Hundreds of years ago, the Luna of the White Horse Kingdom put to bed through the most difficult labour. She gave birth to two twin boys which she named Wyatt and Wright. They were known all through their neighboring clans and kingdoms for their prowress and their fighting abilities. They were so identical yet so different. Hurry! It's Mother Supreme! a woman yelled from inside the mini hut where Saraphina was.
Ah! Saraphina groaned in pain while Maya held onto her, comforting her.
The midwives are on their way, mother supreme, Maya said rubbing her back.
The woman in labour is the mother supreme of all witches, not just the clan but the whole kingdom too.
She was from the descendants of the most powerful and dangerous witches of all times.
Two other witches rushed into the hut with three midwives.
Quickly they took over from Maya as they made her lie on the mat, then spread her legs apart.

But the baby wasn't forth coming, its been several minutes but the babys head hasn't been seen yet.

Few minutes later,the baby was returned by Maya, dressed in the clothes Saraphina already prepared for her as she handed her to Saraphina who took her with smiles on her face.

Have you thought of a name yet? Maya asked.
Yes, Saraphina replied then began coughing.

Its finally here, your Majesty, the seer announced walking into the palace.
King Wright was in a meeting with the fifteen elders when the seer walked in.

The elders cheered in excitememt but ofcourse, their voices were very low.
This meeting is over,he announced then walked off immediately.
He followed the seer who was happy to lead him.
Having no expression on his face, no one could guess if he was excited or not.
You could go with the royal carriage your higjness, the seer suggested, wanting to go on football.
King Weight ignored him as he walked towards the royal stable instead.
He got into his special white horse which is as old as the kingdom itself, yet still alive and strong.
Your highness? The seer called.
Come with the carriage, Wright said as he pulled the rope on his horses neck running past him.
The royal carriage? The seer muttered.
No one enters the royal carriage, he muttered again
Get in,the guard ordered and he got in looking frightened.
He hoped it won't be a trap
King Wright ran past the statue of the white horse which was at the palace gate.
He glanced at it then looked away as he opened his left palm trying to find the way since he abandoned the man who knew.
His brow creased into a frown when he found out it was the coven of the witches.
His Mate's mother is a witch? he thought.
He was expecting his mate would be a wolf like his dad or a mermaid just like his mom.
Frowning in displeasure, he rode down the path hoping its not an ugly child.
Getting to the coven, he saw witches pacing about.
While some were running from one room to the other.
He was expecting to see smiles on theor faces but what he saw was the opposite.

Growling deeply but loud enough to scare them, he walked towards her chamber.

They took her away, mother supreme is unconscious too, The midwife who held the child yelled pointing towards the inner room.
Angrily, King Wright dropped Maya then stormed into the room.
Saraphina was lying unconscious, blood oozing out of the wound on her head, then a bloody stone was lying on the floor beside her.
The baby cot, empty.
Your majesty, the seer called rushing in.
He took a quick glance at the situation and also took two steps backwards.
He wasn't ready to be the sacrificial lamb for this damage.
Growling King Wright stormed out of the hut, climbing on his horse who saw his mood.
Without a word or any effort, the horse already knew where he was heading to next.
He rode him down to the river side.
Taking off his royal cloak, he walked deep onto the river till he was completely swallowed.
The horse stood and watched over him while he fought his battle silently, in the water.
