Old People Are Always More Than What Meets The Eye!
Alexandra giggled while Kai and Clamour vehemently asked whether what they had just heard was true.
"Didn't I have to come here or else?" Kai asked.
"Nope, not at all," the amiable priest laughed as Serai casually left the carriage as if she hadn't done anything worthy of a mention."
Before leaving the area, she turned to look at Kai and left some words behind, "Don't worry about it."
"Hey, woman!" Kai yelled behind her in frustration. "Get back here!"
However, not only did she not stop, but anyone who heard Kai address another Holy Knight in that manner resulted in a series of deadly stares being directed at Kai and his group.
"Did she really..?" the priest asked in a worried expression, but quickly added with an understanding nod and ignored the accusation. "Holy Knight Serai is quite the prankster, I suppose… Oh, well!"
