Several years turned to several decades that then transformed into several hundred years as even now, Saber was still perfecting his art.

Obviously, for a Golden Immortal, several hundred years was no different than in the blink of an eye.

But, for Saber, it was the longest time he spent training. Luckily, the past several hundred years passed by when he was in a state of enlightenment.

Several hundred years... After a couple of decades, the attacks slowly began traveling a longer distance while not self-destructing, and at the same time, Saber's energy reserves were taking longer and longer to be dried up.

After the hundred-year mark, Saber's sword art could be used in a battle of the Golden Immortal scale several times.

He didn't stop though. Even though he could constantly evolve, making the energy consumption in his attacks something that could be overlooked, and allowing him to use the attacks much more than merely several times, he still needed to get rid of any flaws.

And to do this, he simply continued to practice. Practice and practice... Several hundred years went by and his technique was honed to perfection.

A gleaming purple light traveled across the skies of the third floor. Wherever it went, space would be destroyed, unable to heal, and locked in time.

One would be able to see an endless void in that space, a void filled with countless chaotic multi-colored stars that constantly exploded.

It was like loading something, from 1% to 99% there was a certain speed, but from 99% to 100%, it took ages. A concept similar to that had appeared here.

Hundreds of years went by in a flash. In the empty skies, there weren't any clouds nor a sun, or moon.

Anything and everything on the third floor had become a dark void filled with constantly exploding stars.

In this space, Saber slashed again and again. Slashing and tearing at the void as his sword gleamed until...

Huh?

Saber paused. His figure halted in an instant as his pores rose and a feeling of absolute dread descended, taking up all his senses.

Spinning his head, the only thing he saw was a massive flaming meteor rushing toward his location!

"W-What...?!"

...

...

Alvis was already at the pinnacle of the Golden Immortal realm. Coupled with countless eons of accumulation, simply an opportunity was needed.

After a few years inside the special space separated from the third floor of hell's tower, Alvis had already become a Pseudo Prime Immortal.

Only his comprehension needed to break through.

Of course, he had years of insights to fall back on and coupled with the unique environment he had found himself in, it was simple to make a breakthrough.

Once assessing the monstrosity known as Saber, he had re-emersed himself in seclusion and began condensing his insights, initiating his breakthrough.

If not for the specialness of this space created by the Lord of Hell's Towers, he'd need tens if not hundreds of thousands of years to break through.

Luckily, with only a little under a millennium, Alvis found himself undergoing a lightning tribulation as his consciousness began comprehending something else...

His mind expanded and absorbed the essence of the next level of the flaming element. A level only Prime Immortals could reach.

Worthy or unworthy, it all depended on whether he could survive the lightning tribulation.

Whether or not his accumulations were enough or not, after being matured for millions of years, his soul was strong enough to handle the tribulation.

Surpassing the nine tribulations, the element congratulated his successful breakthrough with a boost in his reserves of atomic and sage energy.

A boost in both quantity and quality. His eyes shot wide open. Shocked and flabbergasted by the immense energy and raw power coursing through his body.

Even if thousands or tens of thousands of Sword Demons rushed toward him with killing intent, with his current level, Alvis felt like he didn't even need to attack them and they'd die.

A mere glance!

Of course, this was how he felt. As for doing it, maybe... First, he needed to consolidate his breakthrough by completely absorbing his insights and power.

In a daze, a couple of months passed as he stood to his feet. Each act of is made the space tremble as the sea of flames dispersed.

His eyes seemed to peer through the fabrics of space and back into the third floor of hell as his pupils dilated.

Saber's utter destruction entered his view for the first time.

"That little one sure is destructive, is he not?" An evil-sounding voice entered Alvis's ears. Right after, a shiver ran through his body as he identified the voice.

Even now, as he is now, a Prime Immortal, albeit the lowest level Prime Immortal, a Prime Immortal nonetheless, he still was unable to perceive his presence.

This sent shivers coursing through his body and a bead of sweat appeared and slowly slid down his cheek and to his chin.

"Y-Yes..." Alvis didn't understand how he should reply to this question. Is he supposed to express his anger, or should he be indifferent to Saber's destruction?

The Lord of Hell's Tower had an unreadable expression when speaking of Saber, so Alvis didn't know which he should choose. Was Saber a friend, or a foe?

"Hehe," The humanoid rabbit chuckled lightly upon seeing Alvis's confusion. "Hear this, go and kill him. If you can, then I'll bless you even further. Entering the True Immortal realm would be a matter of time.

"But, if you fail, heh, even after dying at Saber's hands, I'll personally torture you!"

Thrum!

The words reverberated in their surroundings as Alvis felt a killing intent soo thick that it almost suffocated him.

Soon after, his eyes flashed with a cold gleam. His situation was complex yet it was also simple.

He was caught in a situation where someone was putting him against that freak, and the most complex thing was, he didn't understand whether this person would keep his word.

From his point of view, it seemed like this Lord of Hell's Tower fancied Saber. Would he keep his word if Alvis killed Saber..?

This was what Alvis was most worried about. But, it wasn't as if he had a choice in the matter either.

Alvis's expression turned solemn as he waved his hand. Above his head, a massive crack in space formed, and flaming meteors hundreds of kilometers wide and thousands of miles long shot out of it.

Instantly, the space they were in collapsed. Their surroundings changed as they seemingly returned to the actual third floor of hell's tower.

In this dark void, countless exploding stars were omnipresent.

They died and sucked in the surrounding fragments, revived and exploded, forming massive and powerful black holes that tore apart at the surroundings before reviving perfectly fine once again.

Even in this chaotic space, a lone figure stood afloat swinging his weapon with an expression that made it seem like he was unaware of his surroundings. He seemed to be possessed as he continuously hacked into the void with his sword.

Surprisingly, there wasn't any intent in his attack, nor was there a physical representation like before.

Saber's sword art had evolved into a soundless and ethereal sword strike that gave birth to endless stars that fell onto his opponents.

But, at this time, a massive meteor burning with flames and originating from the newly appearing figure of Alvis, rushed toward Saber's figure.

Wherever it traveled, it burnt the dark void, making it possible to see another world... Alvis's power was simply too much for the outer void of the third floor, forcefully breaking into the second floor!
