days. You've gone far with your skills but it's time for a squad fight!" I said excitedly.
"Who are we fighting?" They seemed confused so I smirked and brought all familiars with me.
"No familiars in the fight. I'll summon a squad of soul reapers but be warned, they wont hold back. Are you ready?" I said.
"Yes," the agreed.
I summoned a random soul reaper squad, getting the 8th division including their captain.
--
Yeah it was a tough fight. I had to let the familiars join to even the odds. Afterwards, they healed and decided to spend the rest of the week training while I visited Sakazuki.
--
"I have returned," I stated as I appeared in Sakazuki's bedroom.
He softly groaned in his sleep so I smiled slightly and curled up against him, my face between his neck and arm. As I closed my eyes to sleep, his hands wrapped around me and pulled my body closer to his own.
--
Waking up to a sharp pain, I look over my shoulder to find the culprit. Sakazuki had forcefully put his entire dragon in, his hand around my throat forcing me to be silent.
After having his way with me, while being careful of the stitches, we took a bath. Unsure of what to say, I stayed silent for a while before looking at him, "I want you in my life but I wont force you to."
Sakazuki lit a smoke and looked up at the ceiling, "What are you?"
"I dont know entirely..." I said.
"What are you planning?" he asked.
"To get rid of the evil in the world," I said and looked at the wall, "Its time to get rid of the real evil."
"Whats that supposed to mean?" he asked me and frowned.
"Every single person should be subjected to the same laws. Not a hierarchic of slavers ruled by an invader," I said sharply.
"So your mad that I killed that boy?" He said with a sigh.
"Mad? I grew up with that guy. He was my adopted brother!" I shouted at him and got out of the bath, "I thought you may have mellowed out in the last few years, but it seems you just became angrier."
"Why do you think I'm so angry?! Get back here!" he yelled and tried to grab me.
"You think I'm not angry?! I'm furious! I had to sit back and watch the man I love kill my brother, before being shipped off to learn to be independent. Instead, I broke. What do you want me to do?" I shouted back as I dodged his attempts to catch me.
"You love me?" he froze and said.
"Did you think I was only playing with you?!" I yelled furiously.
He didn't move or speak, just stood frozen to the spot and stared at me in disbelief. I frowned and pulled my phone out, searching for a song. Once I found it, I played it. As I Love You by Billie Eilish played, I sang along in melancholy.
--
Laying on his shoulders while he did paperwork, I was stuck in my head about the many things that have happened in the past years I've been here. So I spoke quietly, almost without sound, "I was a sick child. So frail that I lived in a bed surrounded by a bubble... Why didnt they just let me die back then..."
Sakazuki had barely heard the words, thinking the unknown language was the ramblings of a drunk, so he spoke just as quietly, "I dont want to love you.... but I do."
"Would you kill me if you knew the truth?" I said, just as quietly.
"I cant kill you. No matter how hard I try, I cant even stay mad at you," He said.
"Even if....," as I was about to tell him I wasnt from here, I got a quest.
-ding-
-Convince Sakazuki your from the void era. Reward: Age restriction changed to 18. Failure: True Insanity-
"Even if what?" he asked.
I hopped onto the chair on the other side of his desk, "Even if I'm not from this time?"
"What do you mean?" he put the papers down and raised an eyebrow.
"What if I said I was the last of my kind," I said and looked at my hands, feigning melancholy, "I know what happened in the 'void era'."
"What about it?" he stared me down.
"I was a child when the invaders came... As punishment for not bending to their will, I was forced to live forever and watch those I love die.... Do you know what its like to see your own family die out completely while being unable to move or do anything? When Aokiji destroyed that island, he killed the last of the people with my bloodline, freeing me from my shadowed imprisonment." I said and left a few tears fall.
Sakazuki didnt speak but silently remembered what happened back them. I took a few shakey deep breaths, "Only one invader remains right now, however, more are coming... The poneglyphs were made so the world could fight back against these invaders, yet the very government will have you believing otherwise, claiming they are dangerous for the world itself."
"You mean to tell me, your not only from the void era but your the last of your kind? What are you? Do you have proof?" Sakazuki asked, upset.
"Our era was more advanced than you would believe. You have den den mushi, we had cellphones, laptops, computers, tablets and more. That's in a civilian household," I said and brought out a cellphone, telling Aka to get his as well. I dialed Aka and soon connected.
"Hey, do you need me?" Akas voice rang out.
"Showing Sakazuki our tech from back home. Do you have your laptop or tablet?" I asked.
"Yeah no problem," he said hesitantly.
"Alright," I said and connected to video call as Aka transferred over to his tablet.
I waved at him, Sakazuki was amazed for a second before frowning, "Why didnt you leave me one of these things when you went with Mihawk?"
"We didnt have all the parts needed to make it. I used everything to make the music player and speaker," I said and he nodded.
"Oh right, speaking of parts, I got that last one for the latest project," Aka said.
"Oh! Let's test it!" I said excitedly. I mean I know this is a bit exaggerated, but we did buy some mini hologram things from starwars so we can feel accomplished in technology.
As he booted up the sender, I turned the receiver on and waited. A minute later, my receiver braclet buzzed. I accepted the call and held it to forward to see it and laughed, "Your facing backwards!"
"I was watching from your phone!" Aka hissed.
I laughed a bit, and we ended the call before I looked at Sakazuki. He had a stunned expression on his face so I spoke, "Do you believe me?"
"Yes...," he said quietly.
"My mother was half shinigami, half human. My father was half ghoul, and half human. Because of my mutations, I am no longer human, making me half shinigami and half ghoul. The side effects counteract each other and make me unable to have anything but tea. At least that's what the last mutation caused," I said.
"Why dont we know about those races?" he asked.
"Because shinigami never bother with the world. The one who did was killed. however nobody expected it to father a child. Ghouls were hunted as bad as invaders were. My father was accidentally infected and became a half ghoul, barely surviving the ghoul hunts. My sisters blood was diluted, so she never showed our characteristics. Even her children and grandchildren and so on, never got our mutations. I know I'm the last of both because I'm standing in front of you," I said calmly.
"How did the shinigami die out if they dont bother with the world?" he asked skeptically.
"A full blood shinigami gets a special tool from the king to lengthen their lives with. Once that tool is gone, they have numbered days to live. They arent the type to procreate even in death, if they did, they were killed," I said.
"Why were ghouls hunted?" he said still skeptical.
"Because ghouls can only eat human bodies. One body lasts a month before they get hungry again and are forced to eat or risk insanity and binge eating. Some hunted other ghouls, some killed humans for fun, some willingly binge ate, some willingly became crazy. It's something that nobody wants to remember," I said.
"So cannibals?" he said.
"Sort of," I turned my ghoul eye on, "This is the eye of a ghoul. All ghouls have these eyes, a kagane, haki level strength without trying, and regeneration. They arent human, only look like them."
Sakazuki nodded and watched me. I turned off my ghoul eye and turned my shinigami eye on, "The eyes of a shinigami tell a secret that none wish to know. With a glance, I know someones true name and their date of death. If I had the special tool, I would be immortal without my curse."
His eyes widened as he stared at me, unable to speak. I returned my eye to normal and smiled faintly, "Any other questions?"
"Whats your real name?" he asked.
"I dont remember it," I said faintly.
"And those languages?" he said.
"They are the languages commonly used but not the main language. Everyone knew the primary language however, its rude to marry without learning or knowing their lands language," I said.
"How many do you know?" he squinted his eyes.
"All of them. I was a child when the void era began. My only sanity was learning from the people I observed. Thankfully, the island I lived on was a research island full of scholars from around the world," I chuckled amused.
Sakazuki stayed silent and nodded.

-Quest complete. Sakazuki firmly believes you to be from the void era. You can now age to 18-
My phone rang, I smiled slightly and answered it, "Hello?"
"I believe I found a lead on 'that'. It isnt far from your location, ask Sakazuki if he has it," Aka said, trying to help me.
"Oh, alright thank you!" I said and hung up before looking at Sakazuki, "You dont happen to have a purple sea stone, do you?"
"Why would you want that?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Its the last ingredient needed for a special project. I'll be able to age to 18 physically if I get it," I said.
He opened a drawer and threw a smooth purplish rock to me, "Take it."
"Thank you," I said.
"Now. One last question," he said, "Do you remember the name of the island you lived on? Before it was Ohara."
"It was known to the world as Ohara but most called it Akashic," I said.
"The akashic records...?" he mumbled.
"Indeed, that entire island held so much knowledge. The library became known as the Akashic Records because everyone stored their knowledge there, even if it was to be passed down to the next generation. It was the safest place to keep knowledge because we also know secrets and many had made deals with shinigami for their eyes," I said with a laugh.
"Deals for shinigami eyes?" he was confused.
"Indeed, offer half of your remaining life and in exchange you get the eyes of a shinigami until death do you part," I shook my head, "I could make the deal but I'd have to physically take my eye out and exchange them. I dont want to do it either."
"I can understand that," he said dazed. I watched him as he sat back and thought about what I said.
