Talk with Police

Using Psychic, he floated and went to the first floor and entered through the window. He used Calm Mind on himself and kept on floating. Using Psychic he opened the door slightly as he hadn't sensed others in the room.

He knew there were only 2 people in the house.

Kirito went outside the room and kept on waiting for Police Sirens. He had been planning to Confuse Ray on them and make a sneak attack to make them unconscious. While he was waiting, he decided to listen to them.

"Oye! Oye! We have been in this house for so long and have already sold most of the things. When will we leave?"

"HaaaH! Bro Chill Out! I have already checked everything. The brat's in the orphanage while his Parent is dead. No one checks the house and no one will bother if they see new people here. We can still live here for 1 or 2 years."

"OH! Then I guess it's good. We have been running away all the time and in these 6 months, we could live freely and even bring others for money. It would be better if the Brat died later."

"Couldn't care less about Brat anyway. We still have many years."

Hearing them talking, Kirito couldn't wait to jab them and then beat them. But he calmed down or he might lose his chance. A few Minutes later, he heard a siren and wondered why the Police came with a siren that might alert the enemy and make him leave.

As soon as the duo heard the sirens, they jolted and started panicking.

Using chance, Kirito used Confuse Ray on the duo and hit the back of the neck with Psycho CUt but decreased its intensity to it might chop off their neck. He kept on hitting with decreased Psycho Cut until they became unconscious.

Kirito looked around to find any cloth or rope to tie them.

He checked the other room and found their unwashed clothes and used them to tie their hands, legs, and mouth.

As he was done, the Police came inside and opened the room, and said, "Hands Up! No one moves."

But the three people were shocked to see a 6-year-old child and 2 tied men.

Kirito walked to the side with a raised hand and said, "Hello Officer, I was the one who called the Police and these two are the unknown person in the house."

"Why are you alone Kid? Where are your Parents? Did you call them?"

Hearing this a sad smile appeared on Kirito's face, "They aren't here. Can you take the two people and lock them? I will also come to the police office to tell them everything. I also need to talk to your seniors."

"If they aren't here, Call--" As Officer 1 was about to speak, Officer 2 hit his head and said, "Shut up! They aren't her meaning they are.."

"I am sorry for that kid. But you will have to come to the police office to give your testimony and we also need to check on them"

Kirito nodded and went with them.

While they were in the van, the two men woke up and one f the panicked and said, "Ah The Police! The Polic is coming, we need to run bro."

While the other one who had seen his condition after looking around just looked at him with a deadpan gaze.

"Idiot! You and Your foul mouth. Just in the morning, we talked about running away and now we are caught. Look around."

Hearing their talks, the Policemen knew that the child's information was correct.

They reached the office and the two men were locked up while the child was asked if he would like to be dropped at his place.

Kirito shook his head and said, " I want to talk to the senior here."

Officer 1 had a weird face but he still nodded as the child had helped them catch the duo.

A few minutes later, Kirito was sitting in front of the Head of the Office.

"Sano Kirito, what did you want to talk about?"

"I want my parent's properties back and legalize myself."

"You can't, you will need a guardian."

"That's what I am saying, I want them back with legalization and without any guardian."

"As I said, You can't have them. Why are you asking even though you know? With this case, I can see you are smart enough to understand."

"Yeah! Because of this case, I want my property back. I don't trust the Police now as these two unknown men had been living in my home for the past 6 months and they sold everything there. Now there is no furniture or anything in the house. It's good that all the gold and money was in Bank or that would get sold too and you all didn't know about this."

"I heard them talking that It would be good If I died and then no one will care of 1 property and they would keep living there."

"Because of this, I want my properties and other things back. Legalized so that you all won't appear next year and take everything back. I will also need the compensation given my Heroes and compensation from the Police too for not keeping things in check and letting everything in my house get sold."

Hearing this, The Head remained silent. He couldn't speak as everything was true.

"I will speak to my seniors and see what can be done."

"Can you talk now? I don't want to delay and maybe you will forget the case or close it."

"Brat! Look at the person you are talking to and then talk. Do I look like a corrupted person who embezzles money?"

"I don't know you. My first impression of the Police is a bad one. I can say what I think or I shouldn't?"

"Wait then, I will talk now."

Kirito nodded and started waiting. While he was waiting, he started to think of other plans. After the Head had a talk, the case went to Police Chief Kenji Tsuragamae.

On the phone, "I am in the same city as you. Wait for 15 minutes and I will be coming."

"The Police Chief Kenji Tsuragame will be coming in 15 minutes. Wait here."

Kirito nodded and said, "Can I have a cup of water?"

The Head looked at Kirito's nonchalant face and question.

'This child isn't even scared of Police Chief. Haha! He will go very far in the future.'

The Head nodded and someone brought him a glass of water and Orange Juice. Kirito drank the water and kept the Juice.

15 Minutes later, A Dog-Man or Man-Dog...Ahm Ahm

15 minutes later, Police Chief entered the room and sat in front of Kirito. Both of them kept on looking at each other for 5 minutes and then Chief broke the silence and said, "Kirito, You are a tough one. So you want everything back legalized without any guardian."

Kirito nodded and started to drink his juice while giving a smile.

Police Chief's mouth twitched slightly but didn't say anything.

"Let's say, you don't get anything. What will you do?"

"I will speak the truth."

"Hmm?"

"I will post the incident on the internet."

"So you want to blackmail?"

"No, I will just be speaking or writing the truth. Nothing else."

"Then what if the article got taken down?"

"I will post one more article about how Heroes incompetence leads to Parent's death. How I was sent to an orphanage when I had a 2-year amnesia. How I found my house inhabited by unknown people and made them go to jail. Then the Police just said thanks and left me. How I asked for legalization and other things. Then the talk we are having and the end."

"I will post all this on the internet again."

A sweatdrop appeared on Police Chief's face but he still kept the fake expression and said, "What if that article was taken down too?"

"Nothing."

"Hmm?"

"Then I will do nothing as I will get them back when I will be older," Kirito said with a smile but the room's temperature had dropped and the air in the room felt heavy.

Keeping a smile, Kirito looked around and then a realized look appeared on his face.

"Oh Sorry Sorry! It seems I unconsciously used my Power as I used it on the day my Parent's died. It seems it depends on my mood. Sorry for that, I will train to control it and never hurt anyone."

Kirito said with a sorry face.

The Police Chief was feeling heavy and was having a hard time to breath.

"It's Okay kid. Just take care and train it."

Kirito nodded and gave him time to handle himself and stabilize.

"So what will happen?"

"Haah! You will get them but you will need to have one Hero as Legal Guardian. This will be a condition from us and Hero won't bother you if you don't want anything to do with them."

"Ugh! But I will choose the hero. Give me the list."

(Mirko here is 3 years older than in Canon and has become a hero.)

Kirito read the list and then his eyes fell on a name.

'She won't bother me much as she only wants to fight.'

But he had no idea that the one he chose will be the one who will bother him most.

"I choose her."

"Are you sure kid? You want to choose Mirko of all the people."

"Yep! She won't bother me as she doesn't care about anything."

Hearing this, Police Chief had a weird expression and shook his head.

'It seems this kid doesn't know much about her. Oh Well! Not my problem. The contract won't say anything about bothering or anything.'
