Hurry! It's Mother Supreme! a woman yelled from inside the mini hut where Saraphina was.
Ah! Saraphina groaned in pain while Maya held onto her, comforting her.
The midwives are on their way, mother supreme, Maya said rubbing her back.
The woman in labour is the mother supreme of all witches, not just the clan but the whole kingdom too.
She was from the descendants of the most powerful and dangerous witches of all times.
Two other witches rushed into the hut with three midwives.
Quickly they took over from Maya as they made her lie on the mat, then spread her legs apart.
Using a George rapper to cover her both legs, they began doing their job as they urged her to push.
Supreme mother Saraphina did all she could, pushing with all of her might.
But the baby wasn't forth coming, its been several minutes but the babys head hasn't been seen yet.
You can do it mother, you can do it, Maya encouraged her.
She was sweating all over, she was making efforts but it was like they weren't enough.
I can't do it, she cried.
You can do it Supreme mother, I believe in you, Maya encouraged her.
Ever since she got pregnant it has been from one complication to the other.
All of her powers still wasn't enough to stop the pain.
Everyone knew she was from the descendant of powerful witches.
Maybe this Child is another very powerful one, very powerful that they can't stop it even in the womb, on of the midwives who is also from the generation of the witches midwives would tell other witches under the supreme mother.
Taking a deep breath, Saraphina took one last push and there she was.
The long awaited child.
She kept pushing nonstop until they child was safe in the hands of the midwives who beamed with smiles.
She was the most beautiful child they have every delivered in their whole existence.
She was as white as snow.
Her eyes were Blue and pretty.
She looked fragile and innocent.
The midwive who held her quickly showed her to her mother who was excited to see her.
She saw her blue eyes and recognized her instantly.
She knew who she was and who she will be.
I have to go clean her up, the midwife said and Maya followed them.
Few minutes later, the baby was returned by Maya, dressed in the clothes Saraphina already prepared for her as she handed her to Saraphina who took her with smiles on her face.
Kissing her all over.
She's so beautiful, Mother supreme, Maya complimented.
Yes Maya, my child is golden, Saraphina replied hugging the baby to herself.
Have you thought of a name yet? Maya asked.
Yes, Saraphina replied then began coughing.
Go get me a cup of water, she said to Maya who rushed out.

Its finally here, your Majesty, the seer announced walking into the palace.
King Wright was in a meeting with the fifteen elders when the seer walked in.
You dare disrupt my meeting? Wright growled at him.
I'm sorry your Majesty but you need to hurry, your mate and our Luna has been born, he announced with a wide smile.
The elders cheered in excitememt but ofcourse, their voices were very low.
This meeting is over,he announced then walked off immediately.
He followed the seer who was happy to lead him.
Having no expression on his face, no one could guess if he was excited or not.
You could go with the royal carriage your higjness, the seer suggested, wanting to go on football.
King Weight ignored him as he walked towards the royal stable instead.
He got into his special white horse which is as old as the kingdom itself, yet still alive and strong.
Your highness? The seer called.
Come with the carriage, Wright said as he pulled the rope on his horses neck running past him.
The royal carriage? The seer muttered.
No one enters the royal carriage, he muttered again
Get in,the guard ordered and he got in looking frightened.
He hoped it won't be a trap
King Wright ran past the statue of the white horse which was at the palace gate.
He glanced at it then looked away as he opened his left palm trying to find the way since he abandoned the man who knew.
His brow creased into a frown when he found out it was the coven of the witches.
His Mate's mother is a witch? he thought.
He was expecting his mate would be a wolf like his dad or a mermaid just like his mom.
Frowning in displeasure, he rode down the path hoping its not an ugly child.
Getting to the coven, he saw witches pacing about.
While some were running from one room to the other.
He was expecting to see smiles on theor faces but what he saw was the opposite.
Is his mate ugly?
Did the moon goddess decided to punish him but giving him a mate that comes with sadness?
He didn't seem to understand why some were crying.
Opening his palm again, he searched for where the child is but he couldn't see anything.
What's going on? he wondered as he urged his horse to ride faster.
His impatience grew with each step till they got to the mother supremes
Everyone who saw him bent to reverance him while they raised their brows in surprise.
The king has never been to their coven before.
Is he about to execute any of them? some feared as they remained in their bowing positions.
Who amongst you gave birth to a child? he asked in his thunderous voice scaring them.
Its the mother supreme, your majesty, one of them spoke.
Growling deeply but loud enough to scare them, he walked towards her chamber.
The room he saw was the same room he saw in his palm.
Your majesty, the women in the room bowed in fright upon seeing him.
But they had tears in their eyes...
Where is the child? he growled.
Your majesty, shes gone! Maya cried
What do you mean she's gone?! King Wright growled grabbing her by the neck
They took her away, mother supreme is unconscious too, The midwife who held the child yelled pointing towards the inner room.
Angrily, King Wright dropped Maya then stormed into the room.
Saraphina was lying unconscious, blood oozing out of the wound on her head, then a bloody stone was lying on the floor beside her.
The baby cot, empty.
Your majesty, the seer called rushing in.
He took a quick glance at the situation and also took two steps backwards.
He wasn't ready to be the sacrificial lamb for this damage.
Growling King Wright stormed out of the hut, climbing on his horse who saw his mood.
Without a word or any effort, the horse already knew where he was heading to next.
He rode him down to the river side.
Taking off his royal cloak, he walked deep onto the river till he was completely swallowed.
The horse stood and watched over him while he fought his battle silently, in the water.
