Chapter 08 Nice Core

Walking towards the battle between the hound and the xiantian realm cultivator with a boar life spirit, Lu Jin rolled on the grass to cloud his scent so as to not alert the hound.

Watching and waiting for an opportunity to strike, he was like an assassin waiting for his target to drop his guard.

Clawing and biting at Su Wun, Tai Hu forced him to totally focus on defense.

Wasting no time at all, he launched it at Su Wun, cracking the boar phantom and forcing blood out of Su Wun's mouth after coming in contact with it. 

Smiling joyfully, Tai Hu continued pressing forward when he suddenly heard Tai Bu shouting.

"Watch out," looking at Tai Bu to know what was going on, he saw a beautiful sword light curving through his neck and then darkness took over.

Bang!!

Seeing the lifeless hound on the ground, Su Wun could not help but be shocked as he looked at the nine year old kid taking out the core of the hound.

"Tai Hu!!" Tai Bu shouted as he looked over.

Bang!!

Landing on he ground after been hit by Wu Lan's lance, Tai Bu got blood on his right shoulder. 

Looking at the core in his hand, Lu Jin nodded his head, "what a nice core."

"You will die for what you did to Tai Hu," Tai Bu said as he got up on his feet while staring at Lu Jin.

"You will still try to kill me even if I didn't kill him, " Lu Jin said as he kept the core inside his bag and looked at Tai Bu.

"You are the one who killed Bai Lan, " Yu Hui said as she looked at Lu Jin, feeling shock at the strength and craftiness Bai Lan's killer has.

"Killing the hound makes it easier for me to stay hidden, now I can run and hide where none of you can easily find me. But I won't. Not now we have the opportunity to harvest all your cores," Lu Jin said as he looked at Wu Lan.

He continued, "why don't we kill them all and the person who get the kill, get to keep the core."

"Ok," Wu Lan agreed as he charged towards Tai Bu.

"Why didn't you ask for my own opinion before you agree to te...." Bu Nan couldn't complete his words as he got hit by Yu Hui's attack.

"Ahhhh!" He screamed as he got thrown back by Yu Hui's attack

"Be focused and don't be distracted," Yu Hui said as she kept on slashing her wings at Bu Nan, giving him no chance to catch his breath as he was forced to defend.

Looking at Bu Nan getting forced back, Chu Xue looked at Lei Hu and said, "try to hold on, let me help young master."

"Ok. But try to be quick, I'm not sure I will be able to hold him back for long," Lei Hu said as he launched a spell at Bu Tang, accompanying the spell was a flaming sparrow, that was Lei Hu life spirit.

Bu Tang was a wolf of 7 ft tall, seeing the sparrow bath with fire heading his way, he swiped his claw at the sparrow.

Bang!!

He was thrown back as he felt pain at the hand that came in contact with the flaming sparrow, looking at the hand, it was burnt.

"You should never have tried to stop my attack with just your bare hand without enforcing it with your demonic Qi," Lei Hu said as he prepared another attack.

"And you should have never let that your friend go, without having an armor like the other guy that is been forced to defend by the young miss," Bu Tang said as he ignited his bloodline inheritance.

Sending his tail whipping at Lei Hu, Bu Feng used so much force that by the time Lei Hu reacted and sent out his attack, it was already too close to change the ultimate result.

Piercing through the attack of Lei Hu, the tail continued before piercing through Lei Hu's neck, ending his life.

Looking at the incoming Chu Xue, Yu Hui ignited her bloodline inheritance, the phenomenon of a peacock appeared behind her, making her look like a demon queen.

Spreading her tail, the eyes on the tail locked on Chu Xue before producing compressed beams of demonic Qi that shot him.

Seeing the attack, Chu Xue launched his life spirit towards the attack, his life spirit was a hound with flames burning in it eyes.

Two compressed beams shot through the hound after eight of was blocked, piercing through Chu Xue's body and ending his short lived life.

Taking hold of this chance, Bu Nan thrusted his spear at Yu Hui while using the full power of his spear.

Piercing through the heart of Yu Hui, he released the flames of the spear and the heart of Yu Hui was burnt.

Watching as the peacock fell to the ground, Bu Nan felt relief and joy for getting another strong demon's core.

Looking at Chu Xue's dead body, Bu Nan went towards it before squatting in front of him.

"I have avenged your death by killing the one who killed you. You can now rest in peace," he said to Chu Xue's corpse.

Going back to the time Lu Jin killed Tai Hu.

After keeping Tai Hu's core and forming a team with Wu Lan to kill all the demons currently here, Lu Jin looked at the battle field.

Seeing Bu Nan getting forced back by Yu Hui, Lu Jin was about to help when he saw Chu Xue moving to help Bu Nan.

Looking at where Chu Xue was coming from, he saw Lei Hu attack injuring Bu Tang and was about to look away when Bu Tang tail pierced through Lei Hu's attack and then his neck.

Moving rapidly as he saw the chance to kill Bu Tang, he used the sixth move of his sword technique, the Cleaving Mountain technique on Bu Tang.

Cleaving down his sword toward the head of Bu Tang, Lu Jin was sure that if the sword landed Bu Tang head will split open.

But not all plan ever succeed. Bu Tang lashed his tail towards Lu Jin's sword.

Boom!!

Lu Jin was sent flying through the air as he was flung back by Bu Tang's tail.

Looking at the tail's condition, Lu Jin could not help but hope that it will be like his battle with Bai Lan, where due to Bai Lan's injured state and his low demon qi, the technique he used was incomplete.

"Even if I don't have a mortal rank battle technique, I'm not someone a body tempering realm human can kill just because he caught me off guard." Bu Tang said as he launched his tail toward Lu Jin.

Using the 4th move of the sword technique, sword dash movement technique, he moved sideways to dodged the tail, moving forward as he got near to Bu Tang, Lu Jin used *dance with the wind* technique as he slash at the tail of Bu Tang.

Slashing through the tail until it came into contact with the bone, Lu Jin's sword came to a stop.

Seeing his sword coming to a stop, Lu Jin immediately backed away but Bu Tang was faster, ramming into Lu Jin with his head.

Cracck!!

Sounds of bones breaking could be heard as Lu Jin was sent flying backward.

Standing up with difficulty, he could see that the demon qi around Bu Tang's tail was reducing.

Facing Bu Tang, Lu Jin used the Silk line technique, getting into his stance, right leg back, left leg front, back bent a little bit and sending all the strength of his body, to the hand holding the sword.

Looking at Lu Jin, Bu Tang was dazed, and by the time he recovered, Lu Jin moved.

Sending his tail to obstruct Lu Jin, BuTang's tail was pierced through as the sword continued it advance before piercing into Bu Tang's brow.

"If only you had a mortal rank battle technique, then I would never have been your match," Lu Jin said to Bu Tang.

Taking out Bu Tang's core, he mumbled to himself, "but there is no if during a life and death battle, if you die, you die."

Looking at the battle field, Lu Jin noted, "looks like Bu Nan battle has finished, Su Wun helped Aoi Feng and together they killed the Panther demon commander, leaving only the injured Tai Bu and Du Fang as the only demon left.

Taking a rest, Lu Jin sat cross-legged on the ground as he waited for the rest to finish their battles.

After Bu Nan helped Gu Wuchen to battle Du Fang, the battle became a bit easy for Gu Wuchen.

Been pushed back repeatedly made Du Fang to use his bloodline inheritance.

Du Fang true form is a warthog, after using his bloodline inheritance, scales grew out to cover his body, increasing his attack and defence by a large margin.

Immediately, he rammed towards Gu Wuchen, seeing the incoming attack, Gu Wuchen dodged to the side as he sent out a flaming palm strike at Du Fang.

Taking the opportunity, Bu Nan resonated with the energy qi in the flaming spear to launch an attack that pierced through the body of Du Fang and successfully killing him.

Wu Lan battle was more difficult, but Wu Lan insist on taking on Tai Bu on his own.

A phenomenon appeared behind him as he took out the staff he hung on his back, an overbearing image of a large ape appeared with a staff in his hand behind Tai Bu.

Looking at Wu Lan and the rest, the image spoke together with Tai Bu, "you all will see the power and glory of a true demon and finally you shall all meet your end together with me," immediately he attacked together with the phantom image of the ape.

"Attack together," Gu Wuchen shouted as he launched a flaming palm strike toward the incoming staff and in the middle of the palm was a word, *FIRE*, which was Gu Wuchen's life spirit.

Bu Nan used the full power of his spear and even the power of his armor to give more strength to his arm, sending more flames toward the spear through his life spirit, the flaming eagle, as he thrust the spear toward the incoming staff of Tai Bu.
