I did not know when Kakashi had rejoined me while I was lost in thoughts, but he did not disturb me. When I looked to the side he was already siting there. "It must be hard on you as well." I raised my brow, not understanding what he meant. "I had wondered what would drive a twelve-year-old to gain that much power. It must not have been easy. You talked about forces in the dark your current self could not contend with. Know that if you need anything, anything at all, we won't hesitate."
"We?" I asked. He nodded and answered, "Guy as well. That battle maniac will definitely not pass up on a chance to have a good fight." He laughed loudly which made me laugh as well. I quite liked this version of Guy and Kakashi. I nodded with a smile; grateful.
Just as I was about to ask him about his team, Kakashi's team walked through the door. Looking at the team I was surprised and quite frankly, a little offended. Walking through the doors were 2/3rd of the original team 7 that I knew of. Naruto, rocking a white and orange top and the gloom king in his usual dark blue top. So, who was this then? I had been totally replaced by the universe. Next to them was another girl with light brown hair and wore simple blue top and black tights that went down to her knees. She was quite tall for her age; Almost a head taller than Sasuke. I could tell I had been replaced because she kept stealing glances at Sasuke.
"Sakura. What are you doing here?" Naruto looked pleasantly surprised. Sasuke frowned when he saw me as he began to openly glare at me but I ignored him. The replacement me also seemed to glare at me for some reason. Things followed the anime with Kakashi asking about their dreams and likes and dislikes, starting with him. Turned out the girl was Suzume Akari.
After everyone had their turn, Naruto and Kakashi both turned to look at me. "What?" I asked them, already knowing what they wanted me to do, I really had no interest. "Since you are already here why don't you have a go as well?" Naruto said, with Kakashi nodding. The gloom king and the replacement me, Akari, was it? Well they looked completely uninterested.
"Alright then. Let's see, I like information. Information, coupled with my power, I believe makes me almost invincible. I don't like it when the information I have suddenly changes. Makes me mad. My dream is to hold enough power to make others shiver at my name." I finished with a 'V' sign and a smile. At some point, even Sasuke and Akari had been drawn by my words. Naruto looked confused, and Kakashi just narrowed his eye at me. After, he turned to inform them about the next day's test, he disappeared with the flicker.
'I should set off as well. I have a long mission ahead. Before that,'
"Yo Naruto. Catch." I took Ken's book out from my storage and tossed it to Naruto. "I was supposed to give this to you when I returned but I ended up forgetting. Keep it safe. It's part of your Uzumaki heritage." He looked at me confused and I could tell he wanted to ask about his heritage that I just talked about, but shook my head indicating it was not the time for it.
"What's up gloom king?" I turned to Sasuke who was about to leave. He turned and glared at me. He looked at me for a while before speaking, "Don't forget your promise." Then walked away with Akari following not far behind him, but not before she glared at me. I could let it go, but I definitely did not want to. With so many things different about this world, there was a chance of her being involved in something interesting.
"So, are you going to tell me what's up with you?" I turned to Naruto and asked once everyone had left. He smiled wryly and shook his head.
"I was just disappointed I could not be in the same team as Hinata, that's all." I forced out a smile and answered.
"Yes, that was quite surprising as well. But you can both just get a place together once you both begin making money. What am I even saying? Better yet, best to take it slow. Good, now that we have that out of the way, can you tell me what is really wrong with you?" He looked surprised then looked down. I stood there waiting for him to answer.
Seeing I was not about to let it go, he sighed before speaking "It is about Mizuki. Once again, I was reminded about a monster fox living inside me. Seems no matter what, I will always be seen as nothing more that the demon fox."
'That is right, no matter how mature he was forced to be, he is still just an eleven-year-old or twelve-year-old brat after all. I'm beginning to feel like a baby sitter; The things I do.'
My hand turned black and blew on it, "Garp style: Fist of Love" I loved how I could blacken my fists and pretend it is Haki with Earth Style: Iron skin. My blow landed on his head.
"What the hell was that for?!" Naruto held his head looking at me aggrieved. I shook my head and spoke, "Listen Naruto. Things for you are very different from before. You have two grown overprotective big brothers and an even more overprotective girlfriend. You have a weird but good family now. So, what are you sulking for?" He began to looked ashamed after thinking about.
"Besides, have you ever wondered what the fox is going through? Locked up inside you every day. Probably all alone with no one to talk to or no one to understand it. Everyone has a story Naruto, the main reasons for most fights is because no one is willing to listen to the opinions of others." I advised him. It seemed to have gone through him as he remained quiet. He finally looked at me with enlightenment in his eyes.
"You are right. I'm sorry." He smiled goofily before he pointed at me which got me confused. "You forgot about you." Seeing as he saw I was still confused, he spoke, not losing his goofy grin, "You forgot about you being my first friend. I have a great friend as well."
'Damn. That was super cringe. How can he say that with such a straight face? Ah, my chest feels weird' I really could not help but smile.
"Now comes the next part of why I'm here. I have a request. I want to see the fox." My sudden request came out of nowhere and threw him off. He was about to reject until he remembered what I just said to him.
"Okay. I want to meet him too. I want to apologize and ask about his side. So how do we do this?" He spoke seriously, waiting for my response.
'Ah, so bright!' I mentally shielded my eyes from the blinding halo which was the quadruple plot armor working overtime.
"Okay. Sit." I instructed him, which he complied. "It should be simple enough. Just like searching for your chakra, just dive into your mindscape or something, I'm right behind you."
"What do you mean or something?" Naruto retorted
"Or something means I know how to enter mine, so how have you not tried to enter yours since you knew you had someone sealed inside you?" He gave a wry smile before closing his eyes to concentrate. While he was concentrating, I placed my hand at his back and drove my consciousness into his mindscape, which I might add, was surprisingly easy.
[Hey guys. Your argue-back author here. I got some weird inspiration and want to write a cultivation story. They way it is in my head it looks very cheezy, but fun. The fun kind of cheezy. I only see bits and pieces of the story but I want to write it.]
