I have Tourette Syndrome but so what!
Hello everybody I'm Aphrodite, the female protagonist of this story. You could be wondering what happened to me. Since the age of two, I've had Tourette Syndrome, and life in middle and primary school has been awful. And I occasionally get tics and dizzy every few days. My illness is, however, definitely under control thanks to the medication. In high school, I met my boyfriend Zack, who is quite attractive and unquestionably intelligent. He is also caring and supportive, in contrast to my crazy best friend Ariel, who is always the most chatty and there for me. But one day, everything changed when Leo, the mayor's son, showed up at my school. We even had a lot of tense moments together! It's so awkward, too! I start to feel conflicting emotions toward him. I know I shouldn't be feeling this way because I already have a boyfriend, but I can't seem to shake the feelings. I remained apart from Leo. Days later, Zack realized how difficult our relationship was, and he started to act aggressively and throw temper tantrums at me because he thought I had an affair with Leo. Through the characters I created for this book, I was also able to express some of my own emotions. If you're a fan of my novel or pay close attention, you'll note that my female lead never uses anything other than Zack's name when addressing her boyfriend. Try to figure out why!
Chapter 2 Introduction
The school was in a frenzy one day, and girls from every grade ran to the high school's entrance. At this point, you may have guessed my age: I'm 17. I'm very intrigued, so Ariel and I decide to go outside and take a look. A young man exits his Lamborghini while grinning and waving to the females. I defined him as one of those jerks as soon as I saw him. who are solely skilled at lying and manipulating girls. I was surprised to hear from Ariel, who stated, "You know that new boy is the mayor's son? We therefore need to avoid him at all costs to avoid trouble in this city."
I suddenly felt extremely lightheaded and dizzy, and I knew I was ready to pass out in the crowd. I intended to call Ariel at that point to inform her, but I was too late because I passed out. When the new boy notices this, he promptly grabs me by the arms. He then took me to the nurse's office. What a "great" day!
